I don't really feel like watching the show anymore, to be honest. I will probably watch it just for Eric (and Lafayette ... and the potential of Eric/Lafayette), but it really won't be the same anymore. Whatever is coming now can only disappoint.

I just don't see Eric offering something like that and then living on normally after Godric sent him away. I see him simply killing himself the next night. Because I don't believe that Eric offered to die with him in order to blackmail Godric, but because he really doesn't want to live without Godric.
