Struwelpeter, yeah. I don't even think my parents ever read that story to me when I was a kid. But I generally think it's important to get dark and angsty stuff through to kids. There's nothing worse than these parents who want to 'protect' their kids from the real world by hiding it from them. And I think the real world is a lot more scary than Struwelpeter. ;) Whatever, but you're right, the angsting is somehow a logical consequence of spending too much time with German history and literature. All my favourite (German) authors have this something very brooding about them. Whatever. I'm rambling.

I love my "Hans angsting in bed"-icon. ;) I'd also want to write angsty football-RPS because most fic out there is fluffy, OOC, unrealistic crap. Or it's just porn. Which is cool too, but as I said not so much fun to write. GUNF, I read an amazing fisting fic on the kink meme recently. Didn't care about the players, but the fic (or rather the porn) was amazing.
