I usually hate reading long fics because, as you said, very often they're -too- long for no reason at all. I have no idea how this happened, tbh. I just kept writing and writing and suddenly I was at 4000 words and they had barely kissed. But I feel completely worn out after this. oO

Oh God, now I'm just imagining tons of horrible purple prose. ;) I think Stannis and Sansa will actually be fairly non-angsty in the near future (since it's Stannis with his hang-ups, probably by the time they have a son). So Sansa will be happy while Stannis and Jon can angst about their wuv and UST which they feel very guilty about. ;)
I have such a thing for codependency and characters completing each other in a way, so these two push too many of my buttons. Not to mention that I'm shallow and have a huge thing for that kind of age difference.
