What the hell is wrong with me?

Last week an idea popped up in my head, and I can't stop thinking about it. I was thinking about Hellstrom's background. So far I always thought that he grew up without a father, because he's too awesome to have one. ;) And it only made sense that his father, as a young man in the 1910s, died during WW1, when Hellstrom was still fairly young. Until ... I suddenly realised that, age-wise, Landa could be his father. Usually I just thought of Hellstrom as "the son Landa never had", but who would have been the absolutely perfect son in Landa's eyes. But what if ... what if roughly 18-year-old Landa had an affair with Hellstrom's mother just before she got married to another man? Now, of course, you're going to tell me that it's fairly unlikely, but just bear with me.
The thing is - I’d still ship them in this version. Hellstrom would think that his mother's husband was his father, and Landa would only suspect that Hellstrom might be his son. And I don’t think that would keep Landa from doing him if he wants to. So, yes, what the hell is wrong with me that I want to turn my OTP into an incest pairing? Am  I the only one who finds this thought fascinating? (Probably yes. ;))

I haven’t only been speculating about more Landa/Hellstrom-fics I want to write, though, I’ve also finally written the Christoph/Eli-ficlet I promised wickedground . It’s short, drafty, and generally crappy, but she’s going to kill me if I don’t post something. Should be posted later tonight (I know, technically that will be Wednesday and not Tuesday, but please do forgive me ^^).

And, oh my God, my wrist doesn't hurt! For the first time in four months, IT DOES NOT HURT! Let's just hope it will stay that way  ...

Right, I forgot the basic rule of the internet - if you think something is hot, somebody else will agree with you. ^^ This is good. Because now I can spam you with ideas about this. I have so many ideas that I wouldn't know where to start. And I can't figure out how Landa (after fucking Hellstrom) could tell him he's his father and a) not cause stupid Star Wars jokes and b) not have Hellstrom kill him. ;)

Mhm, that would make sense of course. It's a good idea. The problem is only, if Landa makes only subtle remarks, Hellstrom would simply assume that Landa is joking around, because he'd never think that Landa, knowing that he's Dieter's father, would have slept with him. Landa would have to be halfway unambigous about this, or else Hellstrom would ignore the comments as the usual mindfuckery. Unless Landa makes him so curious that, I don't know, Hellstrom goes and asks his mother if she knows Landa.

Painless for the moment. It's still extremely sensitive and I have to be very careful. I'm so scared the pain will be back.

As a rule of thumb I usually think that Hellstrom was born in 1910 (roughly), so in my version he knew his father when he was really small, but he hardly remembers him. I mean, if his father died right away in 1914, Hellstrom was 4 years old, so as an adult his memories of his father are probably rather vague. And while I think that he has some sort of weird hero worship for his father who died in the war, fighting for his country, blabla, it's still a rather distant feeling, because this father is a stranger he never really got to know.

Yay for incest, or at least kinky incest games! Right now I feel like writing several fics using different versions of that idea. ;)

You know, when I think about Hellstrom's father, the only man I can picture is Mads Mikkelsen xD I believe they bear some resemblance IRL, but this particular shot made me gasp. Like, I KNOW WHO'S YOUR DADDY!!111 No, really.

For me, Hellstrom's father is a very boring guy, who looks boring, is boring, and not remarkable at all. Or else his father is Landa. ;)

Oh yes. In my fanon it's Hellstrom's mother who delivers all the lulz. She may look boring, too, but she's really really crazy. Like, batshit insane, deep down. I guess.

Hehe, that could be, yes. In my fanon they're both fairly boring. I don't know where Hellstrom gets his intelligence and general craziness. School or something. I guess that's why I like the idea of Landa being his father - because then Hellstrom being Hellstrom would make a loooot of sense.

So many of my pairings in other fandoms are incest pairings, and now I turn Landa/Hellstrom into one as well. WTF. I just love incest in fanfiction. For some reason it's incredibly hot. Also, if Landa were his father, I could make them a bit fluffier (not too much, of course) without being OOC.
I started to write a little ficlet using this idea, but in that one Landa isn't really his father; Hellstrom has just a huuuuuge daddy kink. But I will definitely write something about Landa being his father. ^^

As for them being fluffy and OOC - I guess that's one of my worst problems. You see, I've tried to bring myself to translating the fic I had told you about, but the characterization seems so poor! D: In fact it was my first one, and I felt so bad about it that I wrote another one, where Hellstrom is in character and all. *breaks down in despair* Only the pairing is different.

So I guess I'll try to write something incestuous about Dieter and his MadsMikkelsen!Dad instead. Translating your old fics you don't even like is such a disgrace. D:

I know what you mean; it's always difficult to go back to things you've written before. I usually cringe as well when I read my old stuff. Maybe you could translate and edit it at the same time.
Of course, I'd LOVE you forever if you write a fic about Dieter and his hot Daddy. If you write it in English, that is. :P
