Please don't call him Hansi, that reminds me of the assistant trainer of the German national football team. Poor guy is really called Hansi. ;) Anyway, Matheson is great, but unfortunately he usually plays in crappy TV movies with horrible plots and dialogues so bad that even he can't make them good. But his acting is always spot on. Maybe you should stop downloading until you've watched everything. ;) Or make a priority list with stuff to watch and follow it then. ;)
I am 100% convinced that Eric won't die. Eric is too important in the show to die, and no matter how much they change compared to the books, they won't kill off one of their three main characters. It would be like killing Sookie or Bill. Russell ... I don't know. I think letting him live would be a big problem for the show: he's extremely powerful, and he wants to kill Eric. I don't see how they can let him live, realistically he'd just kill Eric and be done with it.

Most maker/child-relationships are actually sexual, but somehow it fits a lot better that way with Eric and Pam. I can just about see them trying to have sex shortly after he made her, because somehow Eric felt that's what maker and child DO, and Pam probably went like, "oh, GOD, Eric, let's never do that again. go back to your boys, I go back to my girls, and that's it, k?"
About Jessica: even wounds from silver heal again. Silver just hurts them more, and healing takes longer. But it heals anyway. Sooo ... no helping poor Jessica.

Also, everyone would whine about killing off one of the two black characters, it would be racist, see? ;) Anyway, I'm glad we get some more insight into Sam, even if it's all very vague right now. His brother ... I don't know if I want him to stick around. Puppy love is all good and well, but I think he'd just annoy me too much if he stayed for long.
