Procrastination

I should be working on my presentation about multilingualism in England in the Middle Ages. Instead, I am successfully procrastinating. While procrastinating I found two pictures that are so awesome that each of them alone would be worth a whole post.



Benni Höwedes and Christoph Moritz from Schalke 04. I found this on the Schalke homepage ... and just as I thought it couldn't possibly get any better than this gorgeous slashy pic I read the description: "Training einmal anders: Benedikt Höwedes und Christoph Moritz ringen freundschaftlich im griechisch-römischen Stil", roughly translated "A different kind of training: Benedikt Höwedes and Christoph Moritz during a friendly wrestling in Greco-Roman style." Yeah. Do I really need to comment on this?

The second picture I stole from wb_deep_play , who found it I-don't-know-where. But it breaks my brain.


Just look at him! The dynamic pose! The reddened eyes! That "I'm gonna kill you if you try to fuck with me"-look! He looks like a predator about to tear out your throat! The general badassery exuded by both his body and his face! And yet ... he's wearing purple and a rather silly looking cap, and his hair is sticking out and looking all fluffy and it shouldn't be possible to be so BADASS while looking like that. Or rather, with that badass look on your face you should be wearing black leather or something, but not this. It's epic. My already considerable Frings fangirling just increased even more just because of this picture. It's just so very him. So BAMFy he can wear the most stupid shit and still be cooler than you and I can ever dream of being.

*watches in embarrassed confusion as nobody shares her enthusiasm*

Purple-Yellow-IDEKcap!Frings cracks me up, but as you say: he still looks bad ass :D

btw, that presentation about multilingualism in England in the Middle Ages? Sounds interesting!(but not very thrilling compared to slash and silly!cap!Frings)

This is the magic of Torsten Frings. He looks badass in everything. It's just his inner badassery, it can't be hidden or suppressed by anything, not even purple and yellow and hilarious caps.

It is very interesting. But I'm done reading the interesting texts and now I have to prepare my own presentation, and that's the boring part ... so slash and silly-cap!Frings won. But it's a cool subject, and the seminar in general is awesome. I adore the two professors who are teaching it. <3
So, but I really need sleep now. Talk to you tomorrow or so, k? :)

As for his badassness -- I think it would shine trough no matter what he's wearing. I mean, if that 'd be a pink tutu with a sparkly princess crown atop -- it'll be still there. (I know it quite a stretch to imagine him in such silly outfits -- but it's worth it;)

Heh, I was so sure you wouldn't care about the other guys. ;) Although I still think the comment is hilarious, and I so hope that whoever wrote that on the Schalke homepage did it on purpose.

You should be glad that my photoshop skills are limited to "add a text to a picture", or else you'd have to look at tutu!Frings now. Fortunately he himself provides us occasionally with silly outfits, so we don't have to do that for him.
Did I ever tell you how much I like the bunny tattoo!icon? Where did that idea come from?

LOL, yes, it's hard to think of anyone else. I don't care about Moritz and Höwedes (though I do really like Schalke, unlike most other Werder fans), but that picture was just too good not to post. :)
