Mark Strong picspam

Spam indeed ... yet another picspam, this time for my other new obsession, Mark Strong. There's a bunch of pictures from different movies, premieres, promo shots etc., followed by many many screenshots from Stardust. Because Mark Strong is hot in general, but he has never been hotter than as Septimus, I think. Not to mention that Septimus is plainly awesome and one of the many reasons to watch the movie. ^^


Those EYES. And ever since Patrick Stewart we know that bald is sexy. ^^

Glad you appreciate him, he doesn't get half the drooling he deserves. ;) And I prefer a bald man who wears hairpieces in his movies to a man with ugly natural hair. ;) (Yeah, okay, I'm just turned on by his hair in Stardust ... long black hair will always get me.)

OHMYGOD YES, I was thinking exactly the same. On some pictures Mark looks so much like Christopher Lee, it's not just the hands. Especially on the one from Tristan + Isolde. I think it's this hawk-like nose. Unsurprisingly, I also have a huge crush on Christopher Lee. It's the voice. ^^

I agree, the hair is amazing! :D So are his clothes in Stardust - so much black and leather could make almost any man sexy ... on Mark it's just breathtaking. NC-17. ;)

I really need to watch so many more movies with him. ^^ Yay Rufus Sewell! Although, problem with Rufus Sewell is that a few years ago I had an OC who, in my head, looked just like him - which is why I can't watch anything with Rufus Sewell anymore without thinking of my OC. -.-

So many reasons to love Stardust. Mark is the main reason, closely followed by De Niro in drag. That scene is one of the best things ever. :D

Ah, that makes sense, yes. Thank you. ^^ I've seen Oliver Twist in the cinema when it was first released, but I can't remember anything, and I definitely can't remember Mark being in it, because I had no idea who Mark was back then. ;) *puts it on the list of movies to (re)watch*

It's awesome, yes, but I don't think anything beats his awesomeness in Stardust. Except maybe smiling Blackwood, which is just the best thing ever. :D

FFFT, I didn't even know Mark Strong was in Body of Lies, which would have made that the first film I saw him in rather than Stardust.

Also, while re-watching Holmes for the 5 millionth time, I actually did randomly chat up my partner in RPS crime and go "IS IT JUST ME OR ARE MARKY'S HANDS FUCKING TINY?"

Whenever I do random AU RPs (like I randomly shoved character pastiches of RDJ and Jude into The Prestige, WTF mate) or RPS RPs, I'm always feeling obligated to include Mark somehow since he's ridiculously talented, intelligent, and well spoken and people don't nearly gush over him as often as they should.

Heh, I noticed his hands in Stardust and on some of these pictures. They're really small, but I still like them, so slender and graceful. (Yay for watching Holmes countless times - I'm going to watch it again tonight! :D Yay for new fic-inspiration!)

I knooooooooooooow! :( My RPS partner in crime doesn't like him and it's driving me insane. She's okay with him as an actor, but she doesen't find him attractive and ignores my helpless Mark/Hans-squealing. I feel so aloooone, and it's even worse because some weird part of my brain has decided that Mark and Hans are perfect for each other. I still have to watch Rocknrolla, I just don't seem to get around to it. Not like I will be able to do anything else but drool at Mark's eyes, and hands, and VOICE, and everything. ;) And yay for corrupting more people! :D

I STILL HAVE NOT SEEN STARDUST. Even though I know many people who LOVE that movie. I have no idea why.

The only movie I've seen him in actually is RocknRolla. And MMMM. I need to watch that movie again, really.

He's completely the opposite from my usual type of man, I tend to like them much more feminine but MMMM DO I FIND HIM ATTRACTIVE.

Stardust looks worth viewing for him alone...

You have to watch it ASAP! It's a wonderful movie, Mark is incredible, and Robert De Niro cracks me up so much. ^^

I still need to watch RocknRolla. I have quite a few movies with Mark here which I haven't got around to watching yet. RocknRolla, Tristan + Isolde, The Long Firm, Sunshine ...

I'm not at all into feminine men, I like them manly. ^^ He has such gorgeous features, and he has beautiful eyes and hands, and he is tall, and he has a deep, pleasant voice with a wonderful English accent ... he hits all my buttons. ;) And yes, in Stardust he is even better than in anything else. ^^

Nobody expects you to choose between Schellchen and Mark - because I know Mark would lose. (No problem, because I'd take Mark over Schellchen any time. ^^) And he is incredibly hot in Body of Lies - designer suits, hair, stubble, and an Arabic accent. Oh, yeah, and he's SMOKING!!!! With these gorgeous, perfect, beautiful hands of his. Smoking. I died. Several times. You need to see this movie, and RocknRolla, because he's just plainly awesome in that one. In both of them. Love that guy so much! :D

I think more movies should feature Robert De Niro in drag. ;) It would have made Avatar a better movie, definitely. ^^ And it's not like the plot could get any worse.

Heh, true, although I didn't find Mark all that hot in Good. I mean, sure, he was hot, but not as hot as in most of his other movies. Maybe because I was disappointed that he was playing a Nazi and NOT wearing a uniform. That's just plainly mean to the fangirls. *grumble*

Other movies that haven't been mentioned here are "Low Winter Sun" and "Superstition" Both have Mark in quite large roles. The first he plays a policeman, the second he is a lawyer. Both worth a look. But if you have a hairpiece fetish he plays both with his natural shaved head.(Sorry)
