There are so many things I love about them, and I tried to put all of that into this fic, and I'm so glad that you noticed pretty much all of it. It really IS incredible how we pretty much see this pairing the same way.
I just like the Bastard of Nightsong being on the Kingsguard. And of course people would grumble and complain, and of course Jon would mind (while I imagine Rolland as the kind of guy who'd think it's hilarious).
