My prompt required me to be sympathetic with Selyse, but I finally wrote that weird part. Now I can write the Stannis angst, and that's a lot easier to do.

I think a certain amount of resigned grumpiness is very helpful in life. Stannis just forgets that's what's even more important is not taking yourself seriously while you're at it. ;)
