Dear Mistletoe writer,

Thank you for writing for me and having a look at this letter. I've got some general likes and dislikes listed - those are the important parts, really. They're followed by a list of kinks I like, should you feel inclined to write porn, and some fandom-specific prompts, but if those don't work for you - as long as you include a thing or two that I like and don't include my DNWs, I'm sure I will love whatever you write for me. :D

As a general rule, I enjoy all ratings; I like darker, angstier fic and more light-hearted stories, although neither completely conflictless fluff nor completely bleak darkfic without a ray of hope are quite my thing. I'm always happy about porn, but it's not a must. I like shorter fics and plotty longfic. If you do write porn and you want more smut-related prompts, I've requested most of these ships for Smut Swap before. The fandoms are listed alphabetically. The length of the fandom-specific sections doesn't indicate an order of preference; I just had more ideas and prompts for some of them.

Do Not Wants:

• character death of characters I like (random side characters or antagonists dying is fine)
• serious illnesses, permanent injuries (blood and wounds that will heal again are fine)
• completely tragic/bleak endings
• animal death/cruelty
• genderbend of any kind, mpreg, A/B/O, characters being werewolves/vampires/anything than what they are in canon
• non-canon gender identities/sexual orientations (e.g. writing characters as trans or asexual), except for writing characters as gay or bi
• unrequested ships (including canon ships) *
• unrequested crossovers or fusions
• complete AUs (canon divergence is fine, but no high school AUs, coffee shop AUs, in space AUs, groundhog day AUs etc.)
• unnecessary epithets, please use characters' names/pronouns unless their name isn't known to the POV character (or unless the characters think of each other by e.g. their title rather than their name)
• 1st and 2nd person fic (unless canon is in 1st person, then it's fine)
• for porn: detailed kink negotiation, safewords for scenes that don't involve consent play (and even then I'm not really into safewords); scat, watersports, coming in pants, crossdressing, feminisation, infantilisation (daddy kink and calling characters "boy/girl" is fine)

* I'm fine with mentions of characters' past relationships with OCs (and obviously with things like random OC couples in casefic or mentioning people's parents). However, I don't want these ships to play a central role: a character thinking back of how they tried out this kink before with some guy they hooked up with five years ago, or briefly thinking that they used to date this guy who hated it when they did X? Totally fine. A character spending half the fic thinking about or interacting with their ex? Not something I'm interested in.

Canon-specific: I'm fine with mentions of past canon relationships that were (almost) over before canon started (like Joseph/his wife for Far Cry 5). Brief mentions of Geralt's past relationships with Yennefer and Triss (or other people) for The Witcher or of Johnny's relationships with Alt or Rogue for Cyberpunk (or of Johnny and Kerry fucking various other people) are fine, but I don't want those relationships (or thinking about those relationships) to play a huge role in the fic. If I've requested several ships in a fandom, I'm fine with them appearing in the same fic.

Things I like to read about:

• first time/getting together: slow burn, pining, UST finally getting resolved, but also antagonistic hate sex or casual hookups that are only later followed by feelings (emotional pining while already having sex is great)
• developing relationships: relationship conflicts after the characters got together, trying to figure out how to make things work, some things maybe not working at first, temporary breakups, basically anything that doesn't assume that first time sex -> perfect relationship
• porn, especially porn with feelings/porn that says something about their relationship (see list below for kinks I like)
• enemies to lovers, partners to lovers
• reluctant allies grudgingly starting to like each other
• non-verbal expressions of affection, unusual romantic gestures that fit the characters
• familiarity, intimacy, characters getting to know each other better (their habits, their hangups etc.)
• pre-canon/background stories, first meetings/first impressions (especially if we didn't see those in canon)
• post-canon fic
• canon divergence
• casefic
• moral dilemmas, characters having to question/go against their principles, situations in which there is no clear right or wrong
• loyalty, devotion, trust, but also trust/commitment issues

• infidelity (not between my requested ships, but one half of my ship cheating on their previous partner with the other half of my ship)
• meaningful name uses (e.g. characters who always call each other by their last name or title switching to using first names)
• outside POVs, different POVs than in canon (more "usual" POVs are great, too)
• sleep-related themes: waking each other from nightmares, falling asleep on each other's shoulder etc.
• soulbonds (but no soulmates, please, unless explicitly requested)
• undercover as enemies (or undercover as a couple) - as long as the set-up fits the setting/characters
• I like darker elements (violence, murder, noncon/dubcon, manipulation, depression, whatever fits your plot and isn't on my DNW list), but I'd prefer a happy or semi-happy ending. Feel free to make me bawl my eyes out, but please cheer me up again afterwards.

Cyberpunk 2077

Oh God, this game. This game has eaten my brain. I love it so much. I adore the setting - the lore, the feeling of Night City, the politics, the absolute dystopian hellscape it is, the cars and the music and the ads and the media. I love that it manages to be simultaneously depressing and dark, utterly garish and hilarious, and genuinely emotionally touching in so many places. I love how real the characters feel, and I love how beautifully depressing and bittersweet the story is.

I went for Streetkid!V in my first playthrough because it works really well for the story in my opinion, and also for his relationship with Johnny. Ambitious, wanting to make something of himself, kinda trashy and obnoxious (I blame the horrible clothes I put him in for that), but not really a bad guy at heart. But don't feel like you have to write him that way if that doesn't work for you. I think Corpo!V could also be very interesting for Takemura/V (though less so when Johnny is involved). I'm just not particularly into the Nomad background. And in general, for player characters, I'd prefer the characterisation mostly focused on what's actually canon in the game rather than extensive headcanons about their background/past/history.

Other than that, I love Johnny so much - this narcissistic, charismatic, self-centred piece of shit who realised way too late that he actually cares about some people in his life. He's so angry and messed up about the world and just raging helplessly at it. I love that he's not even remotely a good or a nice person. Same with Kerry - he's not a bad guy, but he's kind of a self-centred douchebag, too, and I love him for it. These two just have so many issues and that's what makes them fun. With Takemura, I love that he's quite affable and likeable ... he's just Lawful as fuck and devoted to a horrible system - and I have such a soft spot for the lawful, dutiful types.

Note: Despite my usual "serious illness and character death" DNW, I'm mostly fine with it to a canonical extent here. So mentions (or even detailed explorations) of the fact that V is dying, and all the ways in which the relic is hurting him, are fine. Anything relating to that that I've specifically prompted is fine. The fact that Johnny is technically dead (and that Kerry mourned him for decades) is also fine. I'd just prefer a fic that isn't exclusively focused on death and dying and nothing else (and please no non-canonical deaths or extra illnesses).

Johnny Silverhand/Kerry Eurodyne

Aaaaaah, they're so messed up about each other! I love that it's been fifty years and Kerry is still not over Johnny. Fifty years and he still wonders what Johnny would think of him, fifty years and his eyes still light up like that when he realises that Johnny is back. Fifty years and he immediately recognises Johnny playing the guitar, and he's so angry at him, but he also missed him so much. And I love that their relationship isn't really as one-sided as it appears at first - Johnny doesn't like admitting he cares about anyone, but he clearly does care about Kerry. In the present, but also in the past - considering he tried to stop him from leaving the band several times. He wanted Kerry around, for all his bitching about Kerry just being the "second fiddle" in his life and not as amazing as him and whatnot.

I love how completely messed up their relationship is - it's very "can't live with you, can't live without you". They're crazy about each other, but also awful to each other half the time. I'm mostly looking for a messy amour fou sort of thing, rather than for something fluffy (though I don't mind them being happy together, I just imagine it's Complicated a lot of the time). I love them being kind of obsessive about each other and horrible to anyone else the other one sleeps with and manipulative and half the time they argue and half the time they adore each other. Give me all the fucked up rockerboy love.

I would happily read fic set in the past as well as fic set during the game when Johnny is stuck in male V's body and V occasionally lets Johnny out to play. I'm also good with some kind of post-canon AU in which Johnny and V continue to share a body, just without dying (I love the endings being what they are, but continued bodysharing is great for fic). Or even a AU in which Johnny somehow gets a new body and he and V both get to live.

(Don't feel like you have to, but since canon never gives us their exact ages and Johnny looks a good deal older than Kerry in the flashbacks, I really love the idea of them meeting when Kerry is 16-18 and Johnny is in his late 20s (underage is totally fine), and Kerry crushes hard on this cool, slightly older guy and Johnny enjoys the hell out of the attention (while also falling for him) ... I think it really works well for their relationship. But if you prefer writing them as being the same age, that's fine, too.)

• how did they meet? heard each other strumming on the street somewhere? jammed a bit together in a guitar shop, stole a guitar, ran from the cops? got in a fight at a bar for some stupid reason (with each other, or fighting someone else together)? one of them heard the other play a gig with his previous band?
• they're both such music geeks! jamming together, composing together, arguing about songs they're writing together - I love that for all of Johnny's dickishness towards Kerry, he clearly respects him much more as a musician than he wants to admit. him listening to Kerry play on the yacht for I don't know how long without saying a word? I don't think Johnny is that quiet and still in any other scene in the game - I'd love more of that
• Kerry wrote a lot of songs that are (more or less obviously) about Johnny over the years - when Johnny comes back from the dead and finds out, he wants to be a dick about it, but he's also touched (also: Johnny playing one of Kerry's songs about him, or Johnny actually writing a song about Kerry)
• related: Johnny has a thing for Kerry's hands/fingers
• all the times Kerry shamelessly hit on Johnny and Johnny said no (and maybe the one time he finally said yes?)
• all the UST-filled arguments they had over the years they played together in Samurai
• Johnny can tell Rogue that the one thing he'd do differently if he had the chance was to fuck Kerry - through *handwave* plot reasons Johnny gets sent back into the past when he and V are separated and finally has a chance to do that, or maybe that conversation simply makes him realise that he now has a second chance to finally give Kerry what he always wanted.
• Johnny (says/thinks he) doesn't want to fuck Kerry, but that won't stop him from watching Kerry sleep with other guys while they make very intense eye contact at each other (maybe Johnny even orders the other guy around and tells him how to fuck Kerry)
• Johnny used to fuck Kerry (and was maybe even in love with him), but he edited that out of his memories in Mikoshi. cue lots of anger when Kerry realises this, and lots of angst on Johnny's part because how can he even be sure he's still himself if he can't trust his memories? (I'd be up for Johnny eventually regaining the memories.)
• Johnny kept Kerry from leaving Samurai several times - maybe Kerry only stayed on the condition that ... Johnny kissed him, fucked him, blew him, anything fun like that (and Johnny pretended he was only doing it to make him stay, but he enjoyed it more than he wants to admit) - I kind of enjoy how much Johnny is like an abusive boyfriend who is a dick to Kerry when he has him, but doesn't let him leave either because he's possessive (really, don't worry about going too hard on just how unhealthy and fucked up their relationship is)
• or conversely: when Kerry tries to leave him the band, Johnny decides the best way to make him stay is to finally give him what he wants and fuck him (can be very dubcon-y if Kerry was so furious he wasn't even in the mood, but he should end up enjoying himself)
• something set during those years after Samurai broke up, but Johnny and Kerry were still touring together, still in each other's space and never really getting over each other
• the reason they never fucked in the past is because Johnny, by himself, really is straight - but he gets stuck in the head of a gay male V and their whole mindmelding business makes him appreciate Kerry in ways he never has before ...
• they always argue, sometimes their arguments end with fucking roughly against the nearest surface (maybe this only happens in the present, too, and they realise they get along so much better when they can fuck out their issues with each other)
• I love how grabby and shameless and demanding Kerry is in his sex scene with V, even while bottoming - so give me Johnny finding out about this and being super into it
• it turns out Johnny wasn't into cute twink!Kerry, but to his surprise he's really into slightly older-looking, more masculine 2077!Kerry with the beard and a bit more muscle ... related: Johnny wasn't into young Kerry trying to be cute at him, but he's really into pushy, grabby Kerry telling men exactly how he expects to get fucked
• (past or present) Johnny usually tops when they fuck because that's clearly "less gay" or some nonsense - but over time, maybe once he finds out that Kerry actually likes both topping and bottoming, he can't stop thinking about what it'd be like to let Kerry fuck him, since he already likes Kerry bossing him around ... TLDR: Johnny discovering to his surprise he may have a bit of a subby side and also that there's nothing he doesn't want to try out with Kerry
• Kerry has pretty much the most gorgeous cyberware in the entire game, and he didn't have that yet back when Johnny still lived (not even those very blue eyes) - Johny wants to find it ridiculous and stupid, but he's also very, very into it (especially Kerry's absolutely gorgeous throat, because throat kink :D)
• speaking of throat kink: Johnny canonically likes getting choked - either Kerry already knew about this before they ever fucked, or Kerry had no idea and Johnny just asks him to do it when they finally fuck (Kerry riding Johnny's dick while choking him? :D)
• related: Kerry putting his belt around Johnny's neck to choke him and drag him around a bit by it - Johnny is very surprised by how much he's into something that's basically a leash
• soulmate AU (I'm very partial to shared scars) but Johnny despises the idea of soulmates and anybody telling him who he's meant to be with, so he refuses to get together with Kerry. He doesn't realise he actually wants to be with him until during/post-canon - maybe only after he sees that Kerry had the scars or whatever other soulmate mark there is removed and Johnny realises he hates that.
• if Johnny lives (whether in V's body or otherwise) - what will he get up to now? how does that fit with his new thing with Kerry? or does he only go to Kerry again to fess up that he maybe changed his mind about them post-canon?
• Temperance ending, but Johnny goes to see Kerry instead of leaving Night City ... and maybe Kerry's money or just Kerry kicking Johnny's ass help bring V back somehow (whether in the same or a new body), after giving Johnny and Kerry some time to get closer again. (V doesn't have to appear in person for this, but I'd like there to be at least the possibility of him returning)
• Johnny gets control of V's body for one night before he canonically goes to see Rogue and Kerry - he runs into Kerry accidentally (assuming Kerry ever leaves the house, lol), maybe at a bar, and decides to see how he's doing, but without telling him (immediately) that it's him ... and then he can get worried because Kerry is clearly depressed and suicidal. (I'd also take the identity porn version of Johnny sleeping with Kerry without telling him who he is - Kerry will be furious, but that might just snap him out of his apathy)
• just in case anyone else ships both Kerry/Johnny and Takemura/V, I'd love to see the hilarious mess of a situation if V and Johnny continue sharing a body while Johnny is sleeping with Kerry and V is sleeping with Takemura - it sounds like it'd be simultaneously funny, messed up and incredibly awkward, especially since Johnny and Takemura can't stand each other

Johnny Silverhand/Male V

This relationship was really the highlight of the game for me, from the antagonistic start to that very quick development towards "I would literally die for you", complete with nonstop banter and complaining about each other, and the forced intimacy of being stuck in one head and sharing all their emotions and memories and not being able to hide anything from each other. It's such an intense, amazingly developed relationship in canon, and I want more of that. I love how Johnny is objectively the worst thing that ever happened to V ... but after losing him, V feels completely lonely and empty and just misses him (and same if Johnny is the one to lose V). /o\ So clearly they belong together forever.

I'd love fic set during canon, whether early on or towards the end, but I'd also be up for any kind of post-canon AU in which they both survive - whether as continued bodysharing or with Johnny in a new body (though I'd prefer him looking/sounding like himself). If you want to involve Kerry in this, I have Johnny/Kerry/V prompts below. I'd also be up for V sleeping with both Takemura and Johnny (who continue to hate each other). I'm less into V hooking up with any other canon characters, though V sleeping with random OMCs before he and Johnny get together is of course fine.

• weird bodysharing sex! They seem to be able to touch each other to some extent, so how does that work? Or does Johnny just talk dirty to V while V jerks off and make suggestions? Does Johnny enjoy the shared sensations? Do their preferences become more similar? Does Johnny tell V to choke himself a little because obviously he's going to be into that now?
• I'm always up for Johnny having a lot of issues with being into a guy (whether he was genuinely straight and it's only mindmelding with V that makes him be into guys, or he was always bi but has a looooot of hangups and internalised homophobia about it) - maybe he tells himself bodysharing sex doesn't count, it's just jerking off! (and what happens in a post-canon verse in which they have separate bodies and Johnny still wants to have sex with V? how is fucking in normal physical bodies different from their mind sex?)
• V trying to piss Johnny off by fucking as many guys as possible early on (if you want to combine this with V/Takemura, I'm here for that - Johnny would be so mad) - complete with some voyeurism and Johnny maybe commenting on what's happening
• Johnny sabotaging V's attempts at dating any of those guys because he actually wants to keep him to himself, but he's too emotionally constipated to just say that - V eventually snaps at him that he doesn't get to tell V what to do unless they're together, and maybe that's when Johnny confesses that that's what he'd like
• V can wear a lot of Johnny's clothes in the game - turns out Johnny is very much into that (also, V in a separate body still dressing like Johnny because it makes him feel closer to him - Johnny is still into that)
• if V and Johnny somehow survive in the same body and have to bodyshare for good, how does that work? do they share their time equally? (I'd prefer if V was conscious when Johnny is in charge, too) does Johnny convince him to grow out his hair, while V possibly still keeps it dyed in ridiculous colours? do they just randomly switch who's in control when they feel like it?
• if they survive in separate bodies: maybe they're both relieved at first and want to get away from each other ... only to realise that they got so used to being around each other that they can barely stand to be apart. maybe they keep living together in merc legend V's fancy flat, maybe that's when they start touching each other and going from more or less platonic touching to fucking, because that's somehow the most intimacy they can still achieve after sharing a brain. (are they unbearable to be around? do they voice every damn thought they have and finish each other's sentences? do they still bicker nonstop? outside POVs would be fun)
• people assume V and Johnny in separate bodies are a couple because they go everywhere together (maybe work together as mercs sometimes?) - V is very okay with that, Johnny seems to hate the idea ... until he realises that there might be some truth to it
• maybe they miss sharing a brain so much they find some way to link their minds again - something related to braindance tech or to the tech Panam and V used for the tank - so now they can have ridiculous telepathic conversations again, probably while confusing everyone else around them
• all the identity porn: one of them having to pretend to be the other; all the clothes changes when they switch who's in charge; people recognising who's in charge because they're so different ...
• I love all those little comfortable moments in canon, just the two of them doing stuff together like the rollercoaster date or finding who's behind Swedenborg-Riviera just because Johnny is excited about the whole thing and wants to know
• V smoking for Johnny's sake is great. more of that please. (maybe post-separation, V keeps smoking)
• anything dealing with the forced emotional intimacy when Johnny is absolute shit at admitting he cares about people - probably the first time in his life he can't pretend not to care about someone
• anything dealing with the age difference! Johnny must have been a good 20 years older than V when he died (I prefer V being 22 to 27)
• Johnny and V in separate bodies working together - doing merc work that Johnny doesn't disapprove of, but also doing the occasional bit of anarchist terrorism for Johnny's sake. helping each other, saving each other's life, taking bullets for each other, angsting when the other one gets badly injured, patching each other up, dramatically carrying each other to Vik's clinic ...
• but also: Johnny getting back into music (maybe with Kerry?) because he's trying to be less self-destructive while V continues his merc legend life
• anything dealing with all the ways in which they become more similar - sudden shared tastes in food, new kinks they acquire from each other, opinions they start sharing, things they're suddenly both angry about ...
• Johnny and Takemura have to work together to save V, who got kidnapped/captured. They continue to hate each other, but have to set that aside for V's sake. Could involve Johnny in a suit or Takemura dressing down. Will probably involve V having wild threesome fantasies that Johnny and Takemura are both not up for.
• any variation on the canon endings in which one of them is actually dead for a while - Temperance ending and Johnny has to find a way to bring V back to life, of merc legend ending and V's space heist is not just about finding a way to save his own life, but also about procuring a new body for Johnny's engram. feel free to handwave as much plot as you like, but I'd love to see either of them actually having to live with the guilt and shame of surviving and letting the other one die for a few weeks or months, until they find a way to bring the other one back
• one of the side effects of his brain slowly turning into Johnny's (and maybe this particular side effect persists even after whatever handwavey solution happens to make them both survive) is that V can't feel/move his left arm anymore because his/Johnny's brain thinks it shouldn't be there, so V eventually has it replaced with a chrome arm - Johnny gets worried and freaks out a bit about it because what if V is still dying somehow? not to mention that losing his arm was kinda traumatic for him, so he might not like the idea of V doing that to himself (feel free to ignore my no-serious-injuries/amputation DNW for this one; body horror very welcome, just as long as V ends up with a functioning chrome arm he's happy with in the end)

Johnny Silverhand/Kerry Eurodyne/Male V

Now with all three of them! Feel free to use any of the prompts/ideas listed above for Johnny/Kerry and Johnny/V. :) I love V's relationship with both of them - how antagonistic he and Johnny start out and then slowly grow closer (while also becoming more similar to each other), and also how V and Kerry's relationship starts with Kerry just seeing V as a way to see Johnny again, but then actually growing to like V himself, too. It makes for a fascinating triangle where all three characters are, in one way or another, really into each other. And I imagine they'd all have their insecurities about the other two - V about all that history Johnny and Kerry share, Kerry about the fact that V and Johnny literally share a brain and body and it doesn't get much more intimate than that, Johnny about the fact that Kerry and V actually have something resembling a functional, happy relationship.

As with the previous requests, I'd be up for fic set during canon or, especially for this ship, an AU long-term solution where Johnny and V either have to share a body forever and they're both kind of dating Kerry (and possibly also sleeping with each other when Kerry isn't around) and it's messy and complicated, but still works somehow, or an AU in which Johnny somehow gets himself a new body that looks like him.

• as above, Johnny was always convinced he's straight ... until he was in the passenger seat in V's head while V was fucking Kerry and suddenly he looks at Kerry very differently (and it probably takes him a while to admit that he's interested)
• Kerry asking V if Johnny is watching while they fuck, if Johnny can hear them, if Johnny can feel what V feels - Kerry going out of his way to give V the night of his life because he wants to show Johnny everything he's been missing out on

• I have a lot of feelings about V and Johnny's relationship and also about that whole mindmelding/turning into one person thing they've got going on - so maybe Johnny tries to be halfway supportive (read: not horrible) when V starts hooking up with his best friend, but he realises sooner or later that he's jealous and wants in on that, and he's not even sure if those are his feelings or V's (maybe V also isn't sure if his feelings for Kerry are his own or Johnny's long repressed attraction/affection for him)
• sometimes Johnny and V switch who's in control while in bed with Kerry - Kerry always notices immediately, of course, and loves it. I'd love some contrasts between them, maybe Johnny is a lot rougher than V is, a lot more dominant and demanding, maybe there are some differences in what they like or don't like
• V can feel Johnny touching him, right? certainly looks like it in some scenes - so, Johnny fucking V while V fucks Kerry, and Kerry can't see Johnny, but he can see V reacting to Johnny ...
• during V and Judy's braindance experiment, Judy can hear some of Johnny's thoughts - maybe V and Kerry try out something similar so Kerry can actually interact with Johnny more directly
• if you give Johnny a new body somehow, I also wouldn't say no to a more "conventional" threesome (and Johnny having to admit that he actually wants to do this even without the excuse that he only wants this because he's stuck in V's head and V is into Kerry)
• Johnny and V in separate bodies are still inseparable - this makes Kerry and V dating somewhat awkward ... cue Johnny being literally in the same room while they fuck. Kerry is eventually fed up with this nonsense and demands that Johnny either leave or join. He expects Johnny to leave, but Johnny joins them instead ...
• Johnny usually tops with both Kerry and V, but he gets curious about what it feels like because they both clearly love it so much (and if Johnny is still sharing a body with V, he can literally feel what it's like to get fucked by Kerry) - sooner or later he wants to try it out. maybe Kerry and V can gang up on him or seduce him together?
• Kerry suggests introducing V to people as his new input before the concert in canon - I'd love some weird fake-dating stuff while Johnny is along for the ride, Kerry flirting with V and V being way too into it but thinking Kerry doesn't really mean it, Johnny making fun of V or maybe trying to encourage him to go for it ...
• V and Kerry have a more loving, tender relationship, Johnny and Kerry argue more and then fuck hard on tables - but sometimes they each want what the other usually gets, so V and Johnny kind of roleplay each other with Kerry (who's well aware of what's going on, but finds it kind of charming and still hot - and maybe he can give them some advice on better roleplaying for next time). maybe eventually Kerry decides this is really silly and they both just need to admit to what they want
• Johnny and Kerry used to fuck, but Johnny was extremely weird about it and didn't talk about it - now he tries to play matchmaker for V, telling him what Kerry likes, maybe pretending he doesn't want to be with Kerry anymore but being very bad at it ..
• Temperance ending, but Johnny goes to see Kerry instead of leaving Night City ... and maybe Kerry's money or just Kerry kicking Johnny's ass help bring V back somehow (whether in the same or a new body), after giving Johnny and Kerry some time to get closer again.
• Johnny is actually happy for Kerry and V, they're good for each other, he wants them to be happy. It's fine! He's not at all jealous about Kerry being in love with someone who's not him nor about V spending so much time with somebody else. (He is absolutely jealous and just needs to realise he wants to be part of what they have.)
• or: Johnny is incredibly jealous because he used to sleep with Kerry and now Kerry seems actually over him and happily in love with V??? that hurts his feelings and his ego, but he's probably incredibly bad at communicating that he wants in on their relationship
• Kerry and V are dating; Johnny and V have weird bodysharing sex, which Kerry doesn't know about. he's hurt when he finds out because that seems like cheating no matter how much Johnny claims it's "just like jerking off". cue some drama and maybe a temporary breakup, until all three of them figure out that what they really want is for all three of them to be together.
• Johnny insists he's not interested in Kerry and V's typical boyfriend stuff like watching TV together while cuddling ... except he and Kerry probably did live together at some point in the past and did domestic things, and he does want those, he just has no idea how to ask for them - maybe V helps him figure it out?
• same prompt as above: one of the side effects of his brain slowly turning into Johnny's (and maybe this particular side effect persists even after whatever handwavey solution happens to make them both survive) is that V can't feel/move his left arm anymore because his/Johnny's brain thinks it shouldn't be there, so V eventually has it replaced with a chrome arm - Johnny and Kerry both get worried and freak out a bit about it because what if V is still dying somehow? not to mention that losing his arm was kinda traumatic for Johnny, so he might not like the idea of V doing that to himself (feel free to ignore my no-serious-injuries/amputation DNW for this one; body horror very welcome, just as long as V ends up with a functioning chrome arm he's happy with in the end)

Goro Takemura/Male V

Oh, Takemura. How is he so hot? And so weirdly adorable? You know, for a lawful neutral/evil corpo loyalist who's devoted to an evil bastard? I really love how he has both moments of being perfectly formal and polite, and moments of being a rude, angry dick (especially at V). I love his constant complaints about Night City and food. I love him talking about cats, I love that he cooks, and I really love how quickly his relationship with V goes from genuine disdain to much more light-hearted, friendly banter. They form such a great connection with each other so very quickly.

Like I said above, I like Streetkid!V and I like that it makes them both come from very similar backgrounds that they both were driven and determined to escape, but they went about it in very, very different ways and ended up with very different worldviews. It makes for really fascinating contrasts and conflicts between them - lawful, serious corpo bodyguard and trashy streetkid with no taste is just a fun dynamic. But I'd also be up for a Corpo!V who shares Takemura's worldview at least in part, and they're both in the same position of having been cast out by the corporation they dedicated their lives to (and maybe they'd both like to find a way to go back). I guess those two would have a happier ending, since I don't really see Streetkid!V not picking one of the endings that make Takemura very, very mad at you. ;) But for this, too, I'm very happy with AUs for the ending in which not everything goes for shit - as much as I like that for canon, I don't mind happier scenarios for fic. I'd also love for V and Takemura to reconcile after their, er, breakup, to put it mildly.

I also really enjoy the big age difference between them - V who's still fairly young and just starting out in life with all these big dreams and plans (before he started dying, that is), whereas Takemura has pretty much achieved everything he wanted to achieve, he had success and respect before his life went to shit.

While I never really object to switching, I'm very much into Takemura topping V. They can mix things up sometimes! I just don't want exclusively bottom!Takemura because him topping V is just too hot.

• how/when do they hook up for the first time? early on because they both need to distract themselves from their life going to shit? not until they become friendlier? not until right before the finale? not until post-finale? I'm good with anything
• Takemura is beat up, bruised, and dirty, so V offers to take him home and let him use his shower - things go from there
• Takemura really likes long, hot baths (the one luxury he ever had time for), V of course has no bathtub, so he calls in a favour from Kerry to use his fancy bathroom at his villa for an evening - things go from there (maybe V has a thing for Takemura's hair, just saying)
• V is a filthy little thief with no manners who clearly needs to get slapped around some more and also spanked, right? :)
• but also: Takemura's hair is gorgeous and V should pull on it while fucking his throat; and the power thrill from having Takemura on his knees might just make V's head explode; anyway, my point is: hair kink

• what do they get up to post-canon (again, feel free to handwave or do however much plotting you like for some canon divergence, or just stick with canon): Takemura and Afterlife legend!V meeting again when V still only has six months to live and Takemura is utterly furious at him, but still wants to see him again before he dies? or the same, but V isn't dying anymore for reasons? Takemura making good on that promise to show V Tokyo? Takemura and V on the run together for some reason? Takemura being there when corpo!V who took the deal somehow gets a new body and gets pulled out of Mikoshi, and they finally get a chance to spend some more time together then?
• one specific thing I'd really love: Takemura who gets burnt by Araska again (maybe Hanako sees casting him out as a fitting punishment for failing to protect her father, knowing that killing him would be kinder) and now he's all alone and lost and doesn't know what to do with his life, so he turns to V? or he doesn't turn to V because he's still furious at him, but V comes to find/save him
• related: Takemura decides to kill V before planning to kill himself, as punishment for 1) fucking with Arasaka, 2) basically killing Saburo a second time (if Takemura found out about the construct from Hanako and said construct was destroyed in Mikoshi) - give me all the stalking, sexy angry fighting, and eventual realising that he doesn't want to kill V (or maybe V defeats Takemura when they fight, but instead of killing him, he decides to nurse him back to health)
• outside POVs, or just other people finding out about them, would be fun, whether that's V's other friends (Judy? Rogue? Viktor?) finding out he's screwing Saburo Arasaka's (ex-)bodyguard or people in Takemura's life (Oda? any other friends or family he might have?) finding out about him having a really weird, but apparently quite happy affair with this much younger mercenary
• speaking of, anything emphasising the considerable age difference between them is very welcome
• on a shallow note: just how much of Takemura's body is mechanical? just how into that is V? :D
• just in case anyone else ships both Kerry/Johnny and Takemura/V, I'd love to see the hilarious mess of a situation if V and Johnny continue sharing a body while Johnny is sleeping with Kerry and V is sleeping with Takemura - it sounds like it'd be simultaneously funny, messed up and incredibly awkward, especially since Johnny and Takemura can't stand each other
• Johnny and Takemura have to work together to save V, who got kidnapped/captured. They continue to hate each other, but have to set that aside for V's sake. Could involve Johnny in a suit or Takemura dressing down. Will probably involve V having wild threesome fantasies that Johnny and Takemura are both not up for.

Far Cry 5
Joseph Seed/Jacob Seed/John Seed (and every combination of them)

Just to be clear: I absolutely ship all three of them together, but I'd be just as happy to read about just two of them with the third one either not appearing at all or not appearing in a shippy way. I'd just ask that you didn't go out of your way to explicitly tell me that they're totally not into the third brother, because I like to imagine that all three of them being together is at least a possibility. :)

I love everything about these three evil bastards. Villainous loyalty kink, devotion, each having their own personal brand of evilness, fucked up tragic backstories, religious weirdness, starting a cult together, murdering and torturing people together, those very different relationships they have with each other - these three really have it all. It's like someone tailor-made them for me. And I love how absolutely batshit insane all three of them are in their own way, completely obsessive and ruthless about it, and I'd really love to see how they all feel about each other's respective batshit insanity, I mean, er, dedication to doing the right thing. ;)

Also, after writing these prompts, I realised they were basically all variations of "oh god I want everything I love them" - I'm sorry? I hope this is still somewhat helpful. But I'm so starved for fic about them that I do, in fact, want everything

• backstory! I especially want to know all about Joseph finding Jacob and/or John when they were at their lowest and saving them - what did he tell them? how did they react to Joseph showing up? did it take Joseph time to convince them and pull them out of their depressed buzz or were they immediately happy to follow him?
• related, I'd love to see more about the early days of the cult - in the game they've already taken over and aren't playing nice anymore, but I'd love to see the earlier recruitment stuff, the preaching and the propaganda and convincing people to join, John's political and legal scheming to acquire all that land, Joseph and John's preaching, the beginnings of Jacob's little army ... also, the songs! how did those (frankly fantastic) propaganda folk songs start? when did Joseph write his Word of Joseph? at what point did John go full torture-dungeon on people when converting them?
• I love Joseph's and John's over-the-top religiousness - how does that play into any incestuous inclinations? does John just say yes to everything his brothers suggest? do they angst about it? does Joseph come up with a convenient reason why this is totally okay? or do they think for a while that it's a horrible sin they need to atone for? what about Jacob - less religious fervour there, but does he feel bad for wanting the brothers he's supposed to protect, or does he think they're all above such petty moral concerns?
• Joseph/Jacob: I love their dynamics of the older brother being the follower, and how that balances things out between them a little, with Jacob being the only person who isn't afraid of Joseph - does Joseph sometimes still put him in his place (or try to) or does he talk to Jacob when he wants to hear an honest opinion (does he ever want to hear an honest opinion)? do they argue a lot (what with that "he fought me" line in the eulogy)? how does Joseph feel about Jacob's lack of religious fervour - accept it or try to convert him still? and does Joseph ever manage to offer Jacob some comfort for his Tragic Past (TM) despite that?
• Joseph/John: I love that John both worships Joseph and is terrified of him, I love his eagerness to please and fucked up parental issues that he projects onto Joseph (I generally love how much of a fucking MESS John is, he's broken in so many fascinating ways), and Joseph loves him but is clearly not above manipulating him (possibly while telling himself it's for John's own good/to rein in his worst impulses) - and also, Joseph likes to criticise John's sadism at times, but also enables it, so how does that work in his mind? I also like them bonding over their whole religious rapture thing; oh, and I'd love John guiltily confessing that he wants Joseph (and Jacob) because he's all about exposing his horrible sins and atoning for them and being punished ... and then Joseph gives him what he wants instead of punishing him
• Jacob/John: I'd love to see them interact since that's not really something canon gave us - I could see some jealousy on John's side about Jacob being, in a way, a rival for Joseph's love (and also much more of Joseph's equal), but at the same time they might well have a more normal brotherly relationship (minus the whole Father and Messiah thing John has with Joseph) - I like Jacob being protective of him, and I like John trying to make him see the light (or maybe enjoying that Jacob isn't really his responsibility to guide and to convert); I like them bonding over their devotion to Joseph even as it comes from very different places, and maybe also bonding over their very inappropriate attraction to him (especially if they think Joseph doesn't feel that way about them); I'd also be up for John starting some very fucked up attempts at finally making Jacob find his faith (even if it means hurting him? or trying to?) - or conversely Jacob deciding to take John on a hunting&survival trip to toughen him up, and maybe ending up quite impressed with how much John can take?; I'd love to see them find common ground once they're reunited despite having lived such extremely different lives
• and if you throw all three of them together, how does that go? is John jealous of what Jacob and Joseph have? how does Jacob feel about Joseph pretty shamelessly manipulating John? how does Joseph feel about his brothers maybe turning to each other for comfort about this whole incestuous attraction business rather than to him?
• throw as much religious stuff over all this as you like - sexy confessions, sexy punishments, begging for forgiveness, kneeling, their whole scarification and tattoo kink (does Jacob have any of those, hidden under his clothes? did John or Joseph insist? did Jacob want them, for his own reasons?), guilt and lots of talk about shameful sins, but also convoluted justifications for why it's totally fine for them to love each other that way ...

Mass Effect

Because I'm very frustrated the games didn't let me romance the characters I wanted to romance most. I adore Shepard's relationship with both Garrus and James so much: that undying loyalty, will-follow-you-to-the-end-of-the-galaxy friendship he has with Garrus, and how much renegade Shepard enables Garrus's darker impulses and how much they just get each other; and that more complicated relationship with James, the fact that James massively hero-worshipped Shepard before meeting him, and then babysat him for six months when Shepard was at his lowest, and then in ME3 he really feels like one of the people who keep Shepard grounded, who are aware that he's human and that this war is taking a toll on him, that his hero is fallible.

I strongly prefer renegade Shepard (who is nicer to his companions/friends) - ruthless and efficient, the end justifies the means, snarky and intimidating, willing to do whatever needs to be done, no matter the cost to himself or to others. Should it come up, I really prefer him sabotaging the genophage cure for that reason because Shepard having to kill two of his friends to do what he thinks is right is such a horrifically great moment in the games. I picked the Spacer/Ruthless backgrounds and vanguard as his class, but I'm not fixated on that, if you want to use something else. Ending-wise, I think for fic a handwavey "the Crucible destroyed the Reapers without destroying the geth, and Shepard is alive" works best. I'd also be super interested in a variation of the Control ending, though, in which Shepard doesn't die while uploading part of himself into a God-AI, simply because the mindfuck of co-existing with an all-powerful AI version of yourself must be incredible. In general, I love stoic and/or angry suffering, so feel free to whump Shepard hard as long as there's a happy-ish ending.

I'm very attached to his default looks and name, so please no custom Shepards. I love pretty much all the other companions and am happy to read about them. My other faves are Zaeed, Legion, Miranda, Jack, Cortez, Mordin, Joker, Grunt, Samara, Traynor.

Male Shepard/Garrus Vakarian

• all the awkward getting together scenarios, whether it's something similar to the canon romance for femShep or something completely different (though I wouldn't want a simple retelling of the canon romance just with mShep, please). I'd love them hooking up to blow off steam, but I'd also be really interested in a fic in which they pine and pine for ages while thinking their friend doesn't want anything more than friendship - maybe they only sleep with each other just before the final assault on Earth because they both know they might die, or maybe it's only after Shepard almost died at the end of the game that they do something about all that attraction
• I love Garrus being confused by his attraction to a human - whereas Shepard is maybe more chill about being into a turian. I'd be definitely here for Garrus seeing Shepard hook up with turians when they're on the Citadel and having very complicated feelings about it (jealousy? but why would he be jealous, shouldn't he be glad his friend is getting laid? relief? but why would he be relieved that Shepard is clearly into turians when Garrus is tooootally not interested in him that way ...)
• Shepard hurting and Garrus being (almost) the only one who catches on and sees through his "I'm totally fine" facade is like catnip to me (that scene when Garrus figures out Shepard sabotaged the genophage cure and killed Mordin is one of my favourites). More of that, always. Shepard getting captured by someone and tortured or raped or otherwise hurt, or he has to make more awful decisions that weigh on him, and he bottles it all up and refuses to talk about it and Garrus is just quietly there for him (and cheers him up with snark and shooting competitions).
• so, mhm, Garrus clearly has an awkward romantic streak and Shepard ... not so much. I'm all for the hilarity that may ensue from that.
• post-canon fic: I'm all for Shepard being badly hurt/in a coma and nobody knowing if he'll live for a while. I'm also here for post-war Shepard having lots of trouble readjusting to a normal life (well, what counts as normal for him, he's still a soldier - I'm not interested in him retiring). How do you even have a normal life if you're the fucking saviour of the galaxy? I can see him running away from all that to his usual marine duties and chasing the next battle and refusing to deal with how weirdly numb and empty he feels without death constantly looming.
• I love turians in general and am super interested in more worldbuilding for them: relationship traditions/expectations, meeting Garrus's family, stuff like grooming, possible issues with an interspecies relationship, possible issues with Garrus dating someone who's in essence his commanding officer as long as he serves on the Normandy (is that acceptable for turians or not?) ... I'm always interested in cultural differences and misunderstandings (also ye goode olde trope of one of them doing something innocuous the other misunderstands as a romantic overture, or conversely doing something romantic the other misunderstands as friendly or even insulting ...)
• porn is always good. I like Shepard bottoming (and being demanding about it); I like desperate we-might-die/you-almost-died sex; I like sparring leading to sex; I like xeno weirdness (I'd like turians to have a dick and an ass, but beyond that feel free to include lots of xeno weirdness liked barbed or ridged dicks or whatever, just spare me the word cloaca please) and kinking on each other's differences (Shepard loving the scratch of Garrus's talons, Garrus getting off on how soft Shepard's skin is, things like that).

Male Shepard/James Vega

• I'd really love casual hooking up during the war while they slowly develop feelings they're trying to ignore because this is so not the time (I like Shepard especially refusing to think about what might happen post-war, because he doesn't really expect to survive it)
• related: pining while sleeping with each other, especially on James's side - wondering if there's more to this or if the Commander is just blowing off steam, wondering if they'll keep doing this after the war, wondering if he's being stupid for wanting more ...
• Vega's constant insistence that he's totally straight sounds so much like protesting too much that I'd love to see some repression/denial from him. Nooo, he's totally not attracted to men; it's perfectly normal to jerk off with a buddy, right? Or appreciate the muscles on another guy at the gym? That's not gay. And then Shepard just kind of ... steamrolls over him because they might die any day, he's either getting laid or not, none of that "jerking off together" nonsense. Or maybe they do start with things like that and Shepard keeps escalating it to more and Vega is way more into it than he ever thought he'd be. (I would like James to be very enthusiastic about it all, though, please nothing as uncomfortably creepy as the Citadel DLC hookup of "get him drunk so he does things he wouldn't do otherwise".)

They're already buddies who love a good snark and clearly like each other, so that's a good start.

I don't have specific prompts as such; I'd love to see any of the things I've requested above just for all three of them together. Whumping Shepard, post-canon fic, weird cultural differences, some conflicts about wanting a human/turian/dude, lots of porn (double-teaming Shepard y/y?). I love how ridiculously competitive Garrus and James are, and I'd love to see that extend to sex and ridiculous competitions like who can make Shepard come faster, or fuck him for longer, anything like that.

Any set-up for this is good. Whether you start with Shepard/Garrus and James joins them somehow, or Shepard/James getting together and Garrus thinks he missed his chance (but he didn't), or Shepard having mad UST with both of them and maybe eventually deciding he wants them both, or hell, even Garrus and James hooking up over their pining for Shepard and Shepard wondering why the hell he wasn't invited. ;)


Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Canderous Ordo/Male Revan

I strongly prefer Dark Side Revan, although I'm also fine with a more morally grey version of Revan if that's what you want to write, who's not really interested in this whole binary opposition of good and evil, but just does his own thing. Actually even with Dark Side Revan I prefer Pragmatic Evil and ruthless, power-hungry ambition over Ludicrous Evil and "bwahahaha I kick puppies in my free time for the Evulz". Mostly I'm just not interested in redeemed, saintly Light Side Revan. If you want to include any of the other characters, that's fine by me, although I'd rather not read about Bastila. I especially love HK-47 because he's fucking hilarious.

• loyalty kink, because Canderous canonically just about worships the ground Revan walks on, so I'd love to see anything that expands on that - kneeling and hand-kissing and "loyal dog" rhetoric, including things liks Revan calling Canderous his dog in bed
• violent post-battle sex: Canderous loves a good fight and he considers Revan the greatest warrior who ever lived, so I bet they get up to a lot of blood-soaked fun after fights
• DS!Revan ruling the galaxy post-canon with Canderous as his general
• I'd also like to see disagreements between them, whether it's because you write a less unequivocally cruel and power-hungry Revan or simply because Revan and Canderous sometimes disagree on how to rule the galaxy or how to treat defeated enemies or whatever; I'd love to see Revan both respecting Canderous' opinion, and putting his foot down and reminding Canderous of his place when he's done arguing
• inappropriate uses of the Force: Force-choking, Force-bondage, rough pain play combined with Force-healing, inappropriate uses of telepathy - making Canderous hallucinate, making him feel Revan's presence in his mind, Revan controlling his body while letting Canderous be aware of what he's doing (I'm fine with dubcon, although I'd prefer if the relationship in itself was consensual/if Canderous basically considered it Revan's right to do whatever he likes with him) ... did I mention Force-choking? ;D
• mind bonds are generally a lot of fun to play around with: Revan staying in touch that way when they're apart, invading Canderous' dreams, commenting on Canderous' actions or thoughts, whispering into his brain when Canderous is jerking off or fucking someone else
• I'd prefer if Revan, no matter how DS, was at least somewhat emotionally attached to Canderous and didn't only consider him a useful tool; I also love the whole villains in love trope - Revan loving Canderous with all that mad, possessive Dark Side passion ...

The Witcher (game verse)
Geralt/Ciri

I'll never be over how much I love these two. Moving heaven and hell to save each other! The fact that Ciri seems completely incapable of talking to Geralt without touching him. The way they LOOK at each other. Mutual protectiveness, lying and killing for each other, fighting together, witcher!Ciri hitting the road with Geralt (I'm not really into Empress!Ciri).

For the record, I'm familiar with the show, but haven't read the books; but I'm fine with working in elements from either canon if you want to - I'd just prefer game canon when there are contradictions. As for canon ships, I'd prefer if we could treat all of Geralt's past canon ships as "I guess they happened, but they're over now and he's over them" (especially for Geralt/Yennefer, I really like the Last Wish side quest ending with him realising that, without the djinn, he just isn't that crazy about her). They can get mentioned, but I'd prefer if they didn't play a huge role.

Het-specific DNW: please no femdom or pegging. I also don't particularly enjoy reading about cunnilingus - brief mentions of it happening are fine, but I'd rather not have it be the main event or described in lengthy detail. And I hate the word "folds". Most of my prompts are for post (or during) canon fic, but should you have a great idea for something set earlier, go ahead - underage is perfectly fine down to about 15.

• post-canon fic, when they're witchering together or maybe settled down in Toussaint and just working when they feel like it
• sparring, fighting together, Geralt teaching her, mutual life-saving, patching each other up after battles ...
• lots of guilty pining and UST and trying to be in denial about it because they shouldn't be into each other, and anyway there's no way the other one feels the same, except it becomes harder and harder to be in denial and eventually all that UST explodes in their faces and they fuck and angst some more but eventually live happily ever after ...
• they're so touchy-feely in canon, so more of that please - less and less plausible deniability, touching that feels less and less platonic ...
• "Oh No They're Hot" moments: mostly Geralt having a moment of "oh no, she grew up and is hot now", but I'd also be up for grown-up Ciri only realising that her father figure is hot as fuck when they meet again
• Ciri pursuing what she wants because Geralt would just pine stoically and never do anything, so Ciri has to get him to break somehow (can be something sweeter and fluffier, can be her shamelessly teasing him until he breaks)
• maybe on top of everything else, Geralt assumes Ciri isn't into men because she's only ever expressed interest in women (I'd be very much here for Ciri never having slept with a guy until Geralt)
• what if Ciri doesn't come back immediately after the finale and Geralt assumes she died? he tries to move on, maybe goes to Toussaint and tries to start anew there, but he's absolutely devastated ... and then it turns out there was just some portal wonkiness and Ciri is back
• for porn: size kink, wall sex, manhandling - I have simple needs when it comes to het porn, and that's a big guy absolutely wrecking a much smaller woman against whatever surface is available and her loving every minute of it (probably after Ciri teased him so badly he's going a bit crazy)
• also: scar kink, sparring leading to sex, hurt/comfort wound tending leading to sex, bathing leading to sex, Geralt with his decades of experience blowing Ciri's mind ...
• I'm not usually into marriage fic, buuuut ... since they're pretending Ciri is dead ... what if people in Toussaint simply assume the young woman who moved in with Geralt is his new wife? and Geralt wants to correct them, but Ciri thinks it's a great cover! so now they're fake-married and Ciri will absolutely milk that for what it's worth to touch him in public while the UST gets worse ... (I love the whole Toussaint side cast, btw, especially Damien, so feel free to have them show up)
