He certainly is a babe, but in this particular movie he is such an elegant, seductive, and brilliant babe that he takes my breath away.
I love his cat-like grace as Hani and the way he uses his two fingers to slap people, tap on windows, etc. It is a very "to the manor born and accustomed to being treated as royalty" way of gesturing. And he doesn't just say the words "my dear," he purrs them.
And in so many reviews, he is called a baddie in this film, when that couldn't be further from the truth. He is the hero as far as I am concerned. I mean anyone who shows up with the cavalry two seconds before your head is cut off is MY HERO. Gee I have so much more to say about him. And I will.
Hi to all the rest of you Mark fans. He is such a rare and undiscovered gem, at least to American audiences. I mean he doesn't even appear on the posters of Stardust even though he was the whole movie!
