I've been trying to come up with an appropriate reaction to your comment for the last two hours, but I simply don't know how to express how incredibly happy your comment has made me. I'm smiling like an idiot. I don't think any reaction to any of my fics has ever made me so happy. Thank you. <3
It's great that my Sansa works for you. I love her, but this is the first time I've ever written her. I know how protective Sansa fans are of her and I was seriously worried that people wouldn't like how I write her. So thank you for that. :) I love the Sansa we see in the books, I love her for who she is, and I'm seriously not a big fan of the player!Sansa, the manipulative Ice Queen we see in some fics. I want Sansa to get her happy ending. Not a fairytale happy ending with a beautiful prince, but a realistic happy ending. I want her to marry someone who may not be perfect, but who will make her happy in the end. If that makes me, or you, bad Sansa fans, then I'd rather be a bad Sansa fan than wish for her to be an unhappy, miserable, completely jaded puppet master. I want her to grow up and be more mature, less naive, without ever ceasing to be who she really is.
Really, thank you again for your wonderful comment. It made me happier than I can express here. And if it matters, I plan to continue this fic at some point in the near future, when RL calms down a little. I want to write the morning after, and I have tons of ideas for other ficlets set in the same verse. :)
