Argh, no computer privacy is terrible. And it definitely makes reading porn very awakward. a) all my fault. ;) I don't know, there are some ships for which I don't mind that trope at all, but in many cases it's just more interesting to play around with the power dynamics rather than go with the obvious solution. b) I was okay with Craig being tougher and a bit more rough around the edges than Brosnan's very sleek, smooth Bond, but they really kind of overdid it in their attempt to do their own thing. Skyfall feels much more like a classical Bond movie to me, even though it's still relatively low-tech compared to the crazy gadgets Brosnan!Bond had. And mostly it didn't make much sense to me that Casino Royale wanted to tell the story of a younger Bond with an actor who was the same age as the other Bonds. Like, if you want to explore how Bond became Bond, cast a younger actor. c) Okay, this just keeps getting weirder. Poor Bond, with two Richard IIs, I don't think I'd want to be in his place. ;)
