Waltz in general has a very good ear for French, I think. But--and I know we've discussed this before--no one does a better job than our dear old Christopher Lee.
Gusti made such a strong impression in IB that I think it's hard for ANYONE to picture him falling in love with a girl and out of love with the Gestapo. Nope, as I said, his het romances (at least those I've read), just like his romance with Landa, are all twisted and fucked up. :-D
