I think Davos would see a lot of Stannis in Jon. He would like him because he's a "good lad" in general, but mostly for the similarities he sees between them. I thought there may be a smidgen of jealousy on Jon's part, but I think the "not worthy" feeling you described is more accurate. Young!Jon would've been jealous, but that was then.

OHH, I'd forgotten about the Sansa component! Have you written anything with those two interacting? I'd love to see that in action.
