Hear, hear. I couldn't agree with you more. I'd rather see him in ANY European film, period, than something stupid like "Salt".
The only problem with the Dieterchen smirk is that some people overuse it in their fanfics. There's one girl on fanfic.net that has him smirking in every paragraph!
