Thank you for writing for me and having a look at this letter. I've got some general likes and dislikes listed - those are the important parts, really. They're followed by a list of kinks I like, should you feel inclined to write porn, and some fandom-specific prompts, but if those don't work for you - as long as you include a thing or two that I like and don't include my DNWs, I'm sure I will love whatever you write for me. :D
As a general rule, I enjoy all ratings; I like darker, angstier fic and more light-hearted stories, although neither completely conflictless fluff nor completely bleak darkfic without a ray of hope are quite my thing. I'm always happy about porn, but it's not a must. I like shorter fics and plotty longfic. If you do write porn and you want more smut-related prompts, I've requested most of these ships for Smut Swap before. The fandoms are listed alphabetically. The length of the fandom-specific sections doesn't indicate an order of preference; I just had more ideas and prompts for some of them.
I use the same name on AO3 and tumblr as here. Treats are always welcome (just mentioning this because of AO3's recent settings change).
Do Not Wants:
* I'm fine with mentions of characters' past relationships with OCs (and obviously with things like random OC couples in casefic or mentioning people's parents). However, I don't want these ships to play a central role: a character thinking back of how they tried out this kink before with some guy they hooked up with five years ago, or briefly thinking that they used to date this guy who hated it when they did X? Totally fine. A character spending half the fic thinking about or interacting with their ex? Not something I'm interested in.
Canon-specific: I'm fine with mentions of past canon relationships that were (almost) over before canon started (like Joseph/his wife for Far Cry 5). Brief mentions of Johnny's relationships with Alt or Rogue for Cyberpunk (or of Johnny and Kerry fucking other people) are fine, but I don't want those relationships (or thinking about those relationships) to play a huge role in the fic unless it's part of something I've specifically prompted. If a relationship only starts during canon (like Tali/Garrus for Mass Effect), please just have those characters not get together in the first place.
If I've requested several ships in a fandom, I'm fine with them appearing in the same fic.

Male Eivor/Sigurd Styrbjornson
Note: I'm fine with Sigurd's arm loss coming up, no need to retcon it (though I also wouldn't mind an AU in which he doesn't get his arm chopped off). But I'd prefer if he learnt how to fight again with his left hand and generally regained his strength, rather than him just feeling helpless and weak forever.
So anyway, this is the part where nobody is surprised that I came out of Valhalla shipping the two brothers who are SUPER INTENSE about each other. They love each other so much - Eivor is so utterly devoted to Sigurd and willing to move mountains for him, and Sigurd trusts Eivor so completely and relies on him and happily leaves him in charge and wants to rule together with him (well, at least until he gets his mind fucked with by Fulke and Basim). They obviously don't care about anyone else in their lives half as much as they do about each other, and it's glorious.
I also just generally really love Eivor - his poetic side, that he's a total badass, that he gets drunk and high all the time, that he's charismatic and could be a leader in his own right but he just really doesn't want to, he wants Sigurd back. I'm quite attached to him being blond, bearded and long-haired - you don't have to mention it in any way, of course, but I'd prefer if you didn't directly contradict it because that might throw me out of the fic for a moment. :) And I love Sigurd's ambition, I love that he's charismatic but also really full of himself, I love that he's kind of a dick, but apparently just immediately adored his new brother.
I really don't care for the Isu and the modern storyline. If it gets mentioned, I'll live, but I'd rather not get a fic that focuses much on it. I am totally okay with "Norse mythology is real" AUs in which they just have divine visions or something like that.
I'm happy to read underage for this ship (down to about 15 for Eivor). And they're very much brothers, adopted or not, so I'm all for leaning into the incest angle. I'm totally fine with mentions of any of Eivor's male canon hookups (and of Sigurd having slept with various other people in his life) as long as none of them are particularly romantic. For the non-marriage prompt, I'm fine with Sigurd and Randvi still being married or not (not like they seem to care all that much about each other) and with Randvi's unrequited thing for Eivor, but I'm not interested in Eivor returning her feelings.
AC: Sigurd remains jarl after the game
How I wanted the game to end! Does Eivor simply refuse to take the position? Does he accept temporarily but insist Sigurd take on his responsibilities again once he's healed and feels better? Do they rule together for a while, the way they wanted to anyway? How does Sigurd deal with having been gone for so long and everybody behaving like Eivor should be their leader?
AC: the prologue is Eivor and Sigurd's engagement party
Because that's genuinely the impression I got! I'd prefer if said party still goes as in canon, Eivor's parents die and he and Sigurd are raised as brothers. But they're also engaged! Maybe when the time comes to marry, nobody expects them to consumate it because they're brothers and they're both men, so heirs aren't happening anyway, it's just a symbol of alliance etc. Do they pine terribly because neither knows how to admit they'd like to be "properly" married? Does Sigurd playfully demand Eivor come to his bed and then realises Eivor is actually very okay with that? Does messed up I'm-a-god!Sigurd seriously demand Eivor finally come to his bed after years of symbolic marriage and ... realises Eivor is very okay with that? Do they both sleep around because it's not like they sleep with each other, but at some point one of them gets extremely jealous and snaps at some other guy who's putting his hands on what's theirs?
ALL: Society Allows Sibling Marriage as Platonic Partnership (But This One Isn't Platonic)
Similar to the prompt above, though here it would probably happen later in their lives. I'd also be up for some cultural differences here - is this a Viking tradition that everyone in England finds extremely confusing (are they brothers or husbands???)? Is it an English custom they hear about when they come to England and both love the idea of being at least symbolically married because nobody else will ever mean as much to them as the other one? Are they already sleeping with each other and grateful to have an easy explanation for why they share a bedroom (totally platonic sibling marriage, everyone!), or does their very platonic marriage lead to lots of pining for more? Do people eventually find out their marriage is very much not platonic?
Cyberpunk 2077
Oh God, this game. This game has eaten my brain. I love it so much. I adore the setting - the lore, the feeling of Night City, the politics, the absolute dystopian hellscape it is, the cars and the music and the ads and the media. I love that it manages to be simultaneously depressing and dark, utterly garish and hilarious, and genuinely emotionally touching in so many places. I love how real the characters feel, and I love how beautifully depressing and bittersweet the story is.
I went for Streetkid!V in my first playthrough because it works really well for the story in my opinion, and also for his relationship with Johnny. Ambitious, wanting to make something of himself, kinda trashy and obnoxious (I blame the horrible clothes I put him in for that), but not really a bad guy at heart. But don't feel like you have to write him that way if that doesn't work for you. I think Corpo!V could also be very interesting for Takemura/V (though less so when Johnny is involved). I'm just not particularly into the Nomad background. And in general, for player characters, I'd prefer the characterisation mostly focused on what's actually canon in the game rather than extensive headcanons about their background/past/history.
Other than that, I love Johnny so much - this narcissistic, charismatic, self-centred piece of shit who realised way too late that he actually cares about some people in his life. He's so angry and messed up about the world and just raging helplessly at it. I love that he's not even remotely a good or a nice person. Same with Kerry - he's not a bad guy, but he's kind of a self-centred douchebag, too, and I love him for it. These two just have so many issues and that's what makes them fun. With Takemura, I love that he's quite affable and likeable ... he's just Lawful as fuck and devoted to a horrible system - and I have such a soft spot for the lawful, dutiful types.
Note: Despite my usual "serious illness and character death" DNW, I'm mostly fine with it to a canonical extent here. So mentions (or even detailed explorations) of the fact that V is dying, and all the ways in which the relic is hurting him, are fine. Anything relating to that that I've specifically prompted is fine. The fact that Johnny is technically dead (and that Kerry mourned him for decades) is also fine. I'd just prefer a fic that isn't exclusively focused on death and dying and nothing else (and please no non-canonical deaths or extra illnesses).
Johnny Silverhand/Kerry Eurodyne
Aaaaaah, they're so messed up about each other! I love that it's been fifty years and Kerry is still not over Johnny. Fifty years and he still wonders what Johnny would think of him, fifty years and his eyes still light up like that when he realises that Johnny is back. Fifty years and he immediately recognises Johnny playing the guitar, and he's so angry at him, but he also missed him so much. And I love that their relationship isn't really as one-sided as it appears at first - Johnny doesn't like admitting he cares about anyone, but he clearly does care about Kerry. In the present, but also in the past - considering he tried to stop him from leaving the band several times. He wanted Kerry around, for all his bitching about Kerry just being the "second fiddle" in his life and not as amazing as him and whatnot.
I love how completely messed up their relationship is - it's very "can't live with you, can't live without you". They're crazy about each other, but also awful to each other half the time. I'm mostly looking for a messy amour fou sort of thing, rather than for something fluffy (though I don't mind them being happy together, at least at times). I love them being kind of obsessive about each other and horrible to anyone else the other one sleeps with and manipulative and half the time they argue and half the time they adore each other. Give me all the fucked up rockerboy love.
I would happily read fic set in the past as well as fic set during the game when Johnny is stuck in male V's body and V occasionally lets Johnny out to play. I'm also good with some kind of handwavey post-canon AU in which Johnny and V both survive in separate bodies somehow - in fact I've got quite a few prompts for that.
(Don't feel like you have to, but since canon never gives us their exact ages and Johnny looks a good deal older than Kerry in the flashbacks, I really love the idea of them meeting when Kerry is 16-18 and Johnny is in his late 20s (underage is totally fine), and Kerry crushes hard on this cool, slightly older guy and Johnny enjoys the hell out of the attention (while also falling for him) ... I think it really works well for their relationship. But if you prefer writing them as being the same age, that's fine, too.)
CP2077: Johnny and Kerry used to sleep with each other
For all of Johnny's big talk about how straight he is and how Kerry was pathetically trying to get into his pants ... it turns out they did actually sleep with each other. Regularly? Just a few times? How did it happen? Did they ever talk about it or was Johnny pretending it never happened most of the time? What does that mean for their canon reunion? (Go as hard as you like on the repression and internalised homophobia here.)
CP2077: Johnny and Kerry used to sleep with each other but Johnny edited it out of his memories
Similar to the one above. We know Johnny canonically edited some of his memories to make them fit his self-image better (make himself look even cooler and more badass), so what if he also edited out that he used to sleep with Kerry (and was maybe even in love with him) because that didn't fit his conviction that he was the Manliest Straight Man Who Fucked All The Women. I imagine it'll lead to some fallout when he sees Kerry again ... and probably some angst on Johnny's part about whether or not he's even still himself if he can't trust his memories. (Maybe Johnny regains the memories after he and Kerry get together again? I wouldn't mind that at all.)
CP2077: Johnny and V survive in the same body
Maybe Alt can save V's life, but can't remove Johnny from his brain. Maybe she could remove Johnny, but V doesn't want to basically kill him, so he suggests they keep bodysharing. Would prefer if this led to a more "equal" situation in which V is also present when Johnny is in charge of the body, and maybe to them being able to switch without the help of pills. Anyway, what does Johnny do now that he has more time to see Kerry again? (Kerry who is or isn't sleeping with V.)

Maybe V manages to get them both new bodies somehow (I'd prefer Johnny looking and sounding like himself, whether through cloning or plastic surgery or whatnot). They're probably still pretty damn close and inseparable, so how does that influence Johnny getting a second chance at not fucking up his relationship with Kerry?
CP2077: Temperance ending but Johnny goes to Kerry instead of leaving Night City
Johnny is pretty fucked up by V's sacrifice, and I'd love him going to Kerry instead of leaving all by himself. (And maybe he can plot a way to bring V back somehow.) Kerry who thought he'd lost Johnny again and now has to deal with actually having Johnny in his life for good.

I imagine the first two would probably happen before V and Kerry's canonicaly first meeting? Maybe V lets him have control earlier, or maybe it's one of those times when V just passes out and Johnny ends up in charge of the body for a bit. For the first one, I don't know, maybe there was just less time to fuck around and meet people than in canon, so V and Johnny were busy saving V's life and didn't have time to go meet Kerry. I'd love to see that first meeting then. :D Would totally be up for making any of these Johnny/Kerry/V, of course.
ALL: Soulmates - one character rejects the idea of soulmates
Because you just know that Johnny would HATE the idea of any kind of higher power or whatever telling him who he's meant to be with. So he'd be drawn to Kerry, love making music with him, hate the idea of Kerry leaving him, while simultaneously insisting they're never going to have sex or be romantically involved because soulmates don't mean shit! Kerry is very messed up about this. Would love fic set in the past, but also fic set during/post-canon and Johnny maybe finally giving them a chance.
ALL: Soulmates - Scars appear on each other's skin
Same as above, really, because Johnny would hate the idea no matter how soulmates work. ;) But I'm very partial to shared scars - Kerry with Johnny's war wounds (and maybe a line on his shoulder where Johnny's arm was cut off?), Johnny who shares that lip scar he gave Kerry. Kerry maybe having the scars removed after Johnny's death because Johnny never wanted to be with him anyway, and Johnny being furious about that when he comes back because how dare Kerry just erase him from his life like that? Johnny giving himself new scars because he knows Kerry will have them, too.
(I didn't request soulmate stuff specifically for Johnny/Kerry/V, but if you want to include V, feel free to run with any of these scenarios and add V in - does he get their scars, too? Does he suddenly get their scars when Johnny pops up in his head? Does Johnny realise he doesn't just have one soulmate, but TWO?)
Johnny Silverhand/Male V, Johnny Silverhand/Kerry Eurodyne/Male V
I love V's relationship with both of them - how antagonistic he and Johnny start out and then slowly grow closer (while also becoming more similar to each other), and also how V and Kerry's relationship starts with Kerry just seeing V as a way to see Johnny again, but then actually growing to like V himself, too. It makes for a fascinating triangle where all three characters are, in one way or another, really into each other. And I imagine they'd all have their insecurities about the other two - V about all that history Johnny and Kerry share, Kerry about the fact that V and Johnny literally share(d) a brain and body and it doesn't get much more intimate than that, Johnny about the fact that Kerry and V actually have something resembling a functional, happy relationship.
And even without Kerry involved, Johnny and V are so great together. The banter, the forced intimacy, how willing they both are to sacrifice themselves for the other, how either of them might do something crazy post-canon to get the other one back. If you don't want to include Kerry, I'd be good with V and Kerry maybe only hooking up a few times, but never getting serious, or maybe that just didn't happen at all. Just don't give V a different love interest please.
For post-canon fic, I'm good with Johnny and V either in the same body and still bodysharing or in separate bodies.

This is just "please make the endings less sad". I do like one of them being stuck alone for a while and feeling guilty for surviving when the other one didn't (possibly with Kerry around, and Kerry having very conflicted feelings because he's glad one of them is alive but also heartbroken the other one is dead). I'd love something plotty about how they bring the other one back, but I'd also enjoy something that handwaves the specific details and just focuses on the angst and the pining and then the happiness of being reunited. :D
CP2077: Takemura and Johnny have to work together to save V's life
Whether something canon/Relic-related, or some post-canon scenario in which V got abducted or captured (I like the Sun ending with merc legend!V best). Takemura and Johnny, who both care about him a lot, realise they can only get him out of there together. Could involve Johnny in a suit or Takemura dressing down, just saying. I would love if they grudgingly had an actual bonding moment or two, but still come out of it absolutely despising each other and hoping that this will never, ever happen again. (V probably just ends up with even more threesome fantasies than he had before, but the one thing Johnny and Takemura can agree on is that they will NEVER do that.) (If Kerry is involved, he might well be yelling at both of them to get their heads out of their asses and work together to save his input.)

Instead of giving up and leaving Night City, Johnny decides to get V back somehow. I don't care how, be as handwavey or as detailed about it as you like. But lots of angst about failing to save him when he promised would be nice. (If Kerry is involved, maybe he can kick Johnny into doing something instead of just feeling sorry for himself. And/or pay for whatever crazy plan Johnny comes up with.)
ALL: Soulbond Requires Physical Proximity

I'm mostly imagining these post-canon if they have separate bodies, but somehow (chip weirdness? unexplained?), they're still connected. Feeling each other's emotions, getting snippets of each other's thoughts, needing to be around each other or they get antsy or even hurt ... Johnny would probably hate the idea of being "bound" like that, but he'd just have to get used to it. If V and/or Johnny are sleeping with Kerry, them basically never being apart might cause some problems (but hopefully lead to a threesome that works for everyone involved?).
Goro Takemura/Male V
Oh, Takemura. How is he so hot? And so weirdly adorable? You know, for a lawful neutral/evil corpo loyalist who's devoted to an evil bastard? I really love how he has both moments of being perfectly formal and polite, and moments of being a rude, angry dick (especially at V). I love his constant complaints about Night City and food. I love him talking about cats, I love that he cooks, and I really love how quickly his relationship with V goes from genuine disdain to much more light-hearted, friendly banter. They form such a great connection with each other so very quickly.
Like I said above, I like Streetkid!V and I like that it makes them both come from very similar backgrounds that they both were driven and determined to escape, but they went about it in very, very different ways and ended up with very different worldviews. It makes for really fascinating contrasts and conflicts between them - lawful, serious corpo bodyguard and trashy streetkid with no taste is just a fun dynamic. But I'd also be up for a Corpo!V who shares Takemura's worldview at least in part, and they're both in the same position of having been cast out by the corporation they dedicated their lives to (and maybe they'd both like to find a way to go back). I guess those two would have a happier ending, since I don't really see Streetkid!V not picking one of the endings that make Takemura very, very mad at you. ;) But for this, too, I'm very happy with AUs for the ending in which not everything goes for shit - as much as I like that for canon, I don't mind happier scenarios for fic. I'd also love for V and Takemura to reconcile after their, er, breakup, to put it mildly.
I also really enjoy the big age difference between them - V who's still fairly young and just starting out in life with all these big dreams and plans (before he started dying, that is), whereas Takemura has pretty much achieved everything he wanted to achieve, he had success and respect before his life went to shit.
While I never really object to switching, I'm very much into Takemura topping V. They can mix things up sometimes! I just don't want exclusively bottom!Takemura because him topping V is just too hot.

Does he specifically seek out V because he's the only non-Arasaka person he's close to? Does he just stay in/go to Night City because why not, and V finds him there trying to make a living somehow? Does V specifically seek him out because he figures Takemura must be completely lost? Takemura probably has no idea what to do with his life after spending so long working for Arasaka. Maybe he ends up becoming V's bodyguard/partner (and having Saburo Arasaka's ex-bodyguard by his side only makes V look even cooler)? I love that Takemura, once you get him out of his corpo environment, clearly loves slightly nuts plans like "let's jump on a moving parade float", so I feel like he might develop some appreciation for V's merc life and crazy stunts.
CP2077: Takemura gets thrown out by Arasaka post-canon and tries to kill merc legend!V
Takemura decides to kill V before planning to kill himself, as punishment for 1) fucking with Arasaka, 2) basically killing Saburo a second time (if Takemura found out about the construct from Hanako and said construct was destroyed in Mikoshi) - give me all the stalking, sexy angry fighting, and eventual realising that he doesn't want to kill V - or alternately, V defeats Takemura when they fight, but instead of killing him, he decides to nurse him back to health. Takemura has now very confused mixed emotions about everything. Might lead to something similar as the prompt above in the end. :D
Far Cry 5
Joseph Seed/Jacob Seed/John Seed (and every combination of them)
Just to be clear: I absolutely ship all three of them together, but I'd be just as happy to read about just two of them with the third one either not appearing at all or not appearing in a shippy way. I'd just ask that you didn't go out of your way to explicitly tell me that they're totally not into the third brother, because I like to imagine that all three of them being together is at least a possibility. :)
I love everything about these three evil bastards. Villainous loyalty kink, devotion, each having their own personal brand of evilness, fucked up tragic backstories, religious weirdness, starting a cult together, murdering and torturing people together, those very different relationships they have with each other - these three really have it all. It's like someone tailor-made them for me. And I love how absolutely batshit insane all three of them are in their own way, completely obsessive and ruthless about it, and I'd really love to see how they all feel about each other's respective batshit insanity, I mean, er, dedication to doing the right thing. ;)
FC5: John and Jacob meet again before Joseph finds them
John lived in Atlanta, the US Army has lots of bases in Georgia, so it's not too hard to imagine that at some point in all those years of their adult lives before Joseph found them, they might have been in the same bar one evening. And I'd specifically like them to hook up while having no idea they're brothers (John was five when they were separated, he barely remembers what Jacob looks like, and Jacob remembers a 5-year-old boy, not an adult man). And then John might just read Jacob's dogtags the morning after and now he has to figure out what to do with that knowledge ... Tell Jacob the truth even if it will make things awkward and possibly make Jacob hate him or something? Not say anything and let Jacob disappear from his life again? Try to spend some more time with Jacob without telling him, accidentally making Jacob think he wants to date him like a normal person ... which only makes the eventual reveal more awkward? :D And what does this mean for their eventual reunion with Joseph - if they stay together, they probably don't want Joseph to know they're sleeping with each other, except John hates lying to Joseph ...
FC5: the Seed brothers survive canon in one of the bunkers
Just a simple canon fix-it. Go with any scenario you like - no deputee, or a very incompetent deputee who dies very early on (so, like, my player character when I first started playing the game ;)), or Joseph eventually realising he's given this guy enough chances and he needs to be stopped before he destroys everything the Project has built, or simply Jacob eventually putting his foot down and deciding he's not going to let this lunatic murder his brothers, he's going to kill him first. Or just handwave it however much you like. I'm mostly interested in what it'd be like for them and their followers after the expected apocalypse. Does Jacob have a bit of a religious revelation moment? Do his brothers expect him to but nope, not happening? Is Jacob (with all his talk about hating civilisation and concrete and wanting to return to nature) really bad at being stuck in a claustrophobic bunker for years? Did one of them get injured before heading to the bunkers and needs to be nursed back to health? What happens once they can leave the bunker again?
Mass Effect
I replayed the whole trilogy recently and was frustrated again that the games didn't let me romance the characters I wanted to romance most. I adore Shepard's relationship with both Garrus and James so much: that undying loyalty, will-follow-you-to-the-end-of-the-galaxy, where-were-you-all-my-life friendship he has with Garrus, how much renegade Shepard enables Garrus's darker impulses and how much they just get each other; and that more complicated relationship with James, the fact that James massively hero-worshipped Shepard before meeting him, and then babysat him for six months when Shepard was at his lowest, and then in ME3 he really feels like one of the people who keep Shepard grounded, who are aware that he's human and that this war is taking a toll on him, that his hero is fallible. There's a lot of interesting layers to explore there.
I strongly prefer renegade Shepard (who is nicer to his companions/friends) because he's just 100% tailored to my character preferences - ruthless and efficient, the end justifies the means, snarky and intimidating, a dutiful hardass who's willing to do whatever needs to be done, no matter the cost to himself or to others. Should it come up, I really prefer him sabotaging the genophage cure for that reason because Shepard having to kill two of his friends to do what he thinks is right is such a horrifically great moment in the games (I'm generally fine with a lot of the other more "save as many people as possible" paragon decisions, but I like renegade Shepard a lot more personality-wise - I like that he's the biggest asshole you'll ever meet who also happens to be on the side of the good guys and uses his ridiculous dickishness and competence to help people by yelling, threatening, bullying and murdering his way through the galaxy).
I picked the Spacer/Ruthless backgrounds and vanguard as his class, but I'm not fixated on that, if you want to write something else. I prefer Shepard written as gay rather than bi. Ending-wise, I think for fic a handwavey "the Crucible destroyed the Reapers without destroying the geth, and Shepard is alive" works best. I'd also be super interested in a variation of the Control ending, though, in which Shepard doesn't die while uploading part of himself into a God-AI, simply because the mindfuck of co-existing with an all-powerful AI version of yourself must be incredible - so if that's something you'd like to explore, go for it! In general, I love stoic and/or angry suffering, so feel free to whump Shepard hard as long as there's a happy-ish ending.
I'm very attached to his default looks and name, so please no custom Shepards (though I don't expect anyone besides his mother to actually call Shepard by his first name anyway). I like pretty much all the other companions and am happy to read about them. My other faves are Zaeed, Legion, Miranda, Jack, Tali, Cortez, Mordin, Joker, Grunt, Samara, Traynor, Javik, EDI. I also like Aria, Anderson and Hackett a lot, as well as spacer!Shepard's relationship with his mother.
This section is a bit of a mess because there's a bunch of tags I'm requesting for several ships and some just for some ships, so bear with me please?

I really love the Control ending, mostly because it resonates so well with renegade Shep? Who constantly thinks he knows best and browbeats other people into doing what he thinks is right. And now he doesn't need to argue and negotiate anymore, now he can finally protect the galaxy without needing anyone's permission. I don't really care how he survives: does he upload only part of himself into this new Shepard-God-AI, but also continues living as himself? In which case, what connection is there between human!Shep and AI!Shep? Do they talk to each other? Do they know what the other one knows? Or is there only AI!Shep now? In that case, I'd prefer if he at least occasionally uploaded himself into a body. Messy and fucked up and bittersweet is great, but in general I would like him to still love and want to be around his LI/friends, not go all "I am above such things now".
Elements I'd enjoy: Shepard's human body being in a coma for a while, his friends/LI not knowing if he'll wake up again, weird brain waves that make them worry if he's going to be himself if he wakes up (Reaper code instead of brain waves?), his LI worrying to what extent he's still himself if he has somehow ... changed, worrying if Shepard still loves them (he does), Garrus and Vega interacting while worrying about Shepard (whether you go the OT3 route or not; I just love both of them being really close to Shepard even if one of them is "only" his friend); AI Shepard maybe feeling kind of lost because he's not as above all those human emotions and priorities as he initially thought ...
MET: Shepard's cybernetics are killing him when stressed; other half of ship tries to help him relax
This is such a fun scenario! The renegade scars don't seem to be hurting him in canon, but the bit about his body still rejecting his implants in some ways is so interesting. So maybe at some point the stress gets so bad that it actually comes with serious health consequences. I could see this post-canon when people are trying to get him to relax or during canon when he's running himself so ragged he can barely keep going anymore. Could be something a bit cracky (like Vega taking him to an asari brothel because he's the only person in the galaxy who hasn't caught on yet to Shepard being gay), could be something just porny (like Shepard needing to get fucked hard to relax), could be something nice and calm (like Garrus or Vega actually abducting him on a mini-holiday on a nice beach somewhere).
For Shepard/Garrus:
ALL: Characters had an ill-advised one night stand before their canon meeting
Probably when Garrus was still with C-Sec and Shepard was on the Citadel for reasons. Maybe Shepard has a thing for turians or maybe he just liked Garrus when they ran into each other at some security checkpoint or whatever and Garrus made some snarky comments. Or maybe they end up breaking up a fight together at a club/bar or Shepard spontaneously helps Garrus who was pursuing a criminal. Maybe Garrus is a bit surprised when Shepard comes on to him and thinks he shouldn't be interested in a human, but then decides, eh, why not, might as well try something new? I'd love something just about the one-night stand, but I'd also love to see the fallout from that when they meet again in canon. Are things awkward or not? Do they just not talk about it? Do they talk about it, but decide not to do it again ... until they get to know each other better and realise they really, really like each other? Do they talk about it and decide there's no good reason not to keep having some fun (but then, oh no, they catch feelings)?
MET: Shepard survives and lives with Garrus on the Citadel while recovering
MET: Shepard survives; he and Garrus work together as spectres
I just want them both to survive and get to spend time together. I love Shepard maybe needing a long time post-canon to get better again and not being immediately cleared for combat training, so maybe that's how he ends up on the Citadel - and if Garrus is there, too, well, Anderson's apartment is big enough for both of them and they could totally live together, right? Garrus finally becoming a Spectre because that's what he always wanted and the two of them being a team could also be great, whether for actual mission fic or just handwaved adventures that lead to them hooking up. For both scenarios, I could see them only getting together post-canon because it was somehow never the right time before (or maybe they hooked up a few times, but neither of them was sure if the other one wanted a serious relationship?).
For Shepard/Vega:
MET: Shepard and Vega hook up while Shepard is stuck in Vancouver pre-ME3
So technically Shepard isn't his superior officer while he's relieved of duty, and he's bored out of his mind and frustrated, so maybe hooking up with the hot guy watching him might seem like a great idea. I'd also love to see how this changes things once ME3 kicks off and Vega actually serves under him - maybe sleeping with Shepard for months made him think Shepard is a lot more friendly and mellow than he is when he's kicking ass and yelling at people and bossing everyone around. Do they stop fucking for a while because it's weird now that Shepard is his CO? Do they try to stop, but sooner or later the stress gets so bad that they could both do with a distraction?
MET: Shepard lives and is assigned as Vega's N7 training officer
I imagine that Vega probably earned that N7 during the war, but maybe he still has to do a few specific missions post-war to make it official. Maybe this could involve a mission during which Vega is in command and Shepard has to follow his orders to evaluate how Vega does when he's calling the shots. Maybe they continue that once they get back to the Normandy after the mission. <.<
Legion/Male Shepard

Elements I'd enjoy: Legion made a backup of itself, Shepard maybe has to do something to restore it/otherwise "resurrect" Legion, now fully sentient Legion learns more things about humans/gets curious about some things, Legion maybe travelling with Shepard again post-war or Shepard visiting Rannoch (Tali is always welcome to show up), Legion finally making sense of that confusing data about why it cares so much about Shepard (can be shippy, but tbh I'd even read something entirely platonic here, too); Control!Shepard feeling like Legion understands him better than anyone else now or the two of them helping each other relate to their organic friends better again ...

Thank you for writing for me and having a look at this letter. I've got some general likes and dislikes listed - those are the important parts, really. They're followed by a list of kinks I like, should you feel inclined to write porn, and some fandom-specific prompts, but if those don't work for you - as long as you include a thing or two that I like and don't include my DNWs, I'm sure I will love whatever you write for me. :D
As a general rule, I enjoy all ratings; I like darker, angstier fic and more light-hearted stories, although neither completely conflictless fluff nor completely bleak darkfic without a ray of hope are quite my thing. I'm always happy about porn, but it's not a must. I like shorter fics and plotty longfic. If you do write porn and you want more smut-related prompts, I've requested most of these ships for Smut Swap before. The fandoms are listed alphabetically. The length of the fandom-specific sections doesn't indicate an order of preference; I just had more ideas and prompts for some of them.
I use the same name on AO3 and tumblr as here. Treats are always welcome (just mentioning this because of AO3's recent settings change).

Brief mentions of Johnny's relationships with Alt or Rogue for Cyberpunk (or of Johnny and Kerry fucking other people) are fine, but I don't want those relationships (or thinking about those relationships) to play a huge role in the fic unless it's part of something I've specifically prompted. If a relationship only starts during canon (like Tali/Garrus for Mass Effect), please just have those characters not get together in the first place.

Male Eivor/Sigurd Styrbjornson
Note: I'm fine with Sigurd's arm loss coming up, no need to retcon it (though I also wouldn't mind an AU in which he doesn't get his arm chopped off). But I'd prefer if he learnt how to fight again with his left hand and generally regained his strength, rather than him just feeling helpless and weak forever.
So anyway, this is the part where nobody is surprised that I came out of Valhalla shipping the two brothers who are SUPER INTENSE about each other. They love each other so much - Eivor is so utterly devoted to Sigurd and willing to move mountains for him, and Sigurd trusts Eivor so completely and relies on him and happily leaves him in charge and wants to rule together with him (well, at least until he gets his mind fucked with by Fulke and Basim). They obviously don't care about anyone else in their lives half as much as they do about each other, and it's glorious.
I also just generally really love Eivor - his poetic side, that he's a total badass, that he gets drunk and high all the time, that he's charismatic and could be a leader in his own right but he just really doesn't want to, he wants Sigurd back. I'm quite attached to him being blond, bearded and long-haired - you don't have to mention it in any way, of course, but I'd prefer if you didn't directly contradict it because that might throw me out of the fic for a moment. :) And I love Sigurd's ambition, I love that he's charismatic but also really full of himself, I love that he's kind of a dick, but apparently just immediately adored his new brother.
I really don't care for the Isu and the modern storyline. If it gets mentioned, I'll live, but I'd rather not get a fic that focuses much on it. I am totally okay with "Norse mythology is real" AUs in which they just have divine visions or something like that.
I'm happy to read underage for this ship (down to about 15 for Eivor). And they're very much brothers, adopted or not, so I'm all for leaning into the incest angle. I'm totally fine with mentions of any of Eivor's male canon hookups (and of Sigurd having slept with various other people in his life) as long as none of them are particularly romantic. For the non-marriage prompt, I'm fine with Sigurd and Randvi still being married or not (not like they seem to care all that much about each other) and with Randvi's unrequited thing for Eivor, but I'm not interested in Eivor returning her feelings.
AC: Sigurd remains jarl after the game
How I wanted the game to end! Does Eivor simply refuse to take the position? Does he accept temporarily but insist Sigurd take on his responsibilities again once he's healed and feels better? Do they rule together for a while, the way they wanted to anyway? How does Sigurd deal with having been gone for so long and everybody behaving like Eivor should be their leader?
AC: the prologue is Eivor and Sigurd's engagement party
Because that's genuinely the impression I got! I'd prefer if said party still goes as in canon, Eivor's parents die and he and Sigurd are raised as brothers. But they're also engaged! Maybe when the time comes to marry, nobody expects them to consumate it because they're brothers and they're both men, so heirs aren't happening anyway, it's just a symbol of alliance etc. Do they pine terribly because neither knows how to admit they'd like to be "properly" married? Does Sigurd playfully demand Eivor come to his bed and then realises Eivor is actually very okay with that? Does messed up I'm-a-god!Sigurd seriously demand Eivor finally come to his bed after years of symbolic marriage and ... realises Eivor is very okay with that? Do they both sleep around because it's not like they sleep with each other, but at some point one of them gets extremely jealous and snaps at some other guy who's putting his hands on what's theirs?
ALL: Society Allows Sibling Marriage as Platonic Partnership (But This One Isn't Platonic)
Similar to the prompt above, though here it would probably happen later in their lives. I'd also be up for some cultural differences here - is this a Viking tradition that everyone in England finds extremely confusing (are they brothers or husbands???)? Is it an English custom they hear about when they come to England and both love the idea of being at least symbolically married because nobody else will ever mean as much to them as the other one? Are they already sleeping with each other and grateful to have an easy explanation for why they share a bedroom (totally platonic sibling marriage, everyone!), or does their very platonic marriage lead to lots of pining for more? Do people eventually find out their marriage is very much not platonic?
Cyberpunk 2077
Oh God, this game. This game has eaten my brain. I love it so much. I adore the setting - the lore, the feeling of Night City, the politics, the absolute dystopian hellscape it is, the cars and the music and the ads and the media. I love that it manages to be simultaneously depressing and dark, utterly garish and hilarious, and genuinely emotionally touching in so many places. I love how real the characters feel, and I love how beautifully depressing and bittersweet the story is.
I went for Streetkid!V in my first playthrough because it works really well for the story in my opinion, and also for his relationship with Johnny. Ambitious, wanting to make something of himself, kinda trashy and obnoxious (I blame the horrible clothes I put him in for that), but not really a bad guy at heart. But don't feel like you have to write him that way if that doesn't work for you. I think Corpo!V could also be very interesting for Takemura/V (though less so when Johnny is involved). I'm just not particularly into the Nomad background. And in general, for player characters, I'd prefer the characterisation mostly focused on what's actually canon in the game rather than extensive headcanons about their background/past/history.
Other than that, I love Johnny so much - this narcissistic, charismatic, self-centred piece of shit who realised way too late that he actually cares about some people in his life. He's so angry and messed up about the world and just raging helplessly at it. I love that he's not even remotely a good or a nice person. Same with Kerry - he's not a bad guy, but he's kind of a self-centred douchebag, too, and I love him for it. These two just have so many issues and that's what makes them fun. With Takemura, I love that he's quite affable and likeable ... he's just Lawful as fuck and devoted to a horrible system - and I have such a soft spot for the lawful, dutiful types.
Note: Despite my usual "serious illness and character death" DNW, I'm mostly fine with it to a canonical extent here. So mentions (or even detailed explorations) of the fact that V is dying, and all the ways in which the relic is hurting him, are fine. Anything relating to that that I've specifically prompted is fine. The fact that Johnny is technically dead (and that Kerry mourned him for decades) is also fine. I'd just prefer a fic that isn't exclusively focused on death and dying and nothing else (and please no non-canonical deaths or extra illnesses).
Johnny Silverhand/Kerry Eurodyne
Aaaaaah, they're so messed up about each other! I love that it's been fifty years and Kerry is still not over Johnny. Fifty years and he still wonders what Johnny would think of him, fifty years and his eyes still light up like that when he realises that Johnny is back. Fifty years and he immediately recognises Johnny playing the guitar, and he's so angry at him, but he also missed him so much. And I love that their relationship isn't really as one-sided as it appears at first - Johnny doesn't like admitting he cares about anyone, but he clearly does care about Kerry. In the present, but also in the past - considering he tried to stop him from leaving the band several times. He wanted Kerry around, for all his bitching about Kerry just being the "second fiddle" in his life and not as amazing as him and whatnot.
I love how completely messed up their relationship is - it's very "can't live with you, can't live without you". They're crazy about each other, but also awful to each other half the time. I'm mostly looking for a messy amour fou sort of thing, rather than for something fluffy (though I don't mind them being happy together, at least at times). I love them being kind of obsessive about each other and horrible to anyone else the other one sleeps with and manipulative and half the time they argue and half the time they adore each other. Give me all the fucked up rockerboy love.
I would happily read fic set in the past as well as fic set during the game when Johnny is stuck in male V's body and V occasionally lets Johnny out to play. I'm also good with some kind of handwavey post-canon AU in which Johnny and V both survive in separate bodies somehow - in fact I've got quite a few prompts for that.
(Don't feel like you have to, but since canon never gives us their exact ages and Johnny looks a good deal older than Kerry in the flashbacks, I really love the idea of them meeting when Kerry is 16-18 and Johnny is in his late 20s (underage is totally fine), and Kerry crushes hard on this cool, slightly older guy and Johnny enjoys the hell out of the attention (while also falling for him) ... I think it really works well for their relationship. But if you prefer writing them as being the same age, that's fine, too.)

For all of Johnny's big talk about how straight he is and how Kerry was pathetically trying to get into his pants ... it turns out they did actually sleep with each other. Regularly? Just a few times? How did it happen? Did they ever talk about it or was Johnny pretending it never happened most of the time? What does that mean for their canon reunion? (Go as hard as you like on the repression and internalised homophobia here.)

We know Johnny canonically edited some of his memories to make them fit his self-image better (make himself look even cooler and more badass), so what if he also edited out that he used to sleep with Kerry (and was maybe even in love with him) because that didn't fit his conviction that he was the Manliest Straight Man Who Fucked All The Women. I imagine it'll lead to some fallout when he sees Kerry again ... and probably some angst on Johnny's part about whether or not he's even still himself if he can't trust his memories. (Maybe Johnny regains the memories after he and Kerry get together again? I wouldn't mind that at all.)

For the first one, I don't know, maybe there was just less time to fuck around and meet people than in canon, so V and Johnny were busy saving V's life and didn't have time to go meet Kerry. I'd love to see that first meeting then. :D Would totally be up for making any of these Johnny/Kerry/V, of course.
ALL: Soulmates - one character rejects the idea of soulmates
Because you just know that Johnny would HATE the idea of any kind of higher power or whatever telling him who he's meant to be with. So he'd be drawn to Kerry, love making music with him, hate the idea of Kerry leaving him, while simultaneously insisting they're never going to have sex or be romantically involved because soulmates don't mean shit! Kerry is very messed up about this. Would love fic set in the past, but also fic set during/post-canon and Johnny maybe finally giving them a chance.
ALL: Soulmates - Scars appear on each other's skin
Same as above, really, because Johnny would hate the idea no matter how soulmates work. ;) But I'm very partial to shared scars - Kerry with Johnny's war wounds (and maybe a line on his shoulder where Johnny's arm was cut off?), Johnny who shares that lip scar he gave Kerry. Kerry maybe having the scars removed after Johnny's death because Johnny never wanted to be with him anyway, and Johnny being furious about that when he comes back because how dare Kerry just erase him from his life like that? Johnny giving himself new scars because he knows Kerry will have them, too.
(I didn't request soulmate stuff specifically for Johnny/Kerry/V, but if you want to include V, feel free to run with any of these scenarios and add V in - does he get their scars, too? Does he suddenly get their scars when Johnny pops up in his head? Does Johnny realise he doesn't just have one soulmate, but TWO?)
Johnny Silverhand/Male V, Johnny Silverhand/Kerry Eurodyne/Male V
I love V's relationship with both of them - how antagonistic he and Johnny start out and then slowly grow closer (while also becoming more similar to each other), and also how V and Kerry's relationship starts with Kerry just seeing V as a way to see Johnny again, but then actually growing to like V himself, too. It makes for a fascinating triangle where all three characters are, in one way or another, really into each other. And I imagine they'd all have their insecurities about the other two - V about all that history Johnny and Kerry share, Kerry about the fact that V and Johnny literally share(d) a brain and body and it doesn't get much more intimate than that, Johnny about the fact that Kerry and V actually have something resembling a functional, happy relationship.
And even without Kerry involved, Johnny and V are so great together. The banter, the forced intimacy, how willing they both are to sacrifice themselves for the other, how either of them might do something crazy post-canon to get the other one back. If you don't want to include Kerry, I'd be good with V and Kerry maybe only hooking up a few times, but never getting serious, or maybe that just didn't happen at all. Just don't give V a different love interest please.
For post-canon fic, I'm good with Johnny and V either in the same body and still bodysharing or in separate bodies.

I'd love something plotty about how they bring the other one back, but I'd also enjoy something that handwaves the specific details and just focuses on the angst and the pining and then the happiness of being reunited. :D

Whether something canon/Relic-related, or some post-canon scenario in which V got abducted or captured (I like the Sun ending with merc legend!V best). Takemura and Johnny, who both care about him a lot, realise they can only get him out of there together. Could involve Johnny in a suit or Takemura dressing down, just saying. I would love if they grudgingly had an actual bonding moment or two, but still come out of it absolutely despising each other and hoping that this will never, ever happen again. (V probably just ends up with even more threesome fantasies than he had before, but the one thing Johnny and Takemura can agree on is that they will NEVER do that.) (If Kerry is involved, he might well be yelling at both of them to get their heads out of their asses and work together to save his input.)

I'm mostly imagining these post-canon if they have separate bodies, but somehow (chip weirdness? unexplained?), they're still connected. Feeling each other's emotions, getting snippets of each other's thoughts, needing to be around each other or they get antsy or even hurt ... Johnny would probably hate the idea of being "bound" like that, but he'd just have to get used to it. If V and/or Johnny are sleeping with Kerry, them basically never being apart might cause some problems (but hopefully lead to a threesome that works for everyone involved?).
Goro Takemura/Male V
Oh, Takemura. How is he so hot? And so weirdly adorable? You know, for a lawful neutral/evil corpo loyalist who's devoted to an evil bastard? I really love how he has both moments of being perfectly formal and polite, and moments of being a rude, angry dick (especially at V). I love his constant complaints about Night City and food. I love him talking about cats, I love that he cooks, and I really love how quickly his relationship with V goes from genuine disdain to much more light-hearted, friendly banter. They form such a great connection with each other so very quickly.
Like I said above, I like Streetkid!V and I like that it makes them both come from very similar backgrounds that they both were driven and determined to escape, but they went about it in very, very different ways and ended up with very different worldviews. It makes for really fascinating contrasts and conflicts between them - lawful, serious corpo bodyguard and trashy streetkid with no taste is just a fun dynamic. But I'd also be up for a Corpo!V who shares Takemura's worldview at least in part, and they're both in the same position of having been cast out by the corporation they dedicated their lives to (and maybe they'd both like to find a way to go back). I guess those two would have a happier ending, since I don't really see Streetkid!V not picking one of the endings that make Takemura very, very mad at you. ;) But for this, too, I'm very happy with AUs for the ending in which not everything goes for shit - as much as I like that for canon, I don't mind happier scenarios for fic. I'd also love for V and Takemura to reconcile after their, er, breakup, to put it mildly.
I also really enjoy the big age difference between them - V who's still fairly young and just starting out in life with all these big dreams and plans (before he started dying, that is), whereas Takemura has pretty much achieved everything he wanted to achieve, he had success and respect before his life went to shit.
While I never really object to switching, I'm very much into Takemura topping V. They can mix things up sometimes! I just don't want exclusively bottom!Takemura because him topping V is just too hot.

Does he specifically seek out V because he's the only non-Arasaka person he's close to? Does he just stay in/go to Night City because why not, and V finds him there trying to make a living somehow? Does V specifically seek him out because he figures Takemura must be completely lost? Takemura probably has no idea what to do with his life after spending so long working for Arasaka. Maybe he ends up becoming V's bodyguard/partner (and having Saburo Arasaka's ex-bodyguard by his side only makes V look even cooler)? I love that Takemura, once you get him out of his corpo environment, clearly loves slightly nuts plans like "let's jump on a moving parade float", so I feel like he might develop some appreciation for V's merc life and crazy stunts.

Takemura decides to kill V before planning to kill himself, as punishment for 1) fucking with Arasaka, 2) basically killing Saburo a second time (if Takemura found out about the construct from Hanako and said construct was destroyed in Mikoshi) - give me all the stalking, sexy angry fighting, and eventual realising that he doesn't want to kill V - or alternately, V defeats Takemura when they fight, but instead of killing him, he decides to nurse him back to health. Takemura has now very confused mixed emotions about everything. Might lead to something similar as the prompt above in the end. :D

Joseph Seed/Jacob Seed/John Seed (and every combination of them)
Just to be clear: I absolutely ship all three of them together, but I'd be just as happy to read about just two of them with the third one either not appearing at all or not appearing in a shippy way. I'd just ask that you didn't go out of your way to explicitly tell me that they're totally not into the third brother, because I like to imagine that all three of them being together is at least a possibility. :)
I love everything about these three evil bastards. Villainous loyalty kink, devotion, each having their own personal brand of evilness, fucked up tragic backstories, religious weirdness, starting a cult together, murdering and torturing people together, those very different relationships they have with each other - these three really have it all. It's like someone tailor-made them for me. And I love how absolutely batshit insane all three of them are in their own way, completely obsessive and ruthless about it, and I'd really love to see how they all feel about each other's respective batshit insanity, I mean, er, dedication to doing the right thing. ;)
FC5: John and Jacob meet again before Joseph finds them
John lived in Atlanta, the US Army has lots of bases in Georgia, so it's not too hard to imagine that at some point in all those years of their adult lives before Joseph found them, they might have been in the same bar one evening. And I'd specifically like them to hook up while having no idea they're brothers (John was five when they were separated, he barely remembers what Jacob looks like, and Jacob remembers a 5-year-old boy, not an adult man). And then John might just read Jacob's dogtags the morning after and now he has to figure out what to do with that knowledge ... Tell Jacob the truth even if it will make things awkward and possibly make Jacob hate him or something? Not say anything and let Jacob disappear from his life again? Try to spend some more time with Jacob without telling him, accidentally making Jacob think he wants to date him like a normal person ... which only makes the eventual reveal more awkward? :D And what does this mean for their eventual reunion with Joseph - if they stay together, they probably don't want Joseph to know they're sleeping with each other, except John hates lying to Joseph ...
FC5: the Seed brothers survive canon in one of the bunkers
Just a simple canon fix-it. Go with any scenario you like - no deputee, or a very incompetent deputee who dies very early on (so, like, my player character when I first started playing the game ;)), or Joseph eventually realising he's given this guy enough chances and he needs to be stopped before he destroys everything the Project has built, or simply Jacob eventually putting his foot down and deciding he's not going to let this lunatic murder his brothers, he's going to kill him first. Or just handwave it however much you like. I'm mostly interested in what it'd be like for them and their followers after the expected apocalypse. Does Jacob have a bit of a religious revelation moment? Do his brothers expect him to but nope, not happening? Is Jacob (with all his talk about hating civilisation and concrete and wanting to return to nature) really bad at being stuck in a claustrophobic bunker for years? Did one of them get injured before heading to the bunkers and needs to be nursed back to health? What happens once they can leave the bunker again?
Mass Effect
I replayed the whole trilogy recently and was frustrated again that the games didn't let me romance the characters I wanted to romance most. I adore Shepard's relationship with both Garrus and James so much: that undying loyalty, will-follow-you-to-the-end-of-the-galaxy, where-were-you-all-my-life friendship he has with Garrus, how much renegade Shepard enables Garrus's darker impulses and how much they just get each other; and that more complicated relationship with James, the fact that James massively hero-worshipped Shepard before meeting him, and then babysat him for six months when Shepard was at his lowest, and then in ME3 he really feels like one of the people who keep Shepard grounded, who are aware that he's human and that this war is taking a toll on him, that his hero is fallible. There's a lot of interesting layers to explore there.
I strongly prefer renegade Shepard (who is nicer to his companions/friends) because he's just 100% tailored to my character preferences - ruthless and efficient, the end justifies the means, snarky and intimidating, a dutiful hardass who's willing to do whatever needs to be done, no matter the cost to himself or to others. Should it come up, I really prefer him sabotaging the genophage cure for that reason because Shepard having to kill two of his friends to do what he thinks is right is such a horrifically great moment in the games (I'm generally fine with a lot of the other more "save as many people as possible" paragon decisions, but I like renegade Shepard a lot more personality-wise - I like that he's the biggest asshole you'll ever meet who also happens to be on the side of the good guys and uses his ridiculous dickishness and competence to help people by yelling, threatening, bullying and murdering his way through the galaxy).
I picked the Spacer/Ruthless backgrounds and vanguard as his class, but I'm not fixated on that, if you want to write something else. I prefer Shepard written as gay rather than bi. Ending-wise, I think for fic a handwavey "the Crucible destroyed the Reapers without destroying the geth, and Shepard is alive" works best. I'd also be super interested in a variation of the Control ending, though, in which Shepard doesn't die while uploading part of himself into a God-AI, simply because the mindfuck of co-existing with an all-powerful AI version of yourself must be incredible - so if that's something you'd like to explore, go for it! In general, I love stoic and/or angry suffering, so feel free to whump Shepard hard as long as there's a happy-ish ending.
I'm very attached to his default looks and name, so please no custom Shepards (though I don't expect anyone besides his mother to actually call Shepard by his first name anyway). I like pretty much all the other companions and am happy to read about them. My other faves are Zaeed, Legion, Miranda, Jack, Tali, Cortez, Mordin, Joker, Grunt, Samara, Traynor, Javik, EDI. I also like Aria, Anderson and Hackett a lot, as well as spacer!Shepard's relationship with his mother.
This section is a bit of a mess because there's a bunch of tags I'm requesting for several ships and some just for some ships, so bear with me please?

I really love the Control ending, mostly because it resonates so well with renegade Shep? Who constantly thinks he knows best and browbeats other people into doing what he thinks is right. And now he doesn't need to argue and negotiate anymore, now he can finally protect the galaxy without needing anyone's permission. I don't really care how he survives: does he upload only part of himself into this new Shepard-God-AI, but also continues living as himself? In which case, what connection is there between human!Shep and AI!Shep? Do they talk to each other? Do they know what the other one knows? Or is there only AI!Shep now? In that case, I'd prefer if he at least occasionally uploaded himself into a body. Messy and fucked up and bittersweet is great, but in general I would like him to still love and want to be around his LI/friends, not go all "I am above such things now".
Elements I'd enjoy: Shepard's human body being in a coma for a while, his friends/LI not knowing if he'll wake up again, weird brain waves that make them worry if he's going to be himself if he wakes up (Reaper code instead of brain waves?), his LI worrying to what extent he's still himself if he has somehow ... changed, worrying if Shepard still loves them (he does), Garrus and Vega interacting while worrying about Shepard (whether you go the OT3 route or not; I just love both of them being really close to Shepard even if one of them is "only" his friend); AI Shepard maybe feeling kind of lost because he's not as above all those human emotions and priorities as he initially thought ...
MET: Shepard's cybernetics are killing him when stressed; other half of ship tries to help him relax
This is such a fun scenario! The renegade scars don't seem to be hurting him in canon, but the bit about his body still rejecting his implants in some ways is so interesting. So maybe at some point the stress gets so bad that it actually comes with serious health consequences. I could see this post-canon when people are trying to get him to relax or during canon when he's running himself so ragged he can barely keep going anymore. Could be something a bit cracky (like Vega taking him to an asari brothel because he's the only person in the galaxy who hasn't caught on yet to Shepard being gay), could be something just porny (like Shepard needing to get fucked hard to relax), could be something nice and calm (like Garrus or Vega actually abducting him on a mini-holiday on a nice beach somewhere).
For Shepard/Garrus:
ALL: Characters had an ill-advised one night stand before their canon meeting
Probably when Garrus was still with C-Sec and Shepard was on the Citadel for reasons. Maybe Shepard has a thing for turians or maybe he just liked Garrus when they ran into each other at some security checkpoint or whatever and Garrus made some snarky comments. Or maybe they end up breaking up a fight together at a club/bar or Shepard spontaneously helps Garrus who was pursuing a criminal. Maybe Garrus is a bit surprised when Shepard comes on to him and thinks he shouldn't be interested in a human, but then decides, eh, why not, might as well try something new? I'd love something just about the one-night stand, but I'd also love to see the fallout from that when they meet again in canon. Are things awkward or not? Do they just not talk about it? Do they talk about it, but decide not to do it again ... until they get to know each other better and realise they really, really like each other? Do they talk about it and decide there's no good reason not to keep having some fun (but then, oh no, they catch feelings)?
MET: Shepard survives and lives with Garrus on the Citadel while recovering

I just want them both to survive and get to spend time together. I love Shepard maybe needing a long time post-canon to get better again and not being immediately cleared for combat training, so maybe that's how he ends up on the Citadel - and if Garrus is there, too, well, Anderson's apartment is big enough for both of them and they could totally live together, right? Garrus finally becoming a Spectre because that's what he always wanted and the two of them being a team could also be great, whether for actual mission fic or just handwaved adventures that lead to them hooking up. For both scenarios, I could see them only getting together post-canon because it was somehow never the right time before (or maybe they hooked up a few times, but neither of them was sure if the other one wanted a serious relationship?).
For Shepard/Vega:

So technically Shepard isn't his superior officer while he's relieved of duty, and he's bored out of his mind and frustrated, so maybe hooking up with the hot guy watching him might seem like a great idea. I'd also love to see how this changes things once ME3 kicks off and Vega actually serves under him - maybe sleeping with Shepard for months made him think Shepard is a lot more friendly and mellow than he is when he's kicking ass and yelling at people and bossing everyone around. Do they stop fucking for a while because it's weird now that Shepard is his CO? Do they try to stop, but sooner or later the stress gets so bad that they could both do with a distraction?
MET: Shepard lives and is assigned as Vega's N7 training officer
I imagine that Vega probably earned that N7 during the war, but maybe he still has to do a few specific missions post-war to make it official. Maybe this could involve a mission during which Vega is in command and Shepard has to follow his orders to evaluate how Vega does when he's calling the shots. Maybe they continue that once they get back to the Normandy after the mission. <.<

Elements I'd enjoy: Legion made a backup of itself, Shepard maybe has to do something to restore it/otherwise "resurrect" Legion, now fully sentient Legion learns more things about humans/gets curious about some things, Legion maybe travelling with Shepard again post-war or Shepard visiting Rannoch (Tali is always welcome to show up), Legion finally making sense of that confusing data about why it cares so much about Shepard (can be shippy, but tbh I'd even read something entirely platonic here, too); Control!Shepard feeling like Legion understands him better than anyone else now or the two of them helping each other relate to their organic friends better again ...
