Exactly. Robert abused him enough emotionally without adding anything sexual to that (the very idea makes my skin crawl; I want to hug Stannis and give him some nice lemon water to cheer him up). But Renly having some sort of fanboy crush ... I can see that. And Stannis had a fit when Renly tried to smooch him in a not quite brotherly way. ;) Anyway, unlike this meme I don't want to ship them with each other. Nor Stannis with Rickon, for that matter.

Glad you liked it so far. :) I was very intrigued by Stannis' little speech about how he lost his faith, especially since I imagined that a well-behaved, obedient boy like Stannis definitely said his prayers religiously (haha) before his parents died. It must have been quite a shock for him to realise that the gods don't give a damn about him.
