I've never really gone seeking out Bond fic, just because other things were always occupying my mind more, and I haven't even actually *seen* the new one, but I was like, hey, Linn! Linnfic! Whee!
And it was good. Surprise. :) Very good! Very hot. And it worked really well - I mean, like, it makes total sense that this is something Bond could want and need and do, but at the same time i think it would be really easy to turn it into an awkward stereotype of 'in charge outside the bedroom, submissive inside the bedroom', and you *didn't* do that here. I'm struggling to think of a good sort of example to pull to explain more what I mean, but I guess in the end it's more of an overall feel that either works or doesn't, and yours worked.
I really like the ending too. Is it weird to say it's awfully cute of him to get excited over warm blood? (When it's not a vampire fic? :p) I'd love to see more!
