Dear Heart Attack writer,

Thank you for writing for me and having a look at this letter. I've got some general likes and dislikes listed - those are the important parts, really. They're followed by a list of kinks I like, should you feel inclined to write porn, and some fandom-specific prompts, but if those don't work for you - as long as you include a thing or two that I like and don't include my DNWs, I'm sure I will love whatever you write for me. :D

As a general rule, I enjoy all ratings; I like darker, angstier fic and more light-hearted stories, although neither completely conflictless fluff nor completely bleak darkfic without a ray of hope are quite my thing. I'm always happy about porn, but it's not a must. If you do write porn and you want more smut-related prompts, I've requested most of these ships for Smut Swap before. The fandoms are listed alphabetically. The length of the fandom-specific sections doesn't indicate an order of preference; I just had more ideas and prompts for some of them.

Do Not Wants:

character death of characters I like (random side characters or antagonists dying is fine)
serious illnesses, permanent injuries (blood and wounds that will heal again are fine)
completely tragic/bleak endings
animal death/cruelty

* I'm fine with mentions of characters' past relationships with OCs (and obviously with things like random OC couples in casefic or mentioning people's parents). However, I don't want these ships to play a central role: a character thinking back of how they tried out this kink before with some guy they hooked up with five years ago, or briefly thinking that they used to date this guy who hated it when they did X? Totally fine. A character spending half the fic thinking about or interacting with their ex? Not something I'm interested in.

Canon-specific: I'm fine with mentions of past canon relationships that were (almost) over before canon started (Nikolaos/Myrrine for Odyssey, Jim/Neal and Adam/Megan for Deus Ex, Joseph/his wife for Far Cry 5), and for The Witcher, brief mentions of Geralt's past relationships with Yennefer and Triss (or other people) are fine, as long as he's over them by the time the fic happens. But when it comes to relationships that only start during canon, please pretend they simply never happened. If I've requested several ships in a fandom, I'm fine with them appearing in the same fic.

first time/getting together: slow burn, pining, UST finally getting resolved, but also antagonistic hate sex or casual hookups that are only later followed by feelings (emotional pining while already having sex is great)
developing relationships: relationship conflicts after the characters got together, trying to figure out how to make things work, some things maybe not working at first, temporary breakups, basically anything that doesn't assume that first time sex -> perfect relationship

Alex Verus Series - Benedict Jacka

I enjoyed the hell out of these books when I read them a while ago, and as usual I fell hardest for the villains. I also really adore the worldbuilding in the series: how different kinds of magic work, wards and relics and artefacts, the politics (both inside the Council and between Light and Dark and independent mages, all the scheming and blackmail and bureaucracy and proxy wars), Dark mage society and customs and rules ... I'd love to read more about all these things, if they somehow fit into your fic.

I love Richard, Morden and Onyx and just want more of them interacting in every combination. I love Richard and Morden as old friends and partners who make a fantastically terrifying team, and I love the complicated, messed up master/apprentice relationship between Morden and Onyx. And I'd love to see Richard and Onyx interact as well and/or throw all three of them together. When it comes to other ships, I'm definitely on board with fucked up Richard/Verus and I'm also totally fine with any of them nonconning their male or female slaves, up to and including graphic noncon - don't worry about squicking me if you want to include something like that.

As for other characters, I also love Cinder, Garrick, Landis and Caldera. I like Verus himself as well and I'm fine with him appearing, but considering that the novels already focus on him and his point of view, I'd prefer to receive fic that focuses on other characters. Verus and Richard's relationship is very interesting to me (gen or shippy), but if you want to include that, I'd prefer seeing it from another point of view than Verus'. The only character I'd rather not read about is Anne - I'm fine with mentions of her being around as Richard's convenient djinn host, but that's about it.

Richard Drakh/Morden

I'm so fascinated by their partnership. They're both incredibly powerful, and yet they seem perfectly happy to work together and share their power with each other in a way that shouldn't even be possible with everything we know about Dark mages - and since I love badass villains in love, I'm here for all of it. I'd also be up for a more ambivalent version of their relationship, though, with them working together but not entirely trusting each other, or things being otherwise more complicated between them.

I'm desperate for background fic: how long have they known each other? how did they meet? how long have they been working together? to what extent are they genuinely working together or are they just using each other?
younger Richard and Morden working together back when they weren't yet the two most powerful Dark mages in England (are they even the same age?)
related: how much does Morden know about what Richard was up to during his ten year absence and at what point did he find out about all that? how did their reunion after Richard's return go? were they already close before Richard left or only since his return?
does Morden know Richard is a diviner? Richard is so secretive about it, but Morden would probably make damn sure he knows just what his partner-in-world-conquering can do - and if he knows, how did he find out? why did Richard accept Morden knowing his biggest secret instead of trying to kill him for it?
people in canon keep assuming Morden is working FOR Richard when really nothing indicates that they aren't partners - how do they feel about that? does Morden find it insulting or amusing? do they ever use it for their advantage?
what the hell was Richard up to during those ten years he was gone? other than getting himself a djinn
but also, what the fuck Morden is up to: why did he even bother to get on the Council? why did he decide to sit around in a Council prison for a year? I kept waiting for him to do something that required him to be on the Council and in that prison shadow realm, but he never did, so feel free to do something canon-divergent with that
getting together: it probably took them a long time to trust each other even a little bit, and I imagine that Richard wasn't comfortable sleeping with a death mage for a long time - I'd love some UST and insane mutual attraction while they kind of dance around each other and try to figure each other out, and what eventually leads them to do something about all that tension
reunion sex! whether after Richard's return or after Morden's prison break
do Morden and Richard ever commiserate about their apprentices (since Onyx has no mind for politics, Deleo is batshit crazy, Verus discovered pesky morals ...)?
Elsewhere weirdness - communicating that way while Richard was away, or while Morden was in prison, or weird dream sex before they trusted each other enough for real world sex, or just freaky dream sex that wouldn't be possible in reality
I'd love behind-the-scenes fic for any of the events in the books, things like Richard asking Morden to save Verus' life because he still needed him, or Richard telling Morden about his plans with the dreamstone and the djinn, or them scheming together about getting Morden on the Council ...

Morden/Onyx

I love both villainous loyalty and mentor/mentee relationships so much. :D I'm open to a lot of different takes on this, but I'd prefer if there was at least some mutual respect and appreciation. Onyx clearly cares a lot about Morden's opinion of him, and Morden had pretty high hopes for Onyx at least at some point, plus Onyx is pretty ridiculously powerful and still loyal to him, which must count for a lot. And the way things end between them in canon breaks my heart, even before Onyx dying the most useless death ever, so I'd love a fix-it fic for that.

I'm totally fine with underage and/or dubcon/grooming, but I'd rather not get straightforward noncon; I want Onyx to be into it.

more about Onyx' background: how he became Morden's apprentice, if there were other apprentices, how he became his Chosen, how he feels about the fact that he and his master are such incredibly different people with very different approaches to problems ... I'd love to see something that gives him a bit more depth than Verus' understandably very negative view of him. I doubt he would have survived that long if he was a complete idiot.
we know what Verus' apprenticeship was like - was Onyx' similar or did Morden approach teaching his apprentices differently than Richard did? If you want to take this as an excuse to tell me more about Dark mage society and customs, I'm here for it.
for porn: D/s, expressions of fealty (kneeling, hand-kissing, shoe-kissing etc.) , Morden's occasional punishments giving Onyx a masochistic streak over the years, Morden topping him sometimes and sometimes topping from the bottom, sparring leading to sex, creative uses of magic in bed, MAGIC CHOKING :DDDD
while we're talking about porn: first time fic would be great, whether it's Morden creeping on his ridiculously powerful young apprentice or Onyx being all creepily intense and obsessed with his master - or both (random porn idea: Onyx fucking Morden's slaves right after Morden fucked them, and Morden realising he finds that kind of hot)
if you want to do something tropey with magical soulbonds or telepathic bonds (maybe it's another old Dark mage custom for masters and their favourite apprentices?), I would totally read that - feel free to make it fucked up and creepy, if you like (hell, maybe the reason Onyx isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer is because it turns out spending years with your master poking at your brain through a telepathic bond is not great for your intellectual development)
Onyx returning to Morden either after the business with the Fateweaver or after the business with Vitus - both situations in which he technically failed to do what Morden ordered him to do. Presumably he got punished, and Onyx canonically felt like he failed him and Morden "never looked at him the same way", but Morden also clearly forgave him - how did that go? I'd also love to read anything about the fact that Morden trusted his powerful Dark Chosen to bring him something as powerful as the Fateweaver, apparently without even worrying for one second that Onyx would want to keep it for himself
how does Onyx feel about Morden's alliance with Richard and about Richard in general, especially when Richard just showed up?
fix-it fic because I really need Onyx and Morden to make up and have Onyx regain Morden's favour after his previous fuckups - bring Morden some powerful item or useful intel or kill somebody super powerful for him (Levistus? some other Council member? Vihaela if she ever turns on them?), I just need Onyx to earn back his place.
related: if you want to write me a version of that fight in which Onyx kicks Verus+Fateweaver's ass and then delivers both plus Verus' dreamstone to Morden and Richard to regain his place ... yes please (it cracked me up that despite the Fateweaver, the author STILL had to go "and Onyx totally slowed down over the past year" because otherwise Onyx would have won that fight, so, please, let him win that fight :D I'm okay with killing Verus off, and equally okay with delivering him gift-wrapped to Richard to do with as he pleases)

Richard Drakh/Onyx

I was really looking forward to Richard and Onyx working together while Morden was in prison and felt a bit cheated by canon when that didn't happen, so I'd love fic about that instead of their mutual hissy fit and Onyx getting basically sidelined from the main plot. Maybe Morden orders Onyx to work for Richard while he's away, or maybe Onyx figures by himself that helping Morden's ally is the best way to regain his favour.

Onyx and Richard kicking ass together, because there's no bonding like bonding over killing a bunch of people together :)
bonding over how much they both like and respect Morden, up to and including fucking each other while talking about Morden
Onyx learning some things from Richard; Richard maybe being a good influence on him and teaching him how to use his brain a bit more
Richard being somewhat jealous of how loyal to Morden Onyx is, because his favourite apprentice turned out to be a treacherous little weasel (I say that with a lot of fondness ;))
Richard and Onyx breaking Morden out of prison together instead of Anne doing it - this would also be fun in a verse in which, like in canon, Richard and Onyx didn't get along and then still decide to work together to save Morden (maybe something didn't go to plan and Morden is actually in danger of getting executed if they don't get him out)
rough sex? post-battle sex? lots of dirty talk because Richard canonically has the hottest voice ever? I can see Onyx not really having been interested in many people other than Morden (sure, he fucks slaves because it's convenient, but that's different), so maybe being with Richard is very different experience for him? or maybe Richard is usually too paranoid to fuck other mages?
Onyx spent years obsessing over one diviner - I'd be very amused if he figures out that Richard is one as well after seeing him fight once

Richard Drakh/Morden/Onyx

Basically just throw all the above together. :D This would work for me in a canon divergent verse in which Morden and Onyx didn't have their falling out to begin with, or a verse in which he regained Morden's favour but by then Morden totally rekindled his thing with Richard and eventually they all end up in bed together, or hell, even Richard seducing Onyx while Morden was in prison, or Morden pimping Onyx out to Richard as a bit of a punishment and it turns out they both really enjoyed it, I'm open to a lot of scenarios here, including fucked up ones, but I would generally enjoy it if all three of them were more or less happy with the situation, at least eventually.

I don't have a lot of specific prompts for this. I'd love to see all three of them working together, fighting together, scheming together (well, Morden and Richard scheming and Onyx being their weapon of mass destruction), and I'm always here fo a good Villains Win AU.

Assassin's Creed: Odyssey

Alexios/Brasidas

I mostly have protagonist!Alexios in mind for this. I love his sense of humour, I love how cheerful and arrogant he is at times, I love that he likes to help people but will still tell them they're ridiculous dicks afterwards. I played him as fairly pro-Sparta and genuinely wanting to return home, which I think goes rather well with this ship anyway. I love his banter and his immediate connection with Brasidas (that warehouse fight! *heart eyes*), I love how much they just get each other and trust each other - even though Alexios really has reason enough to mistrust just about anyone he runs into. And since it's absolutely tragic the game didn't let us romance Brasidas, that's clearly what fic is for. :D As for Brasidas, I love how smart and cunning he is, how he thinks outside the box while still being a ruthless fighter when the situation calls for it, and how much he genuinely and openly cares about people who are important to him.

I'm up for setting this at any point during the game - around their first meetings in Korinth, when Alexios is in Sparta, or when they're working together later on - or post-game in a verse in which Brasidas didn't die. Because I'm in denial about that and damn historical accuracy. ;)

While I usually DNW unrequested ships, I'm fine with mentions of 1) Alexios's male canon hookups, 2) Brasidas being married (or widowed) because it's just unlikely that he wouldn't be, although I'd see that more as a practical arrangement than a marriage of love, 3) any erastes/eromenos-style relationships Brasidas might have been in, whether it's him currently having someone under his wing or still being good friends with the guy who, er, "mentored" him years ago. However, I wouldn't want any of those relationships to be more meaningful to them than each other, if that makes sense.

any getting together scenario, set at any point in or after the game, whether it's casual hookups long before they get closer or years of pining before they finally make the first step, or anything in between, though I have a special place in my heart for any kind of friends-with-benefits slowly turning to lovers scenario
post-fighting/sparring sex, lots of kinking on each other's strength and skill, manhandling each other (wall sex and the like), getting turned on during battles ...
Alexios and Brasidas working together, whether to hunt down Cultists or serving Sparta in some way - fighting side by side, Brasidas scheming and thinking outside the box, saving each other's life, patching each other up ...
fix-it fic for Brasidas's death: Alexios saving his life, Alexios thinking he's dead but Brasidas was captured and Alexios comes to save him, Brasidas being badly injured (I'm fine with longer recoveries, but please have him get well and be able to fight again at the end), or even something like Brasidas dying and Alexios saving him from the underworld (though I'd prefer if Brasidas wasn't dead and absent for 90% of the fic)
post-canon fic about Alexios settling down in Sparta, getting used to having a home, Brasidas teaching him about what it means to be a Spartan, Brasidas interacting with Alexios's family (I just really need Brasidas and Stentor in one room, or Brasidas and Nikolaos); Brasidas and Alexios having a really hard time finding places to hook up in peace because neither of them lives alone ...
Alexios seems pretty chill about being into men, but maybe Brasidas isn't? Or maybe they both are chill about it in general, but there were still so many cultural hangups in Ancient Greece about which men you're allowed to be into, and about penetrative sex, and and and, so feel free to write me some angst about any of those things
jealousy! whether it's while they're pining, or while they're friends with benefits and then they slowly realise they're not really okay with the other one sleeping around anymore
any AU in which Alexios grows up in Sparta, especially if you go with Brasidas becoming Alexios's erastes and Nikolaos approving very much - I'm totally on board with underage
Super Specific Scenario I love (doesn't hurt to try, right? ;)): post-canon, Alexios lives in Sparta, Brasidas has a son who's 12ish, Alexios - pining for Brasidas and certain he can never have him - starts wooing his son in the hopes of becoming his erastes because hey he's a respectable Spartan citizen now and a badass fighter and Brasidas' friend; instead of approving Brasidas seems absolutely furious about the idea - because he's jealous, but of course Alexios assumes it's because Brasidas doesn't think he's good enough for his son ... TLDR they figure things out and get together and Brasidas' son can get an erastes who isn't using him as a replacement goldfish for his dad
I'm not super into the whole Isu/artefacts aspect of the game, tbh, so I'd love an AU in which Greek mythology is simply real and the gods like meddling and that's why there's lots of weird magic and creatures and items around (I will admit that a big part of this is because I want to hear the bizarre story of how Zeus got Myrrine pregnant - thunderstorms? a sexy possum? a tree fell on her head? because clearly Alexios is Zeus's son ;)) - this could work well for adventure fic, or for something like the gods or some monster creating a soulbond between them, or for any of the gods giving Alexios some big task and Brasidas trying to help, or for Hades demanding something from Alexios if he wants to get dead!Brasidas back ...

Nikolaos/Stentor

Daddy Issues The Ship. :D I'm so here for how not chill and angry and repressed Stentor is about everything, and how loyal and devoted he is to Nikolaos while clearly craving his approval. I also love that they both must have kind of messed up, complicated feelings about each other: Stentor clearly has a chip on his shoulder and he cares so much about being Nikolaos' son that he must angst a lot about also being into him; and Nikolaos lost both his kids (and his wife), so adopting someone else must not have been easy for him either. Feel free to play up the incestuous aspect as much or as little as you like - I mean, they do clearly refer to each other as father and son, but I figure that's still a different relationship when Stentor was adopted as a teenager (or maybe even as an adult) than if he spent his whole life as Nikolaos' kid.

I'm 100% here for Stentor having been Nikolaos' eromenos, and Nikolaos eventually adopting him (I don't really care if Stentor basically grew up without parents, or if he was orphaned as a teenager and Nikolaos adopted him then). Underage down to 12ish is totally fine for this ship. Feel free to do whatever with Stentor's age, as long as he isn't quite as absurdly old as he looks in game. ;)

Should it come up, I prefer Alexios as the elder sibling and protagonist. Totally fine with mentions of background Alexios/Brasidas (and Brasidas being alive is always A+), and of Nikolaos/Myrrine and Stentor/the wife he definitely has because he's a Good Spartan (TM), although I doubt that's a particularly loving, passionate relationship rather than just him being dutiful and doing what's expected of him.

I'm totally up for pre-canon fic: what's Stentor's background? does he have any living family left? what did he do as a teenager to get Nikolaos' attention and become his eromenos (Nikolaos is kind of a big deal, he wouldn't have taken any random kid under his wing)? did Stentor actively try to get his attention and pursue him while Nikolaos was a bit reluctant, or was Stentor surprised that someone as important as Nikolaos was interested in him? at what age did Nikolaos actually adopt him? how long was this after Nikolaos lost his own kids?
both of them trying to pretend the sex is all about Bonding and Teaching when Stentor is a teenager, and both guiltily enjoying it far more than they think they should
they think they should stop sleeping with each other when Stentor gets "too old" for it (and maybe he's officially Nikolaos' son by then), but they don't want to ...
or conversely: they do stop sleeping with each other and only start again years later - maybe after Stentor finds out Nikolaos isn't dead and jumps even though he really really shouldn't? bonus if they end up a lot more passionate about it than they ever allowed themselves to be when Stentor was younger
both of them angsting to hell and back about how Nikolaos must be disappointed in Stentor for still wanting this, or how Nikolaos must clearly disrespect Stentor if he still treats him like a boy in bed ... feel free to heap as much shame and guilt as possible on them ;D
they're both very repressed and proper and serious and probably suck at talking about their feelings, so give me all the misunderstandings - Stentor desperately trying to make Nikolaos proud and not knowing that Nikolaos is proud of him, neither of them being entirely aware just how much the other one loves him because they'd never ever talk about it ... maybe physical affection is the only thing they manage?

I love this idea, specifically as a verse in which Alexios had a younger brother rather than a younger sister who was raised by the Cult (I'm fine with Kassandra existing as the third sibling - maybe she actually grew up with Myrrine or Nikolaos after her two brothers were thrown off Mount Taygetos?). Or, what I'd find even more fascinating, if they were twins and actually have some memories of growing up together - I feel like that would make their reunion even more interesting, and also make Deimos feel like it was even more unfair that Alexios got, compared to him, a halfway decent life.

Name-wise, feel free to do whatever - you can call Deimos!Alexios Kassandros if Kassandra doesn't exist, or give him another (Greek) name, or just have him insist on going by Deimos even post-canon if you want to ignore the name issue. I love family feelings for this canon, too, so you can definitely include Nikolaos, Myrrine and Stentor (and Kassandra) as well, if you want to. Same for Brasidas - I'm all for complicated feelings about Deimos almost killing Alexios' friend (lover?), or Brasidas living and he and Deimos trying to get along somehow post-canon ... If you want to go in a threesome direction, I'm open to that!

Note: I've played Human Revolution and Mankind Divided and I've read Black Light. I don't mind spoilers for any of the other games or comics or whatever else there is, but I'd prefer not to get a fic that requires me to be familiar with those parts of canon.

Adam's injuries prior to getting his augs are obviously exempt from my "no permanent injuries" DNW. However, I don't want anyone else to get their limbs ripped off or the like, and I don't want Adam's augs to get permanently disabled or destroyed.

I love Adam so much: that he's a genuinely good guy who wants to help people, that he's snarky and cheeky and irreverent, that (at least post-augs) he's pretty withdrawn and emotionally unavailable and has all these walls built around himself (and I really want someone to get past them). I like angst and suffering and Adam is a well of suffering, and I enjoy it while simultaneously wanting nice things to happen to him (after lots of beautiful suffering). As for Miller, I love that he has a temper and is impatient and often isn't particularly nice, but underneath that gruffness he cares about doing the right thing and he cares about his men. Similar with Pritchard: he's such a prickly jerk, but at the same time he's always ready to drop anything to help Adam. I'd also be happy to see any other TF29 or SI characters appear in the story. I'd especially love to see Sarif and Miller meet.

Adam Jensen/Jim Miller

the direct aftermath of London: I was disappointed that there wasn't another conversation between them at the end of the game, but that's what fic is for. Miller wanting to know how Adam got the antidote, demanding a justification for disobeying his orders, maybe some desperate you're-not-dead sex or just a sharp increase in UST they're both trying to ignore ...
generally a lot of things happen in game that aren't talked about that I'd love for them to have a conversation about some day: like the time Adam broke into Miller's place, or how Adam got his augs (to what extent does Miller know what happened and just how involuntary that was?)

I'd be very interested in an AU in which the Incident didn't happen and the political situation in MD is more similar to what we saw in HR, simply because I find that far more interesting in terms of worldbuilding: maybe Adam still works for TF29 because he quit his job at SI once he'd found Megan (and in this verse stopped the Incident from happening?), but in this AU his augs pretty much make him the golden boy, which would make for very different conflicts with e.g. Mac, or maybe people like Mac and Miller are getting pressured into getting augs to become better at their jobs etc. Or maybe this Adam doesn't work for TF29 and meets Miller under different circumstances (but still doesn't know for the longest time if he can trust him).

Adam Jensen/Jim Miller/Francis Pritchard

I mostly see this happening post-MD, maybe because Adam calls Pritchard for help with something. A lot of set-ups for the eventual OT3/threesome could be interesting: maybe Adam has slept with them both once or twice and it's awkward because he wants them both and can't decide and feels greedy. Maybe Adam and Jim got together post-MD and Adam feels bad that he wants someone else even though he's happy with Jim (whether or not he's slept with Pritchard before). Maybe Adam and Jim were on the verge of getting together, but then Pritchard shows up and there's clearly some History there and suddenly Jim isn't so sure anymore if Adam really wants to be with him or not. Maybe Adam has always had UST with both of them, but nothing ever happened, and it eventually explodes in a steaming hot threesome.

I see this starting out as a V constellation - Jim and Frank are both into Adam, Adam is into both of them, and they're willing to put up with each other for his sake. But long term I'd like them to actually start caring about each other, too - I'd love to see how that happens.

I love everything about these three evil bastards. Villainous loyalty kink, devotion, each having their own personal brand of evilness, fucked up tragic backstories, religious weirdness, starting a cult together, murdering and torturing people together, those very different relationships they have with each other - these three really have it all. It's like someone tailor-made them for me. And I love how absolutely batshit insane all three of them are in their own way, completely obsessive and ruthless about it, and I'd really love to see how they all feel about each other's respective batshit insanity, I mean, er, dedication to doing the right thing. ;)

I love Joseph's and John's over-the-top religiousness - how does that play into any incestuous inclinations? does John just say yes to everything his brothers suggest? do they angst about it? does Joseph come up with a convenient reason why this is totally okay? or do they think for a while that it's a horrible sin they need to atone for? what about Jacob - less religious fervour there, but does he feel bad for wanting the brothers he's supposed to protect, or does he think they're all above such petty moral concerns?
Joseph/Jacob: I love their dynamics of the older brother being the follower, and how that balances things out between them a little, with Jacob being the only person who isn't afraid of Joseph - does Joseph sometimes still put him in his place (or try to) or does he talk to Jacob when he wants to hear an honest opinion (does he ever want to hear an honest opinion)? do they argue a lot (what with that "he fought me" line in the eulogy)? how does Joseph feel about Jacob's lack of religious fervour - accept it or try to convert him still? and does Joseph ever manage to offer Jacob some comfort for his Tragic Past (TM) despite that?
Joseph/John: I love that John both worships Joseph and is terrified of him, I love his eagerness to please and fucked up parental issues that he projects onto Joseph (I generally love how much of a fucking MESS John is, he's broken in so many fascinating ways), and Joseph loves him but is clearly not above manipulating him (possibly while telling himself it's for John's own good/to rein in his worst impulses) - and also, Joseph likes to criticise John's sadism at times, but also enables it, so how does that work in his mind? I also like them bonding over their whole religious rapture thing; oh, and I'd love John guiltily confessing that he wants Joseph (and Jacob) because he's all about exposing his horrible sins and atoning for them and being punished ... and then Joseph gives him what he wants instead of punishing him
Jacob/John: I'd love to see them interact since that's not really something canon gave us - I could see some jealousy on John's side about Jacob being, in a way, a rival for Joseph's love (and also much more of Joseph's equal), but at the same time they might well have a more normal brotherly relationship (minus the whole Father and Messiah thing John has with Joseph) - I like Jacob being protective of him, and I like John trying to make him see the light (or maybe enjoying that Jacob isn't really his responsibility to guide and to convert); I like them bonding over their devotion to Joseph even as it comes from very different places, and maybe also bonding over their very inappropriate attraction to him (especially if they think Joseph doesn't feel that way about them); I'd also be up for John starting some very fucked up attempts at finally making Jacob find his faith (even if it means hurting him? or trying to?) - or conversely Jacob deciding to take John on a hunting&survival trip to toughen him up, and maybe ending up quite impressed with how much John can take?; I'd love to see them find common ground once they're reunited despite having lived such extremely different lives
and if you throw all three of them together, how does that go? is John jealous of what Jacob and Joseph have? how does Jacob feel about Joseph pretty shamelessly manipulating John? how does Joseph feel about his brothers maybe turning to each other for comfort about this whole incestuous attraction business rather than to him?

I read these books recently and absolutely loved them! I really adore the antagonism between Frey and McGray and the genuine slow burn of how many near-death experiences it takes for them to grow closer. I love what a fantastic team they are and I love their bickering and their insults, I love the social/cultural/class differences, I love that they're both such pricks who absolutely deserve each other. I love the mutual life-saving, the tension between them, the growing loyalty and understanding. I enjoy how utterly stuck-up and arrogant Frey's POV is.

(Also, should you write porn? Feel free to ignore my feminisation DNW because McGray calling Frey "lassie" in bed is the hottest thing ever and I'm very happy to see that expanded on. But please still no crossdressing.)

getting together fic! I'd imagine it'd take some time until Frey trusts McGray not to mock him mercilessly for this, but really, come up with any scenario you like :D

if you're familiar with either Rivers of London or Vampyr, I'd love a crossover with either canon - really just throw any of them together for some supernatural shenanigans with a side of class issues and I'll be happy (for Vampyr: not sure if "vampires are real" was the confirmation of the supernatural McGray was looking for, but here they are - McGray and McCullum would probably get along great, and Reid will never seem snobby and foppish again to McCullum after meeting Frey; Frey meanwhile has probably some dreadful opinions about the Irish, and he might actually know Reid quite well)

The Hateful Eight (2015)
Chris Mannix/Marquis Warren

I love their initial antagonism, I love that they have every reason to hate and despise each other, and yet they still end up working together and trusting each other. I love that for all his hatred, Mannix almost seems to admire Warren from the start and is surprisingly respectful towards him at times ('please, Major, let me shoot that ugly bastard' comes to mind).

There is so much potential for their relationship if they survive, so I'd love to read any fic in which they do survive (somehow, I don't care how medically implausible it is) and maybe partner up as bounty hunters or see each other every time Warren shows up with new bounties (if we assume that Mannix actually is the new sheriff of Red Rock). And they're the weirdest, most mismatched pair of sort-of-friends ever and constantly confuse people around them, and they grow closer without ever entirely getting over their antagonism and their disagreements, probably switching between 'aw, I'm starting to like him' and 'I'm going to murder him if he doesn't shut his goddamn mouth' twice per conversation. And eventually they end up sleeping with each other. Maybe because they share a bed/blankets in the next cold winter and that leads to more? Maybe because they're angry at each other and fighting about something and that leads to more? Maybe one of them gets injured again and the other takes care of him and there's some gentler affection going on? (Please let's pretend Warren only got shot in the upper thigh or, idk, got one ball shot off and the rest is still intact.)

I usually love switching for all my ships, but I figure that any kind of sexual encounter between them would have Warren in charge, simply because there's no way Warren would ever let any man, let alone a white man, top him in any way. Plus, Mannix clearly has a bit of a submissive streak and is so very eager to please. I'm okay with both rougher, more antagonistic interpretations of their relationship and with gentler stuff that focuses more on their shared experiences and how much they owe each other. Or ideally a combination of both. :D

A canon with lots of entertaining villains, how could I resist? I love all of them being cheerfully villainous and having fun being evil and getting away with all the horrible things they get up to. Peter, Elias, Jonah and Mordechai all just make me so happy with how happily evil they are. I also like terrible people who only care about each other. As for Jon, I am a big fan of him going darker and more monstrous over time, but I also love his angst and guilt, and I love prickly, grumpy early season Jon who just wants to do his job and be left alone, too.

As for other characters and ships: I'm fond of Jon/Tim, even if I didn't request it - I'd definitely enjoy mentions of past attraction or even hookups or a relationship, if that's something you'd want to include. I'm fine with mentions of Martin's crush on Jon, but please no requited Jon/Martin. I'm on board with Jonah sleeping with basically all his friends (Fanshawe, Smirke, Barnabas Bennett, everyone else) and Mordechai fucking other people as well, just as long as they don't love anyone else. Peter and Elias can also fuck other people, I don't need Peter/Elias to be exclusive. With Jon/Elias, I'd prefer if they didn't sleep with other people once they get together, unless it's in threesomes.

I'd prefer if Jon wasn't written as asexual - repressed is fine, low libido is fine, inexperienced is fine, even virginal is fine, but I'd like him to be at least somewhat into sex and attracted to other people (mostly Elias, I want him to be into Elias). I'm good with both Jonah!Elias and Elias just being himself (or anything in between like him being a mix of Jonah and OG!Elias).

For all of these requests, feel free to bring as much creepy supernatural stuff into it as you like - Jonah's/Elias' telepathic abilities, Jon Knowing things, Jon growing however many extra eyes as you like, Peter or Mordechai throwing people into the Lonely ...

Oh God, these two. :D Elias' obsession with his Archivist, the manipulation and the mindgames! Jon being drawn to him and wanting answers from him and being frustrated by him (and slowly becoming a bit more like him). Those hints of pre-canon!Jon's crush on Elias. Jon's whole descent into monstrous darkness that I really want to go way further than it does in canon (so far), because they'd make such a delightful Beholding power couple. I'm good with anything from fully consensual to messed up, manipulative dubcon, though for this exchange I'd prefer no noncon. I'd also like it if, no matter how fraught things are, Jon is at least somewhat drawn and attracted to Elias, even if his feelings are very complicated.

I really love them as friends-with-benefits who've known each other for decades and like working together, scheming together, occasionally scheming against each other but generally more or less on the same side. I love how utterly hilarious Peter is, I love how well they clearly get along (most of the time), and I just generally love them being cheerfully terrible together. :D (Since it's such a thing in fandom, I should probably mention that I'm not into them being literally married. Or divorced.)

I usually don't have particular top/bottom preferences, but I'm not all that much into Peter getting fucked. Elias domming him is fine, though.

background fic:I really, really want to know how they got to know each other and got closer - young Peter not liking James Wright but eventually changing his mind, their first bets, how they first ended up in bed together (did Elias seduce him or how did that happen?) ...

For this request, I'm fine with mentions of Mordechai dying eventually and Jonah mourning and missing him, but I'd prefer not to get a fic that's only focused on that. first meetings/impressions, and how things went from there - they probably met at Smirke's or someone's ~occult soirées~. how did that go? was Jonah initially interested in Mordechai's money and hoping to manipulate him? when did they realise they actually liked/respected each other?

I strongly prefer Dark Side Revan, although I'm also fine with a more morally grey version of Revan if that's what you want to write, who's not really interested in this whole binary opposition of good and evil, but just does his own thing. Actually even with Dark Side Revan I prefer Pragmatic Evil and ruthless, power-hungry ambition over Ludicrous Evil and "bwahahaha I kick puppies in my free time for the Evulz". Mostly I'm just not interested in redeemed, saintly Light Side Revan. If you want to include any of the other characters, that's fine by me, although I'd rather not read about Bastila. I especially love HK-47 because he's fucking hilarious.

loyalty kink, because Canderous canonically just about worships the ground Revan walks on, so I'd love to see anything that expands on that - kneeling and hand-kissing and "loyal dog" rhetoric, including things liks Revan calling Canderous his dog in bed
violent post-battle sex: Canderous loves a good fight and he considers Revan the greatest warrior who ever lived, so I bet they get up to a lot of blood-soaked fun after fights

Vampyr
Jonathan Reid/Geoffrey McCullum

This ship has so many things I love! Antagonism and profound distrust and grudging respect and so much potential to work together reluctantly and grow closer ... I'm easy. :D I did a Not Even Once playthrough and ended up being incredibly frustrated by the game's morality system, where letting awful people go free or saving their life is apparently always the best choice, and I realised that I much prefer a version of Jonathan who's generally a good person and wants to help others, but who can also be rather ruthless and is very willing to get his hands dirty when he thinks someone deserves it. I love that he and Geoffrey are both stubborn people who tend to think they're always right, and I love how much they'll probably always butt heads even once they're closer.

I didn't enjoy the forced romance, so I'd prefer if we could pretend that Jonathan and Elisabeth were simply friends (and tbh thematically I prefer the ending in which she chooses to die to the one where he saves her with the power of love or somesuch). I'd prefer if Swansea didn't show up (unless it's before his possible in-game death, of course) because I have a hard time justifying turning him in-game. I also prefer Jonathan not turning Geoffrey in-game, simply because I find it more interesting if they have some time to get to know each other better while Geoffrey is still human, but I'm totally up for him turning Geoffrey later on.

getting to know each other better post-game: maybe they keep running into each other on their nightly rounds, maybe they have to work together to defeat some big bad evil vampire, maybe one of them saves the other's life ...
Geoffrey stalking Jonathan post-game because he wants to make sure that he's really the good guy he claims to be, watching him night after night - maybe Jonathan starts growing on him, or maybe he saves his ass one night when Jonathan picks a fight he can't win, or maybe Jonathan does something very suspicious-looking and Geoffrey has to investigate further ...
antagonistic hate sex! maybe after they worked together on something and argued half the time and were still a decent team and they drive each other crazy ... maybe they make a habit of post-hunting antagonistic hate sex, and over time it turns less and less antagonistic ...
Jonathan is pretty lonely, and it's hard to meet new people or reconnect with old friends when you have a secret that big and ugly, and Geoffrey is one of the few people he can actually just be himself around - I generally like the idea that, even early on when they don't like each other, they can both offer the other something they can't have with any other people in their lives
I'd love to know more about Geoffrey's, er, coworkers in the Guard, since they're probably basically his family - we only see him interacting with people he dislikes and distrusts in-game, I'd love to see what he's like with people he cares about; I'd also love to see him explaining to his fellow vampire hunters why this one vampire is actually kind of okay
Geoffrey knows more about vampires than Jonathan does, so when Jonathan needs help with something vampire-related (some new problem with feral skals? some new powers he has trouble controlling? some confusing old artefact he dug up somewhere?), he asks Geoffrey for help
Jonathan turning Geoffrey eventually, whether it's many years later and Geoffrey actually agreed to it, or spontaneously after Geoffrey gets badly injured and Jonathan refuses to let him die; or alternately Geoffrey getting turned by Arthur's blood, or even Geoffrey deciding to turn himself by drinking Jonathan's blood without asking Jonathan's permission - in any case I'd love to see his extremely conflicted feelings about becoming what he hated most his entire life (and if Jonathan is the one to turn him? fun with telepathic bonds yay :D)
Geoffrey letting Jonathan drink his blood: maybe Jonathan got so badly injured in a fight that he doesn't even heal and the sun will be rising soon and Geoffrey does it to save his life ...
Catholic guilt and shame! Considering that faith has demonstrable power in this setting, I could see Geoffrey as fairly devout. Between that and it being the 1910s, he might well have a few hangups about being attracted to men - is he trying to be in complete denial? or not in denial, but doing his damnedest not to act on it until that damn leech comes along? does he occasionally fuck rentboys and then hate himself for it afterwards, but he's never actually been with someone he didn't pay?
class differences: feel free to sprinkle these heavily over whatever you're writing, because I'm sure a posh successful West End boy and an orphaned not-exactly-rich Irish guy have lived very different lives
Jonathan and McCullum having various adventures throughout the next decades (I'd definitely be up for fic set decades after canon, if you want to write about them in the 50s or the 70s or present-day or whenever - just please 1) no focus on WWII, 2) no focus on recent or current real life events like Corona or Brexit or anything like that; I'd want McCullum in jeans and a leather jacket, not Reid talking about NHS funding problems)
if you're familiar with both canons, I'd absolutely love a Vampyr/Rivers of London crossover (I requested this for Fic in a Box, if you're interested in some prompts) - and come to think of it, I'd also love a Vampyr/Frey&McGray crossover (not sure if "vampires are real" was the confirmation of the supernatural McGray was looking for, but here they are - and man, Reid will never seem snobby and foppish again to McCullum after meeting Frey; Frey meanwhile has probably some dreadful opinions about the Irish, and he might actually know Reid quite well)

The Witcher (game verse)
Geralt/Ciri

I'll never be over how much I love these two. Moving heaven and hell to save each other! The fact that Ciri seems completely incapable of talking to Geralt without touching him. The way they LOOK at each other. Mutual protectiveness, lying and killing for each other, fighting together, witcher!Ciri hitting the road with Geralt (I'm not really into Empress!Ciri).

For the record, I'm familiar with the show, but haven't read the books; but I'm fine with working in elements from either canon if you want to - I'd just prefer game canon when there are contradictions. As for canon ships, I'd prefer if we could treat all of Geralt's past canon ships as "I guess they happened, but they're over now and he's over them" (especially for Geralt/Yennefer, I really like the Last Wish side quest ending with him realising that, without the djinn, he just isn't that crazy about her). They can get mentioned, but I'd prefer if they didn't play a huge role.

Het-specific DNW: please no femdom or pegging. I also don't particularly enjoy reading about cunnilingus - brief mentions of it happening are fine, but I'd rather not have it be the main event or described in lengthy detail. And I hate the word "folds". Most of my prompts are for post (or during) canon fic, but should you have a great idea for something set earlier, go ahead - underage is perfectly fine down to about 15.

what if Ciri doesn't come back immediately after the finale and Geralt assumes she died? he tries to move on, maybe goes to Toussaint and tries to start anew there, but he's absolutely devastated ... and then it turns out there was just some portal wonkiness and Ciri is back
