Dear Chocolate Box writer,

Thank you for writing for me and having a look at this letter. My letters always get pretty long, but I prefer listing a whole lot of stuff in the hope that my writer likes some of the things I mentioned, rather than only listing two prompts they might hate. Obviously I don't expect you to include every single thing I mention in this letter. I've got some general likes and dislikes listed - those are the important bits, really. They're followed by a list of kinks I like, should you feel inclined to write porn, and some fandom-specific prompts, but if those don't work for you - as long as you include a thing or two that I like and don't include my DNWs, I'm sure I will love whatever you write for me. :D

As a general rule, I enjoy all ratings; I like darker, angstier fic and more light-hearted stories, although neither completely conflictless fluff nor completely bleak darkfic without a ray of hope are quite my thing. I'm always happy about porn, but it's not a must. I like shorter fics and plotty longfic. The fandoms are listed alphabetically. The length of the fandom-specific sections doesn't indicate an order of preference; I just had more ideas and prompts for some of them.

Things I like to read about:

• first time/getting together: slow burn, pining, UST finally getting resolved, but also antagonistic hate sex or casual hookups that are only later followed by feelings (emotional pining while already having sex is great)
• developing relationships: relationship conflicts after the characters got together, trying to figure out how to make things work, some things maybe not working at first, temporary breakups, basically anything that doesn't assume that first time sex -> perfect relationship
• porn, especially porn with feelings/porn that says something about their relationship (see list below for kinks I like)
• enemies to lovers, partners to lovers
• reluctant allies grudgingly starting to like each other
• non-verbal expressions of affection
• familiarity, intimacy, characters getting to know each other better (their habits, their hangups etc.)
• pre-canon/background stories, first meetings/first impressions (especially if we didn't see those in canon)
• post-canon fic
• canon divergence

• moral dilemmas, characters having to question/go against their principles

• I like darker elements (violence, murder, noncon/dubcon, manipulation, depression, whatever fits your plot and isn't on my DNW list), but I'd prefer a happy or semi-happy ending. Feel free to make me bawl my eyes out, but please cheer me up again afterwards.

Do Not Wants:

• character death of characters I like (random side characters or antagonists dying is fine)
• serious illnesses, permanent injuries (blood and wounds that will heal again are fine)
• completely tragic/bleak endings
• animal death/cruelty
• genderbend of any kind, mpreg, A/B/O, characters being werewolves/vampires/anything than what they are in canon
• non-canon gender identities/sexual orientations, except for writing characters as gay or bi
• unrequested ships (including canon ships)

Blitz (2011)
Tom Brant/Porter Nash
Fic

I adore the relationship between Nash and Brant, the banter and dickishness, but there's also a lot of respect and trust, and it's there pretty much from the start (I love how Brant just shows up at Nash's door to tell him about all his problems basically a day after they met). I'd love to see anything that explores how their relationship develops further after the movie or something exploring what was going on between them during the movie. 

Prompts:

• casefic, especially if they use somewhat unconventional methods again
• slow burn getting together fic in which they work together for ages and neither of them wants to make the first step (Nash because he knows better than to hit on his apparently straight macho coworker, Brant because he's very uncomfortable and in denial about his feelings/attraction)
• or conversely: rough hookups they never talk about and pretend didn't happen, because they just work together, it's not like there are any feelings involved, right?
• internalised homophobia and masculinity issues on Brant's part, especially contrasted with how comfortable Nash is with his sexuality (I'm fine both with Brant being so completely in denial he's never slept with a man before, or just deeply closeted and hooking up with men in secret and horrified by the very idea of anyone who knows him ever finding out he's gay)
• jealousy: maybe Nash starts seeing someone and that's the kick in the ass Brant needs (either to finally make the first step, or to admit that their hookups meant more than he liked to admit); I'd also love to see the other side of this - Nash maybe wondering why he'd much rather have his alcoholic repressed asshole coworker than a perfectly nice, respectable, out boyfriend
• anything dealing with how fucked up they both are: Brant's alcoholism, his blackouts, both their violent streaks ...
• more about their past: are they still in touch with their families? any nice, friendly exes of Nash's who might show up on the doorstep and wonder what the hell he's doing with this macho asshole? any unsolved old cases being re-opened? old enemies wanting revenge?
• for porn: I'm open to anything, but one idea I'd love to see would be Nash as a dominant bottom who loves telling Brant exactly how to fuck him. If you want to go kinkier with this - Brant getting off on Nash ordering him around, humiliating dirty talk about how Brant is just a dumb brute who's not good for anything but fucking Nash, Nash putting a collar on him ... But, again, totally optional, if you want to write fluffier, gentler sex, I have no objections to that. :)

Deus Ex
Adam Jensen/Jim Miller, Adam Jensen/Jim Miller & David Sarif, Adam Jensen/Jim Miller/Francis Pritchard

Note:

I've played Human Revolution and Mankind Divided and I've read Black Light. I don't mind spoilers for any of the other games or comics or whatever else there is, but I'd prefer not to get a fic that requires me to be familiar with those parts of canon.

Adam's injuries prior to getting his augs are obviously exempt from my "no permanent injuries" DNW. However, I don't want anyone else to get their limbs ripped off or the like, and I don't want Adam's augs to get permanently disabled or destroyed.

I love Adam so much: that he's a genuinely good guy who wants to help people, that he's snarky and cheeky and irreverent, that (at least post-augs) he's pretty withdrawn and emotionally unavailable and has all these walls built around himself (and I really want someone to get past them). I like angst and suffering and Adam is a well of suffering, and I enjoy it while simultaneously wanting nice things to happen to him (after lots of beautiful suffering). As for Miller, I love that he has a temper and is impatient and often isn't particularly nice, but underneath that gruffness he cares about doing the right thing and he cares about his men. Similar with Pritchard: he's such a prickly jerk, but at the same time he's always ready to drop anything to help Adam. I'm also happy for any other TF29 or SI characters to appear in the story.

Adam Jensen/Jim Miller

• the direct aftermath of London: I was disappointed that there wasn't another conversation between them at the end of the game, but that's what fic is for. Miller wanting to know how Adam got the antidote, demanding a justification for disobeying his orders, maybe some desperate you're-not-dead sex or just a sharp increase in UST they're both trying to ignore ...
• generally a lot of things happen in game that aren't talked about that I'd love for them to have a conversation about some day: like the time Adam broke into Miller's place, or how Adam got his augs (to what extent does Miller know what happened and just how involuntary that was?)
• I love there being some tension and arguments and disagreements between them even once they do trust each other, simply because they're not the easiest people to get along with and horribly stubborn
• the aftermath of however and whenever they hook up for the first time (and of course the first time itself!): does Miller try to put a stop to it because he's Adam's boss? does Adam because he thinks he's not good (enough) for Miller? do they hook up regularly after missions and never talk about it? do they slowly fall in love while thinking all they can have is this friends with benefits arrangement?
• casefic, working together either for TF29 or Adam's saving-the-world schemes: making plans, Miller as sniper support while Adam sneaks in somewhere, rescuing each other, patching each other up, stuck in difficult situations together ...
• fun with CASIE! Maybe Miller wants Adam to use it on him so he knows what it feels like (and can stop being paranoid about it, or worrying that another Aug could use it on him without him noticing), and it has some ... side effects. Maybe Miller enjoys getting pheromone-dosed until his brain short-circuits while they have sex.
• touch-starved Adam who thinks nobody could ever want him the way he is (except maybe someone with an Aug fetish, and he doesn't want to be someone's shiny Aug sex toy); Adam just melting when someone touches him; Adam who doesn't enjoy jerking off anymore with his new hands and is very blue-balled
• *handwave* there's totally something about that Sentinel health aug that does away with that pesky refractory period, right?
• give me all the angst, the nightmares, the PTSD, the trust issues - for both of them. All the issues Adam still has with his body and with what was done to him, all the conflicted feelings he has about that and refuses to deal with. The fact that pretty much his entire life from before (friends, job, dog :((, girlfriend etc.) is gone for good. But I'm also here for some angst for Jim: he almost died, he found out there's a big evil conspiracy, he went through a nasty divorce after a decade of marriage, his daughter is very sick ... I like them hurting, and I like them trying in their own, possibly awkward, ways to be there for each other.
• porn! Whether it's an ill-advised hookup early on, or finally fucking after ages of UST and denial, or even trying out something new in an established relationship ... I am incredibly into subby Adam and Miller taking charge. Adam being eager to please, Adam desperately wanting someone to touch his actual skin (and much preferring to blow people than to jerk them off). Maybe Miller expected him to be repressed about guys and is surprised when Adam isn't? Or maybe Adam actually has fairly little experience with men, that works for me too.
• tropey tropes I like for them: undercover as a couple (whether they're infiltrating some skeevy place for sugar daddies with Aug hookers/sex slaves or a pro-Aug organisation and are posing as a happily married couple) or, hear me out, marriage of convenience (maybe some new anti-Aug law is passed and a non-Aug spouse is one of the only ways to avoid the new rules and harassment, so Miller offers just to keep Adam safe and then they have to live together and it's terribly awkward because they're both in denial about how into each other they are)
• stealing this verbatim from someone else's letter (I really hope that person doesn't mind), but it's perfect and I want it, too: someone being dehumanizing to Adam in front of Miller, either in a situation where Miller can actually do something about it or one where they both just have to take it. People talking about and treating Adam like an object, being objectifying, stuff like that.
• anything involving Miller's family: they talk about his daughter, or Adam somehow meets the kids and/or the ex, or there's a threat to Miller's family and he sends Adam to save/protect them ... I'm very here for Miller trusting Adam with his family and for Adam interacting with Neil and the kids.
• infidelity! what if Jim's marriage wasn't in complete shambles yet (but slowly getting there) by the time MD happens, but he still ends up falling in love with Adam? Guilty pining and Adam being sure he and Jim are never happening (and anyway he shouldn't want Jim to leave his family, that's selfish) and UST eventually leading to spectacular bad idea sex they both feel awful about afterwards. :D

Adam Jensen/Jim Miller/Francis Pritchard

I mostly see this happening post-MD, maybe because Adam calls Pritchard for help with something. A lot of set-ups for the eventual OT3/threesome could be interesting: maybe Adam has slept with them both once or twice and it's awkward because he wants them both and can't decide and feels greedy. Maybe Adam and Jim got together post-MD and Adam feels bad that he wants someone else even though he's happy with Jim (whether or not he's slept with Pritchard before). Maybe Adam and Jim were on the verge of getting together, but then Pritchard shows up and there's clearly some History there and suddenly Jim isn't so sure anymore if Adam really wants to be with him or not. Maybe Adam has always had UST with both of them, but nothing ever happened, and it eventually explodes in a steaming hot threesome. 

I see this starting out as a V constellation - Jim and Frank are both into Adam, Adam is into both of them, and they're willing to put up with each other for his sake. But long term I'd like them to actually start caring about each other, too - I'd love to see how that happens.

• any getting together scenario (see my rambling above - TLDR: I'd love any possible version of events)
• first impressions - I can see Jim and Frank being a bit wary of each other at first and wondering why Adam trusts this guy so much, but I also think they could grow to respect each other.
• all the angst! Adam having feelings for them both and thinking it'd be dishonest to get with either of them while also pining for the other, Jim and/or Frank thinking that Adam clearly wants/loves the other guy more/is more serious about him and they're just the third wheel, any of them thinking that their threeway arrangement can't possibly last and sooner or later someone is getting dumped ... (note: I'm not into ~healthy poly discussions~; all three of them are fairly emotionally unavailable guys who aren't great at talking about their feelings, and I prefer small gestures, quiet moments of realisation, half-spoken sentences that carry a lot of meaning, slowly figuring things out etc. over them sitting down and having a long conversation to negotiate their relationship, because I don't enjoy reading that)
• Jim and Frank getting closer: bonding over video games or some other shared interest or over Adam being a reckless pain in the ass; stuck in a dangerous situation together without Adam around; working together to save Adam from a dangerous situation; something domestic while Adam is busy elsewhere and they realise that they've grown used to having each other around and enjoy it; the first time they have sex without Adam there (or even just the first time all three of them have sex and Jim and Frank actually do something with each other beyond briefly touching while they're both more focused on Adam) - I'd love to see this growing from a V arrangement mostly for Adam's sake to an actual OT3 where they all actually enjoy being together and wouldn't want it any different
• porn would be excellent, whether first time or established relationship. I like Jim and Frank topping Adam together (mostly because I really enjoy subby Adam) and taking care of him - whether they're working together or are trying to one-up each other. I see Frank as pretty switchy, so if you want to write something like Jim-fucking-Adam-fucking-Frank, I'd be so on board with that. I'd love to see any kinds of firsts, especially firsts between Jim and Frank (that could be fun from Adam's POV, if he's worried they don't actually like each other, and sees them slowly growing closer - first time he sees them kiss, or one blow the other, or shower together ...). Spitroasting, DP, one of them holding Adam down/holding his mouth open while the other fucks him, one of them fucking him after the other did and commenting on how wet and messy he is ... knock yourself out with all the beautiful things threesome porn can include. :D
• anything I've mentioned in the Jim/Adam section above is also welcome to show up here, btw. Including fun with CASIE, touch-starved Adam, tropey undercover adventures, meeting Jim's family (Frank would probably the biggest dick ever to Neil, but maybe surprisingly good with the kids) ...

Adam Jensen/Jim Miller & David Sarif

However you bring them together, I would love to see Miller and Sarif meet. Maybe Sarif comes in to consult on a case. Maybe there's an issue with Adam's augs and he needs Sarif's help to fix them. Maybe Adam ropes Sarif into designing some augs for Jim's daughter. And depending on the circumstances, Jim might have a higher or lower opinion of Sarif when they meet ...

• I'd love to see the weird, messed up relationship Adam and Sarif have from Jim's POV: that also might be a good way to have Jim find out that Adam didn't get his augs voluntarily ...
• how does Sarif feel about Adam banging his new boss? (I can totally buy some one-sided Sarif->Adam attraction (though not love) and possibly related jealousy, but I'd also be on board with a verse in which Adam and Sarif fucked once in a very bad idea attempt on Adam's part to work out some of his fucked up feelings about his whole my-boss-gave-me-a-fuckton-of-unnecessary-unwanted-augs issues.)
• Sarif's complete lack of boundaries cracks me up and is always fun, especially if they all have to work together in some way
• considering how stylish both Sarif and Miller are, I will take any excuse to get them talking about clothes. Like shopping for undercover outfits - what, Sarif knows all about how to dress as a rich ostentatious businessman with a matching pet aug, Miller should really listen to his advice ... yes, JIm, that outfit definitely needs more gold ... :D

Corvo Attano/Emily Kaldwin

Note:

I'm up for either low chaos or high chaos, or anything in between - though I really like that even the low chaos decisions are often pretty ruthless and awful, so I'm not really looking for either of them being completely saintly and sweet. I do like them as a badass power couple that'll do what's necessary without being over the top evil about it, but again, I'm happy to read different interpretations. :) Equally happy with either of them as the DH2 protagonist, if you write fic set after that. Or with an AU in which they somehow get up to everything in DH2 together.

Since this is my only het request, here's a het-specific DNW: please no femdom or pegging. I also don't particularly enjoy reading about cunnilingus - mentions of it are fine, but I'd rather not have it be the main event or described in lengthy detail. And I hate the word "folds". Underage is perfectly fine down to about 15.

Prompts:

• getting together fic: I figure Emily would have to initiate it and Corvo would resist for a long time before he gives in. But when exactly does all that happen and under what circumstances? Does she kiss him when she's a teenager and just figuring out what she wants? Does she repress or try to ignore it for years? Do they maybe only get together post-DH2 after whichever one of them almost lost the other and suddenly all that "we shouldn't because we're related" stuff doesn't seem as important anymore?
• UST and build-up: they want each other, they know they want each other, but they can't/won't do anything about it yet and the tension is killing them ... I love lots of almosts - almost-kisses, staying too close for too long, watching each other bathe or dress for a few moments too long instead of walking away, lingering touches past what's entirely appropriate ... 
• no cross-gen incest ship without lots of delicious angst. :D especially on his part (and even more especially if you have him falling for her while she's still fairly young), but just as much on hers. I'm also up for some what-would-Jessamine-say angst, but I absolutely don't want Corvo being into Emily because she reminds him of her mother, or thinking about how similar they look while they have sex. Replacement goldfish vibes squick me hard.
• when exactly did she find out (for sure) that he's her father? I'd love to see some conversation(s) about that. For the extra angsty route ... maybe she only finds out for sure after she's started having every dirty thought imaginable about him, and she kept telling herself it's okay because he's "only" her father figure and not actually her father ... 
• any conversations about the Outsider mark - I'd love to see just how much Emily knows when about her father's abilities (and where he got them from), if she suspects anything, or post-DH2 they could commiserate about the Outsider's, er, eccentricities. Or maybe Emily can confront him about the fact that he kept something so big and important secret from her.
• if you want to write something plotty: I love political scheming - court intrigues, the two of them working to get rid of political enemies (whether by scheming or murder), rebuilding Dunwall after DH2 ...
• vaguely related: I love loyalty kink and both of them being willing to do anything for each other (and maybe sometimes crossing lines and doing things they never thought they'd do for each other)
• fights and sparring and hurt/comfort are great, whether it's Corvo saving a younger Emily or them sparring together or fighting back-to-back when she's a bit older - adrenaline rushes, too much physical contact that bleeds over into something else, patching each other up because they don't trust anyone more with that than each other ...
• for porn: with an age difference like this (especially if he's her first), I'm really into Emily being both enthusiastic and excited and impatient, and having some diffuse ideas of what she wants, while also being inexperienced and not knowing all the things two people could get up to in bed. And Corvo being just as much into her and wanting to make it good for her but also being hesitant until she makes it clear that she expects him to show her what he likes, too. 
• anal so he can't get her pregnant? vaginal even though they feel like they really shouldn't, but they want it too much to be sensible (and maybe they both even get off a little on the danger - I'm not into actual pregnancy or pregnancy scares, though)? Lots of everything else while they try to resist fucking each other's brains out - telling themselves it doesn't count as long as there's no actual penetration? sex in inappropriate places like her very royal office or her throne when there's nobody around? wall sex wall sex wall sex inappropriate use of Outsider powers? choking? wrestling and the winner gets to be on top?
• actual (guilty) kinking on the incest and on their physical resemblance - sex in front of mirrors, Emily calling him "father" in bed ...
• Corvo rejects her because he feels like he has to, so she starts sleeping with men who look like him until he snaps (because he's jealous, or because they don't know how to treat her right ...). Or maybe there was no rejection and she just sleeps with men who look like him until he can take a hint. [I just realised this may seem contradictory since I said above that I don't like replacement goldfish vibes, so to be clearer: if I ship A/B, I'm okay with A sleeping with other people because those people remind them of B; I'm not okay with A and B having sex while one of them thinks about C.]

Dragon Age
Male Hawke/Cullen Rutherford, Dorian Pavus & Halward Pavus

Note:

 

I strongly prefer purple-to-red mage Hawke, although I'm not really fond of purple Hawke being written as a not very bright loser with foot-in-mouth syndrom; to me he always comes across as a smart guy who's snarky on purpose (as a self-defence mechanism and because it keeps him from yelling at people). And I'm very attached to default Hawke's looks (and name). I mostly ship Hawke/Cullen as a hookup/affair rather than a long-term romance; my endgame OTP for Hawke is with Fenris (and I also love Anders, so please no Anders bashing). I like Cullen being a guilt- and PTSD-ridden mess of issues. I have a hard time buying well-adjusted perfect boyfriend Cullen after everything he's been through. My other endgame OTP is Cullen/Dorian and while I obviously don't expect you to include that, I don't want to read about either of them getting together long term with anyone else.

I'm not particularly interested in the Warden or the Inquisitor playing a big role in the fic. I'd rather just read about NPCs (and Hawke).

Male Hawke/Cullen Rutherford

• not looking for a grand romance here, just a one-night-stand or the occasional hook-ups in Kirkwall before Hawke settles down with someone else. Maybe he decides to seduce the pretty boy Templar because it'd be fun. Maybe the idea of seducing Carver's superior cracks him up. Maybe they work together to track down some blood mage and argue the entire time and end up in bed together afterwards. Or making out in a dark Kirkwall alley. Maybe Hawke, ah, persuades Cullen not to tell anyone he's a mage (or tries to, unsuccessfully).
• I like Cullen being pretty much terrified of mages since Kinloch Hold, so maybe the only way he can sleep with Hawke is by domming the hell out of him. Maybe it makes him feel like he's in control. Maybe he wants to take out all his anger issues on that damn apostate that doesn't know his place. (Hawke either just thinks it's in good fun, or he's having a horrible time because his mother died/his brother is an asshole/his Fenris dumped him/he has to save everyone and is tired of it, so he lets Cullen hurt him as a distraction).
• related, I also like them hooking up before Cullen knew Hawke was a mage and Cullen feeling horribly betrayed when he finds out
• something set right after the ending of DA2: if you support the mages, the other Templars just let you go, but I'd totally be up for Hawke and Cullen having a bit more of a conversation about that, or maybe Cullen deciding to help Hawke & co get away somehow. Or maybe they meet again a short time after that.
• while I don't really want to read about them hooking up in DAI (because I'd hope Hawke and Fenris would have their shit together by then), I'd totally be okay with fic set during DAI that deals with the fallout of them having had a Thing in Kirkwall. No leaving Hawke (or Alistair) in the Fade please.

Dorian Pavus & Halward Pavus
I'm a sucker for difficult father-son relationships with lots of complicated, painful feelings. What fascinates me about their relationship is that - despite the absolutely horrifying shit Halward tried to do to Dorian, I'm not trying to downplay that - they still love each other and care about each other. Dorian still calls his father "a good man" and Halward does seem genuinely interested in reconciling, even if he might well still think that he was doing the right thing to "help" Dorian. What makes their relationship so heartbreaking, to me, is precisely the fact that Dorian loved and admired and respected his father, that he got much of his goodness and his sense of morals from his father, and I'd love to see that explored more. 

 

I am not interested in fics that paint Halward as a cardboard villain or insist that Dorian should simply never talk to him again. I don't think their relationship will ever recover entirely from what Halward did, but I am interested in seeing them actually interact and trying to find some common ground again. I also don't want to read a fic that focuses on Halward's death, and I'm very interested in canon divergence fics in which he doesn't die during Trespasser so he and Dorian can actually spend more time around each other.

 

My OTP for Dorian is Cullen/Dorian and if you wanted to include that in any way, I'd be super happy (seeing Cullen and Halward interact would be interesting; I don't think Cullen would feel particularly forgiving if he ever found out about the blood magic thing). If you don't ship them, that's totally fine, too, but I'd rather not read about Dorian in a relationship with another canon character, though I'm fine with mentions of him sleeping around in Tevinter.

• I'd love to read a version of their conversation in Redcliffe, after the Inquisitor left them alone. What exactly did they talk about? Did Halward manage a semi-decent apology? Did Dorian manage to make him understand why he joined the Inquisition? Dorian mentions a couple of things afterwards in his conversation with the Inquisitor, but I'd love to get more details.
• and following up on that, since they tentatively reconciled, what did they agree on for the future? Do they write to each other in the following months? epistolary fic could be really great for this
• Dorian mentions in Trespasser that he saw his father a few times while he was in Tevinter (if they reconciled, of course). Like with the scene in Redcliffe, I'd love to see how those meetings went. Dorian coming home and getting involved in politics is what Halward wanted, even if Dorian probably made it damn clear that he's still not going to get married, not now or ever. I'd just love to see the awkwardness of those meetings - those attempts at rebuilding something that was pretty hopelessly broken by that attempted blood magic ritual and everything that preceded it.
• politics! I love political scheming. Dorian has a lot of his ideals from his father, so I can well see them being on the same wavelength politically in a lot of regards. Maybe they try to work together on some new law or whatever while their personal relationship is still horribly frayed - things like political discussions during which they almost forget how mad they are at each other, interspersed with angry sniping when they remember. :D
• feel free to bring up how Dorian's relationships with men fit into all this, whether it's Dorian/Cullen or Dorian banging one of his Lucerni buddies or Dorian still going to brothels every now and then ... Halward who still hates it and maybe tries to get Dorian to be more discreet, Dorian who makes a point of not being discreet just so his father won't get any ideas that Dorian might change his mind about marrying ...
• I always thought it was a pity that canon kills Halward off so quickly after Dorian returned home because that means less potential for awkward, complicated, messed up post-canon conversations! So, if you wanted to write me an AU in which Dorian gets started on his whole Lucerni business post-Trespasser while his father is still alive and kicking, that would be fascinating. Maybe Halward agrees with some of Dorian's ideas, but worries that he's too careless and might endanger himself. Maybe Halward tries to support him behind the scenes because he doubts Dorian wants his help. Maybe they very much disagree on some other things and argue a lot about those.
• one option for this: In canon Halward pretty obviously sends Dorian away during Trespasser to bring him to safety during whatever it was exactly that got Halward assassinated. So what if Dorian realised that trouble was brewing, refused to go south to attend the Exalted Council, and he and his father had to work together to deal with their political enemies?
• as the prompts above show, I'm mostly interested in fics set after the whole blood magic ritual incident. However, if you want to set part of the fic pre-canon - Dorian's childhood or teenage years, Dorian as a young man, Halward teaching him about magic or politics, moments when Dorian made him proud, moments when things started going to shit between them, anything set during the time when Halward had Dorian locked up at their home - I'd definitely be interested in that! I'd just rather not only get pre-canon moments in the fic.

 

Fallout: New Vegas
Caesar/Arcade Gannon, Lucius/Arcade Gannon, Caesar/Lucius, Caesar/Vulpes Inculta
Fic

I'm not entirely sure why I have such a craving for Legion fic because I don't even find them that much fun in-game, but maybe that's why I desperately need fic - because the game leaves so many questions open about them and so many gaps to be filled. That and I find characters who are horrible people entertaining. Feel free to go dark and fucked up with these assholes, that's what they're there for, although I'd enjoy it if there was a bit more to them than just doing everything for the evulz. We do get a good look at what goes on in Caesar's head in the game, but the same can hardly be said for Lucius or Vulpes, so I'd enjoy fic that gives them a bit more depth. (I really don't like secretly-not-so-bad Vulpes, though. I know that seems to be a thing in fandom, but it's not my kind of thing. Let him be horrid and evil. I do like not-necessarily-a-horrible-person-at-heart-just-devoted-to-a-horrible-system!Lucius, but not going-to-desert-the-Legion-first-chance-he-gets!Lucius.)

I'd also enjoy the hell out of some Legion worldbuilding. It doesn't even have to be focused solely in any one of these ships, although I would still like them to show up. I'd love to see more about growing up in the Legion, what life is like back in the Eastern territories, what everyday life is like, what the Mojave would look like if the Legion wins at the end of the game (Caesar wants his Rome - let him have it and show me what he does with it), expanding on worldviews, political/military discussions among the Legion higher-ups, to what extent people like Lucius or Vulpes believe all that Son of Mars stuff, things like education and language use (I'm always here for language geekery like which things they use Latin for and if maybe Latin becomes increasingly a lingua franca when you assimilate a bunch of tribes that speak different English dialects ...)

Especially the prompts involving Arcade stray darker than what I usually prefer and I'm totally fine with that, no happy ending required (and I certainly don't expect anyone to be in love for these ships). However, I'd still prefer if there was more to the fic than just unrelenting misery, and most of my DNWs like no character death and no mutilation etc. still apply - I don't want to read about Arcade's canon death, for example. Am totally okay with killing off Caesar, though, as long as you somehow get Lanius out of the way first so someone slightly less batshit like Lucius takes over.

Caesar/Arcade Gannon

• intellectual discussions slave!Arcade lets himself get drawn into because he can't resist an argument (and he does seem to have a kind of grudging, horrified respect for Caesar while also disapproving of him in every possible way) - Arcade occasionally enjoying their discussions and hating himself for it
• I find it fascinating that Caesar likes Arcade despite the fact that he seems to despise it whenever anyone disagrees with him, so I'd love to see how that happened
• moral dilemmas: some kind of character study about how Arcade feels about his choice to survive (instead of letting Caesar die even if it means his own death), to technically help the Legion etc.
• I have a thing for enemies forced to work together, so what if there was some kind of bigger threat that's even worse than the Legion, just to put Arcade in the awful situation of wanting to help them?
• explicitly shippy stuff would have to be noncon, because no way would Arcade agree to sleeping with  Caesar - whether it's Caesar just taking what he wants, or raping Arcade to punish him, or convincing himself that Arcade totally wants him back and just doesn't admit it ...

Lucius/Arcade Gannon

• stuck in the Mojave together: maybe Lucius has to escort Caesar's favourite slave somewhere and *handwave* things go wrong and it ends up being just them, having to work together to survive; even funnier if Lucius finds Arcade irritating as fuck 
• Lucius seems like a semi-decent guy for a Legionary, so I'd like to see moments of him being nice in some way to Arcade and Arcade not having it because he's not accepting shit from these bastards (or maybe eventually accepting it because he's fucking miserable and lonely and it's been so long since he's had anything nice)
• rape by proxy :D Caesar doesn't want to fuck Arcade himself, but he has Lucius do it - either as a "reward" for his favourite pet slave (because, hey, Arcade is gay, surely he'll like getting banged by a hot guy! /s) or as a punishment because Arcade pissed him off. I'd find it especially interesting if Lucius didn't really want to do it, but it doesn't even occur to him to disobey.
• grudging, confused attraction! grudging on Arcade's part, maybe confused on Lucius's if he's never/rarely ever been into a guy. I'd be totally okay with just lots of UST neither of them wants to do anything about, but a resolution would also be awesome
• so here for Lucius-becomes-Caesar future fic - what would that mean for Arcade, if he's still around by then?

Caesar/Lucius, Caesar/Vulpes Inculta

(lumping these together because I'm looking for fairly similar stuff for both ships)

• villainous loyalty kink is one of my favourite things. Caesar is such a hypocritical jerk in game, I'd love to get to see him through the eyes of men who think he's the greatest person ever. Or who maybe think he is fallible, but still are loyal to him and believe in what he does. (Especially for Vulpes, I find the combination of Utterly Ruthless Sociopath and Genuine Belief in the Legion fascinating.)
• how much of the official Legion doctrine does Lucius/Vulpes believe? and if they don't believe it, how do they reconcile that with being devoted to Caesar anyway?
• I'm reaaally here for messy consent issues, with Caesar demanding what he wants and the other one not being in any position to say no (and not even thinking that they should be able to say no)  - whether he feels honoured or kinda uncomfortable or actively unhappy about it or something in between. Could be extra interesting if you add some masculinity issues and/or internalised homophobia.
• variation of the above: Caesar loves to get fucked, but nobody must ever know, so he can only trust his most loyal men with that
• I didn't actually nominate Vulpes/Lucius, but now that I think about it ... if you can make it work, I'd read it, too

Fast and the Furious
Deckard Shaw/Owen Shaw

Note:

I was not happy with what canon did with them in the most recent movie, so I'd prefer if we could just ignore that. I'm not interested in the watered down version of them where Owen was just manipulated by Cypher and Deckard is secretly not all that bad and also likes babies. I want to read about them being the unrepenting, murderous fucks we got in F&F 6 and 7 because I'm into this ship for us-against-the-world villains, not secret good guys.

Prompts:

• Deckard is 8 years older than Owen, so Owen was still a kid when Deckard joined the military: how did that go? Was there any resentment on Owen's side? Did he just have a big case of hero worship, since he followed his brother's example as soon as he could?
• at what point did they go from big brother/little brother to equals?
• how did they both manage to get kicked out of the SAS? Did they fuck up? Did one of them fuck up and the other followed him into exile, so to speak? Did they get blamed for someone else's mistake? Did they get greedy and start making money on the side? Or anything about that time the military sent a ton of Special Forces guys to kill Deckard and they failed?
• post-F7 fic: either Deckard breaking out of prison and being there while Owen recovers, or Owen waking up from his coma and getting back to his feet and breaking his brother out of prison (I'd prefer if Owen didn't have any permanent health issues from his coma; it's an action movie, people can survive horrific injuries with not much more than a few scars, right?). How does almost dying/getting locked up change their relationship? Roaring rampage of revenge y/y? (While I like the protagonists of the F&F movies, I'm not so emotionally attached to them that I wouldn't happily read about the Shaw brothers getting their revenge against them.)
• any kind of first time fic would be great. When did the incestuous obsession with each other start? When they were still pretty young? Did teenage Owen somehow manipulate his big brother into giving him what he wants? I'm fine with underage as long as Owen is at least 15ish by the time they actually sleep with each other, and I'm cool with Owen fantasising about his brother/being all around inappropriate towards him even when he's younger. Or did it only start when they were in the military together and Deckard saw Owen more as an equal than as his little brother? Did it only start after they got kicked out of the military?
• for this pairing I love obsessive pining, voyeurism before they get together (i.e. watching each other screw other people), possessiveness/jealousy ("I will kill you if you ever let anyone else fuck you" and the like), rough sex, completely obsessive incestuous codependency, being horrible people to everyone but each other, delighting in each other's horribleness, delighting in each other's badassery, sweaty rough sparring, gun/knife play, kinking on being brothers - basically go kinky if you like.
• while I didn't like what F&F8 did with them otherwise, Cypher was a really cool villain, so if you wanted to write a plotty, action-y fic in which the Shaw brothers go after Cypher together (not for ~corrupting~ Owen, but maybe simply because she fucked them over at some point), that would be awesome.
• I'm always here for F&F/Expendables crossovers, whether it's just the Shaws and the Expendables working together, or the Shaws and Lee having history from their time in the SAS, or Owen banging Lee because he looks like Deckard ...

The Hateful Eight (2015)
Chris Mannix/Marquis Warren
Fic

I love the dialogues in this movie and could just read endless fics about these two bantering with each other. I also love so much of what the movie chooses to do with the historical setting - all the old wounds and unsolved conflicts, all the anger and resentment and horrible experiences so many of the characters went through. I love what a scheming, brilliant bastard Warren is. I love how layered Mannix is: a horrible racist asshole, but almost immediately fond of Warren and so eager to obey him, and I love how he's much, much smarter than he seems at first. Their complicated relationship that starts out antagonistic before they turn into a ridiculously good team is amazing.

Prompts:

• post-canon fic in which they somehow survive - I think most of my prompts go in that direction (please let's pretend Warren only got shot in the upper thigh and everything is still intact? or, idk, he got one ball shot off, but the rest is still there)
• maybe Mannix was less injured and manages to patch Warren up, and they weather the storm together until someone finds them? Warren dealing with the fact that Chris Mannix of all people saved his life, twice.
• Sheriff Mannix and bounty hunter Warren having a drink every time Warren brings in a bounty and slowly developing the oddest friendship
• the two of them working together as bounty hunters (with lots of competence kink and being turned on by the other one being so damn good at killing people, while also being disgusted when remembering where the other one learnt to kill so well)
• antagonistic friendship where they get along great at times and want to strangle each other at others
• protectiveness, loyalty kink, especially if they're surprised by how much they've grown to care about each other
• anything about Warren's or Mannix's past: where Warren grew up, how he escaped (I'm assuming that's what's happened), his time in the Union army and afterwards; Mannix's family, his childhood as the runt of the litter, how obsessed he is with his father (daddy issues!), his war experiences, the Mannix Marauders ... Feel free to have them meet old friends or old enemies in your fic.
• them being amoral bad guys who are both awful in their own way - they're not nice or good people and I like that
• hate sex; or huddling for warmth leading to sex; or post-battle sex in the blood of their enemies/bounties ...
• for porn: I usually don't have fixed top/bottom preferences, but in this particular case, I doubt Warren would be okay with not being completely in charge of anything that happens between them. And Mannix seems to be pretty okay with letting Warren call the shots.
• kinks: uniform kink, scars, D/s, Warren ordering Mannix around and getting off on the way Mannix calls him "sir", humiliation kink, daddy issues (Warren teasing Mannix in bed with how disappointed his father would be in him if he could see him right now), size kink, restraints, a bit of spanking/flogging, discipline/punishment, gun play, knife play, boot kink, rape roleplay (Mannix can't admit what he wants, but he's fine with letting Warren take it as long as Mannix can pretend he doesn't want it), dirty talk, praise kink (because Mannix can be such a good boy) ...
• dubcon with Warren manipulating Mannix into doing things he's not 100% okay with, although I'd prefer if Mannix ended up enjoying it, even if he feels very ashamed about it
• shame, internalised homophobia, guilt: I doubt Mannix is happy with being attracted to men, I don't know if Warren is; either way they're both probably very unhappy with being attracted to this particular man

Ahn Sang-goo/Woo Jang-hoon

Sang-goo's hand is exempt from my "no permanent injuries" DNW - no need to retcon or fix that, although I'd still prefer if nobody lost any additional limbs (except their antagonists maybe ;)).

Prompts:

• I could read a hundred different post-canon getting together fics about them: how do things continue between them after that last scene? Do they jump each other's bones that very night because they've been flirting almost since they met? Do they proceed to have months or years of slow-burning UST and pining while they become friends and meet up for dinner all the time and tease each other and banter and neither of them wants to ruin that by making the first move? Does it take some kind of outside element like one of them getting hurt for them to get over each other? Does one of them maybe make the first move, but gets rejected (because the other one is repressed or whatever reason), and they only get together much later?
• if you want to write something plotty: the post-credit scene heavily applies that Lee&co aren't done yet, so what if they are let out of prison a few years later and want to get back at them?
• all the banter and insulting each other, including in bed. Also, how that banter gets friendlier over time, how Jang-hoon's insults slowly turn into endearments (he already says "gangster" in the fondest voice at the end of the movie).
• maybe some conflicts arising out of the whole "lawyer and gangster" thing? Maybe Jang-hoon can live with a certain amount of illegal stuff he knows Sang-goo is up to, but there are lines he won't let him cross (at least not to his knowledge)? Maybe Jang-hoon gets somehow dragged into one of those deals, like someone thinking it'd be a great idea to abduct Sang-goo's BFF/lover to blackmail him? Of course Sang-goo would burn everything down to get him back and Jang-hoon would be fucking furious that was even necessary.
• I love repression and denial in fics, especially for characters like these two. I could see it for either one or both of them: I can see Sang-goo as fairly relaxed about his sexuality because he's a gangster who does what he wants anyway, but I could also see him having a lot of masculinity hangups and being in complete denial about wanting men. I can see Jang-hoon not giving a fuck because he strongly believes all people should be equal (though he'd still be incredibly closeted, of course), but I can also see him being completely repressed because he knows how much anything like that would hurt his career and his dream of a successful, normal life. I could see a total top clash where they're both willing to sleep with a man, but neither is willing to bottom because they'd consider that way "more gay". Additionally, I could see Sang-goo having some issues about anyone staring too much/touching his right arm, and Jang-hoon just not giving a shit because he still wants him more than anyone else.
• I really enjoyed those scenes with Jang-hoon's father, how much those two bitch at each other while still clearly caring a lot, and also how incredibly polite and respectful Sang-goo is to him (because he does have manners, unlike some people ;)). So if you felt like including him, and what he thinks about his prickly asshole of a son befriending the gangster he stashed at his place that one time, that could be great.
• I'm mostly into post-canon fic for these two, but I also wouldn't mind some kind of canon divergence where some part of their revenge/justice plan goes wrong and they have to improvise, although I would prefer a happy ending.
• if you want to write smut: suit porn, rough sex, manhandling, roughness, lots of banter in bed, competitive sex, arguing about who gets to top or maybe convoluted deals ("if you blow me, you get to fuck me") even once they're both enjoying pretty much all of it, lots of body worship (Sang-goo's tattoo and insanely perfect muscles, and maybe also petting the stump of his arm), sauna sex, spanking (maybe Sang-goo gets tired of Jang-hoon being a rude little shit), and really any of the kinks I listed above.
• I could definitely see some fluffier things for them, too, especially once they are together: nice dinners, Sang-goo getting Jang-hoon gifts and Jang-hoon complaining about it, visiting his dad again and hanging out by that lake, actually running off to the Maldives to spend a week doing nothing but sprawling around drinking Mojitos ...

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Canderous Ordo/Male Revan, Canderous Ordo/Male Revan/Carth Onasi, Male Revan & HK-47

I strongly prefer Dark Side Revan, although I'm also fine with a more morally grey version of Revan if that's what you want to write, who's not really interested in this whole binary opposition of good and evil, but just does his own thing. Actually even with Dark Side Revan I prefer Pragmatic Evil and ruthless, power-hungry ambition over Ludicrous Evil and "bwahahaha I kick puppies in my free time for the Evulz". Mostly I'm just not interested in redeemed, saintly Light Side Revan. If you want to include any of the other characters, that's fine by me, although I'd rather not read about Bastila. 

Male Revan/Canderous Ordo

• loyalty kink, because Canderous canonically just about worships the ground Revan walks on, so I'd love to see anything that expands on that - kneeling and hand-kissing and "loyal dog" rhetoric, including things liks Revan calling Canderous his dog in bed
• violent post-battle sex: Canderous loves a good fight and he considers Revan the greatest warrior who ever lived, so I bet they get up to a lot of blood-soaked fun after fights
• DS!Revan ruling the galaxy post-canon with Canderous as his general
• I'd also like to see disagreements between them, whether it's because you write a less unequivocally cruel and power-hungry Revan or simply because Revan and Canderous sometimes disagree on how to rule the galaxy or how to treat defeated enemies or whatever; I'd love to see Revan both respecting Canderous' opinion, and putting his foot down and reminding Canderous of his place when he's done arguing
• inappropriate uses of the Force: Force-choking, Force-bondage, rough pain play combined with Force-healing, inappropriate uses of telepathy - making Canderous hallucinate, making him feel Revan's presence in his mind, Revan controlling his body while letting Canderous be aware of what he's doing (I'm fine with dubcon, although I'd prefer if the relationship in itself was consensual/if Canderous basically considered it Revan's right to do whatever he likes with him) ... did I mention Force-choking? ;D
• mind bonds are generally a lot of fun to play around with: Revan staying in touch that way when they're apart, invading Canderous' dreams, commenting on Canderous' actions or thoughts, whispering into his brain when Canderous is jerking off or fucking someone else
• I'd prefer if Revan, no matter how DS, was at least somewhat emotionally attached to Canderous and didn't only consider him a useful tool; I also love the whole villains in love trope - Revan loving Canderous with all that mad, possessive Dark Side passion ...

Male Revan/Canderous Ordo/Carth Onasi

• mostly interested in Revan and Canderous keeping Carth around as a prisoner and slave for their entertainment, rather than a consensual interpretation of the ship. Revan mindfucking Carth, playing with him, Canderous letting Carth loose so they can spar and fight and then Canderous fucks him bloody "after giving him a fair fight", Revan watching their games through Canderous' eyes and joining them afterwards to mindfuck Carth a bit more or make Carth grovel at his feet ... (Poor Carth, I don't know why I like torturing him so. ;))

Male Revan & HK-47

• similar to above, I love to read about Emperor!Revan ruling the galaxy and HK-47 taking care of assassinations for him again
• dialogues! HK-47's snarky comments are one of my favourite things about canon, so I'd love to see more of that - especially HK-47's amazing suggestions on how to solve all problems with violence, and all the times Revan agreed or disagreed with him
• Revan built HK-47, so maybe something about that, about how he programmed him, or reprogrammed him at various points - if you write something set pre-game, it could also be fun to see HK-47 and Malak interact again, since Malak is the original meatbag ;)
• Revan, HK-47 and Canderous all interacting would be amazing
