Well, the good news it: you might enjoy it even if you don't like Tarantino's other movies. I actually know a few IB-fans who didn't like Tarantino before this movie. There's less graphic violence and blood (although there is some), and although it IS a Tarantino movie, it's not a typical Tarantino movie. It's not like Pulp Fiction or Reservoir Dogs, if only because the setting is so different. Also, while Tarantino always has great actors in his movies, the actors outdid themselves in IB. Everything you probably heard about Christoph Waltz is true, times ten-thousand. ;) And he's not the only one.

Something contemporary ... Huh, there's a lot of gorgeous English 19th century poetry. They might enjoy that. Okay, most of those I have in mind are actually early 19th century, so not really contemporary either. Damn it.

Mhm, why does my uni not offer a seminar about "Late 19th century English literature and its relevance for Victorian fanfiction"? Uni is really useless. ;)

The only reason I'm still alive is because I sleep half the day. As you say, conversation gets so much better after 3am. :D
