Mark Strong picspam

Spam indeed ... yet another picspam, this time for my other new obsession, Mark Strong. There's a bunch of pictures from different movies, premieres, promo shots etc., followed by many many screenshots from Stardust. Because Mark Strong is hot in general, but he has never been hotter than as Septimus, I think. Not to mention that Septimus is plainly awesome and one of the many reasons to watch the movie. ^^

Those EYES. And ever since Patrick Stewart we know that bald is sexy. ^^

As Blackwood in Sherlock Holmes:

He's smiling. Top that! Smiling Blackwood made my week, I think.

Is that his bedroom look? Because if it isn't, I think the real bedroom look would kill me on sight. Guh.

... this is just creepy ...

I love this pic - does anyone know what movie it's from?

He said himself that he's frowning pretty much all the time ... yeah, I can see that. ^^

From Body of Lies. It took me about half a minute even to notice that Leonardo DiCaprio is on that photo as well. ;D

Is it just me or does he have incredibly slender, almost dainty hands for a man his size?

As Norfolk in Henry VIII. Epic frown. ^^

I think that's a smile. No?

Erm ...

I think this is from Tristan + Isolde.

Pity Hans is on none of these premiere pictures, otherwise this one would be absolutely perfect. RDJ's expression is hilarious.

From Good. He only has a tiny, tiny role, but the movie is still worth watching ... Viggo Mortensen, all I'm saying.

From Stardust:

Meet Prince Septimus.

Did you see the leather coat? Good.

That smirk ...

"Why should I kill my sister when these two cretins are still alive?" Love that line. ^^

Again, EYES!

You know you're screwed when Septimus is laughing at you.

"Has excessive begging or pleading ever persuaded me to spare the life of a traitor?"

You can't expect me to make a picspam without a boot shot ...

... or a hand shot ... guh. Thanks for making my knife kink even worse.

The bad pun about him being smoking hot sorta writes itself ...

This picture makes me LOL so hard. :)

Best WTF-face ever. Then again, you'd look like that too if you were suddenly facing this:

Surprise!De Niro in drag! :D

If you don't find him hot on this picture, I really can't help you anymore. Guh.

I think I've taken up enough of your time. I hope you enjoyed the spam. ^^ Come on, Mark deserves more love and attention from everyone.

The poor man will probably be doomed to wearing all manner of hairpieces for most of his career. But with a face that perfectly chiseled, who cares? And such a manly man. Yummmy.
My god woman, you're a virtual picspam whore now, giving it all away for free. ;-)

Unf, goddamn. Thank you for the spam, bb! You've noticed his slender hands too! I noticed them during one of my many viewings of Sherlock Holmes, and it instantly occured to me, that is they ever made a film about Christopher Lee, Mark would be SO perfect to play him (for hand reference: http://www.moviemarket.com/library/photos/175/175098.jpg) :D

Ooh! I wondered why he looked familiar when I saw Sherlock Holmes!

(also, yay Jason Flemyng! Naked! God, I love Stardust.)

ETA: Also, I totally didn't realize that was him in Tristan and Isolde. (And yeah, that's where that clip is from. Good movie. Hot Rufus Sewell. <3 )

FFFT, I didn't even know Mark Strong was in Body of Lies, which would have made that the first film I saw him in rather than Stardust.

Also, while re-watching Holmes for the 5 millionth time, I actually did randomly chat up my partner in RPS crime and go "IS IT JUST ME OR ARE MARKY'S HANDS FUCKING TINY?"

Whenever I do random AU RPs (like I randomly shoved character pastiches of RDJ and Jude into The Prestige, WTF mate) or RPS RPs, I'm always feeling obligated to include Mark somehow since he's ridiculously talented, intelligent, and well spoken and people don't nearly gush over him as often as they should.

I STILL HAVE NOT SEEN STARDUST. Even though I know many people who LOVE that movie. I have no idea why.

The only movie I've seen him in actually is RocknRolla. And MMMM. I need to watch that movie again, really.

He's completely the opposite from my usual type of man, I tend to like them much more feminine but MMMM DO I FIND HIM ATTRACTIVE.

Stardust looks worth viewing for him alone...

This is my sceptical icon.
Okay, the Body of Lies picture with proper hair actually looked nice, even verging on sorta hot. But I'd take my Schellchen over him any day *snugglecuddle*

Hihi, the ghost-brothers scene in Stardust was lulzylulz. But DeNiro in drag... XD That man just rocks that mole. ARRRRRRRRRRRR!

[identity profile] inamac.livejournal.com 2010-03-19 06:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Mmmm. Thank you for the Stardust caps - damn the man can work black leather...

And the handporn. Oh those fingers...

And you need to spend more time with Good. Mark Strong, Viggo Mortensen, and Jason Isaacs - three of the hottest wig wearer's guys on the planet in one movie!

I need to go and lie down now...

Other Mark stuff worth a look.

[identity profile] crafty40.livejournal.com 2010-03-20 01:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Other movies that haven't been mentioned here are "Low Winter Sun" and "Superstition" Both have Mark in quite large roles. The first he plays a policeman, the second he is a lawyer. Both worth a look. But if you have a hairpiece fetish he plays both with his natural shaved head.(Sorry)

FAAAACCCCCCKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!

I think the one with the cravat is from Emma starring Kate Beckinsale. Very nice romance and he's wonderful in it.
