THE MEME KNOWS THE TRUTH!! Yeah, Selyse should not get to be with annnnyone. (And this has just reminded me of this ridiculously in-depth Stannis/Davos backstory fic I was plotting on my way home - which I doubt I will ever have time to write - in which Stannis tells Davos of his intention of marrying Selyse. Davos is, of course, sensible of the fact that this is a bad idea. Stannis does not listen. Davos agrees to support him no matter what and go to the wedding because, well, he's Davos.) Selyse would so have to be dead for Stannis to consider remarrying. :3 There is NO WAY Davos would do that to Stannis. The only way Davos/Renly could ever happen would be if they met first but, in canon, Renly would be a kid then so it's utterly implausible.
