Blabla update

I'm an idiot. I just managed to delete all my personal messages on LJ. I didn't mean to do it, it was an accident/me being stupid. This is what happens when I spend weeks doing nothing even remotely intelligent. My brain is officialy mush.

As I already mentioned a month ago, I'm going to Hamburg tomorrow for the rest of the week, I'll be back home Sunday evening. Then again, considering how much I've neglected you all, I doubt that anyone will notice my absence. I might have internet there, but I don't know for sure. I finally replied to the dozens of e-mails and comments in my postbox that I failed to reply to in the past two weeks or so. Again, my apologies for the delay. I wasn't really in the mood for big discussions. Still am not, tbh. But everything's replied to now, yay.

I should stop watching football. Apparently every team I support even in the slightest ends up losing horribly. Maybe I should start pretending to support the teams I actually hate? I don't know. Good thing I'm not really superstitious. But this is getting really frustrating. *sigh*

"Gute Fahrt" is fine. :D You could also say "Gute Reise". They're both fine.

I'm sure you'll do great for your exam! :D

"gay" as in homosexual, I suppose, not as in "happy"? ;) That would be "schwul".

It's a common mistake. Just remember that "sh" just doesn't exist in German (unless there are some weird exceptions I can't think of right now). If you want the "sh"-sound, it's pretty much always written "sch".

(not trying to start an conversation but just saying: The only other girl in my corridor randomly started talking about German football last week, and she was very impressed with my VAST knowledge of german players (thanks to you) XD Anyway, she loves Frings and her friend in Berlin is an old friend of Ötzil so she got to meet him :D)

I kinda AM in full fangirl-mode. But it's more the passive "I watch stuff and squee"-mode, than the "I have wannabe intelligent discussions with other people and write fic"-mode. I hardly even read fic at the moment. It's really weird.

I'm not really a one-club-person. I can't wrap my head around supporting one team and one team only, so I like several. ;) And I do like Schalke quite a bit, even if Neuer is probably the main reason for that.

For the last few weeks, whenever Schalke or Werder lost, I was like, "well, tomorrow the other one will win" ... except they both sucked majorly. ;) I probably won't get around to watching the game on Saturday, I'm afraid, even though I'll actually be in Hamburg. But I'll hope anyway. ^^


Yep, finally. I wrote the entry before the match. I'm a lot happier now, tbh. I felt so bad for Neuer after that desaster on Sunday.

Being European I refuse to acknowledge your football as any kind of football. ;) But I'm glad you agree at least that ours is better. I really never got the point of American Football, it just lacks elegance. There's a reason they call out football the beautiful game. ;)
