I have to wait a while before reading it, since I only have access to a computer in my accommodation. I can barely maintain a straight face reading my Friends Page with four other people in the room, let alone reading slash: I'm just waiting for the uniforms and/or porn on it to ambush me as someone casually glances around the room at the screens.
a) I don't understand that trope at all: I would much rather see the scrawny guy top the stronger one. (Damn you and your Hellstrom/Landa fics, I'm sure that's where I acquired that taste. ;) I would probably make an exception for The Kindly Ones fic: someone has to write Max Aue/Thomas.)
b) Yes, in trying to distance the Craig era from the Brosnan era, they took away all of the hallmarks of Bond from the series, apart from the fast cars and ridiculous women. I understand why the producers wanted a "tougher" Bond in deference to the fashion for boring Jason Bourne types, but Craig's Bond is too arrogant for me to believe that he would ever survive for long.
c) I think that is even more weird thatn Bond/Hamlet if possible! The only Richard II that I've seen is with Timothy Dalton, so now you've made me imagine some sort of two-Bonds-with-Q, time-travelling menage a trois. Or should that be one Bond and two Richard IIs?
