Jon is a space pirate and Renly is the son of some rich guy and he gets into trouble and Jon saves him. Jon is kind of like Mal Reynolds in my head right now, IDEK. oO

Prompt: 2 has a relationship with 4, but secretly wants 9. 4 knows this, and breaks up with 2 to go pursue 6, who's with 5. 9 is with 8, however, who's cheating on 9 with 10. 10 finds out, and cheats with 13, who is, in turn, cheating on 7. 2 pursues 9, who just broke up with 8, who's now after 4. 2 gives up on this, and ends up with 1, while 4 finally ends up with 7. Insert appropriate names and explain/outline/snark authorially.
Jon has a relationship with Selyse [WHY???], but secretly wants Stannis [obviously]. Selyse knows this, and breaks up with Jon to go pursue Lyanna, who's with Sansa [lesbian incestuous necrophilia, that's a new one]. Stannis is with Aeron [drinking salt water together], however, who's cheating on Stannis with Davos [DAVOS WOULD NEVER DO SUCH A THING]. Davos finds out, and cheats with Renly [NO WAY HE WOULD NOT DO THAT TO STANNIS], who is, in turn, cheating on Victarion. Jon pursues Stannis [YES PLEASE THIS IS WHERE THE STORY SHOULD END], who just broke up with Aeron, who's now after Selyse [again, why?]. Jon gives up on this, and ends up with Tywin [oO], while Selyse finally ends up with Victarion [at least Victarion wouldn't care that she's frigid ... ohgods ...].

OCs suck 95% of the time. Genderbend annoys me. AUs can be awesome if they change small aspects of the storyline, but I don't like complete AUs (stuff like "ASOIAF characters in high school" ... though some scenarios can be interesting, I love "ASOIAF during the Prohibition" ;)).

Lyanna having been in love with Stannis is about the only thing that could explain why Robert hates Stannis so much, but I don't think Lyanna and Stannis even met in canon.

Asha/Roose punishment!fic. o_0 I like this a lot (and the chubby chaser!Roose/Robert is hilarious. Robert doesn't get enough fanfic action, does he?). Don't even have to mention a certain other ship that popped up.

Robert gets neglected. Maybe people think that he gets so much action in canon that he doesn't need fanfic. But I so ship Roose/every fat guy in Westeros. He and Stannis would just not work, I'm afraid. And I don't even know why I find Roose/Asha so hot.

Renly is Westeros' one true cosplayer. "So, who are you?" - "Duh, I'm playing the king of Westeros!" Stannis: *not amused*

For some reason I really don't like Euron/Asha (while I'd kill for some good, rather consensual Victarion/Asha fic, I'd love it), but Roose/Asha would be interesting. Especially if it's somewhat consensual, power struggle inclusive, which is a lot more interesting than just rape. Rape fics are fairly boring most of the time.

So if someone cosplays Renly, it's a cosplay within a cosplay. Very meta.

That's the thing with writing that pairing - there's no way that it would simple rape with Asha. I'm actually writing a long-overdue fill for an LJ friend where Asha kills the Boltons and, as usual, it degraded into something more than that. Now I am motivated to revisit/finish. It would be sort of similar with Victarion - more complex.

I like this Renly concept. It's kind of exhausting. Just like Renly.

Asha and the Boltons sound like fun, one way or another.
I think Asha and Victarion would be really awkward in the beginning (like that part in AFFC where he thinks she wants to be his queen), and they'd be somewhat embarrassed about the whole thing, but end up enjoying themselves quite a bit.

"Exhausting" is a very good word to describe Renly.

There is NO WAY Davos would do that to Stannis. The only way Davos/Renly could ever happen would be if they met first but, in canon, Renly would be a kid then so it's utterly implausible.
