Er, NO. Don't watch the movie. In fact, if it weren't so vital to the plot, I'd almost advise you not to watch the pilot, lol. In any case, the movie is really, really different from how the show actually turned out. Pretty much has nothing to do with it, some of the characters are completely different, etc. Just get the show.
