Angsting atm about whom they will cast at Stannis on the show. I have only seen parts of the TV series but I actually liked what I saw (mostly). Especially the cast was very very good, I think. They have already decided on at least some of the season two people (Brienne IIRC) and so far it looks pretty good as well. :)
I don't get the love for Daenerys. I always felt kind of indifferent towards her. I often tended to skip her parts when I read the books for the first time. ;) But then I love Jorah Mormont (who was - fortunately - played by Ian Glen in the TV series *drools*).
Stannis is easily the best king among all the contenders for the throne. I mean, while they are fighting each other he actually DOES something, he GOES north and SAVES the realm!
