Dear High Adrenaline creator,

Thank you for writing for me and having a look at this letter. I've got some general likes and dislikes listed - those are the important parts, really. They're followed by a list of kinks I like, should you feel inclined to write porn, and some fandom-specific prompts, but if those don't work for you - as long as you include a thing or two that I like and don't include my DNWs, I'm sure I will love whatever you write for me. :D

As a general rule, I enjoy all ratings; I like darker, angstier fic and more light-hearted stories, although neither completely conflictless fluff nor completely bleak darkfic without a ray of hope are quite my thing. I'm always happy about porn, but it's not a must. I like shorter fics and plotty longfic. If you do write porn and you want more smut-related prompts, I've requested most of these ships for Smut Swap before.

The fandoms are listed alphabetically. The length of the fandom-specific sections doesn't indicate an order of preference; I just had more ideas and prompts for some of them.

I use the same name on AO3 and tumblr as here. Treats are always welcome and I'm also open to art/comic treats. :)

* I'm fine with mentions of characters' past relationships with OCs (and obviously with things like random OC couples in casefic or mentioning people's parents). However, I don't want these ships to play a central role: a character thinking back of how they tried out this kink before with some guy they hooked up with five years ago, or briefly thinking that they used to date this guy who hated it when they did X? Totally fine. A character spending half the fic thinking about or interacting with their ex? Not something I'm interested in.

Canon-specific: I'm fine with mentions of past canon relationships that were (almost) over before canon started, but if a relationship happens during canon, I'd rather pretend it never happened (like Tali/Garrus for Mass Effect, Lucanis/Neve for DA or Jonathan/Elisabeth for Vampyr). For Cyberpunk 2077, brief mentions of Johnny's relationships with Alt or Rogue (or of Johnny and Kerry fucking various other people) are fine, but I don't want those relationships (or thinking about those relationships) to play a huge role in the fic. If I've requested several ships in a fandom, I'm fine with them appearing in the same fic.

Cyberpunk 2077

Note: No worries about Phantom Liberty spoilers

Oh God, this game. This game has eaten my brain. I love it so much. I adore the setting - the lore, the feeling of Night City, the politics, the absolute dystopian hellscape it is, the cars and the music and the ads and the media. I love that it manages to be simultaneously depressing and dark, utterly garish and hilarious, and genuinely emotionally touching in so many places. I love how real the characters feel, and I love how beautifully depressing and bittersweet the story is.

I usually go for Streetkid!V because it works really well for the story in my opinion, and also for his relationship with Johnny. Ambitious, wanting to make something of himself, kinda trashy and obnoxious (I blame the horrible clothes I put him in for that), but not really a bad guy at heart. But don't feel like you have to write him that way if that doesn't work for you. I think Corpo!V could also be very interesting for Takemura/V (though less so when Johnny is involved). I'm just not particularly into the Nomad background. And in general, for player characters, I'd prefer the characterisation mostly focused on what's actually canon in the game rather than extensive headcanons about their background/past/history.

Other than that, I love Johnny so much - this narcissistic, charismatic, self-centred piece of shit who realised way too late that he actually cares about some people in his life. He's so angry and messed up about the world and just raging helplessly at it. I love that he's not even remotely a good or a nice person. Same with Kerry - he's not a bad guy, but he's kind of a self-centred douchebag, too, and I love him for it. These two just have so many issues and that's what makes them fun. With Takemura, I love that he's quite affable and likeable ... he's just Lawful as fuck and devoted to a horrible system - and I have such a soft spot for the lawful, dutiful types.

Note: Despite my usual "serious illness and character death" DNW, I'm mostly fine with it to a canonical extent here. So mentions (or even detailed explorations) of the fact that V is dying, and all the ways in which the Relic is hurting him, are fine. Anything relating to that that I've specifically prompted is fine. The fact that Johnny is technically dead (and that Kerry mourned him for decades) is also fine. I'd just prefer a fic that isn't exclusively focused on death and dying and nothing else (and please no non-canonical deaths or extra illnesses).

Johnny Silverhand/Kerry Eurodyne

Aaaaaah, they're so messed up about each other! I love that it's been fifty years and Kerry is still not over Johnny. Fifty years and he still wonders what Johnny would think of him, fifty years and his eyes still light up like that when he realises that Johnny is back. Fifty years and he immediately recognises Johnny playing the guitar, and he's so angry at him, but he also missed him so much. And I love that their relationship isn't really as one-sided as it appears at first - Johnny doesn't like admitting he cares about anyone, but he clearly does care about Kerry. In the present, but also in the past - considering he tried to stop him from leaving the band several times. He wanted Kerry around, for all his bitching about Kerry just being the "second fiddle" in his life and not as amazing as him and whatnot.

I love how completely messed up their relationship is - it's very "can't live with you, can't live without you". They're crazy about each other, but also awful to each other half the time. I'm mostly looking for a messy amour fou sort of thing, rather than for something fluffy (though I don't mind them being happy together, I just imagine it's Complicated a lot of the time). I love them being kind of obsessive about each other and horrible to anyone else the other one sleeps with and manipulative and half the time they argue and half the time they adore each other. Give me all the fucked up rockerboy love.

I would happily read fic set in the past as well as fic set during the game when Johnny is stuck in male V's body and V occasionally lets Johnny out to play. I'm also good with some kind of post-canon AU in which Johnny and V continue to share a body, just without dying (I love the endings being what they are, but continued bodysharing is great for fic). Or even a AU in which Johnny somehow gets a new body and he and V both get to live.

(Don't feel like you have to, but since canon never gives us their exact ages and Johnny looks a good deal older than Kerry in the flashbacks, I really love the idea of them meeting when Kerry is 16-18 and Johnny is in his late 20s (underage is totally fine), and Kerry crushes hard on this cool, slightly older guy and Johnny enjoys the hell out of the attention (while also falling for him) ... I think it really works well for their relationship. But if you prefer writing them as being the same age, that's fine, too.)

how did they meet? heard each other strumming on the street somewhere? jammed a bit together in a guitar shop, stole a guitar, ran from the cops? got in a fight at a bar for some stupid reason (with each other, or fighting someone else together)? one of them heard the other play a gig with his previous band?
they're both such music geeks! jamming together, composing together, arguing about songs they're writing together - I love that for all of Johnny's dickishness towards Kerry, he clearly respects him much more as a musician than he wants to admit. him listening to Kerry play on the yacht for I don't know how long without saying a word? I don't think Johnny is that quiet and still in any other scene in the game - I'd love more of that
Kerry wrote a lot of songs that are (more or less obviously) about Johnny over the years - when Johnny comes back from the dead and finds out, he wants to be a dick about it, but he's also touched (also: Johnny playing one of Kerry's songs about him, or Johnny actually writing a song about Kerry)
related: Johnny has a thing for Kerry's hands/fingers
all the times Kerry shamelessly hit on Johnny and Johnny said no (and maybe the one time he finally said yes?)
all the UST-filled arguments they had over the years they played together in Samurai
Johnny can tell Rogue that the one thing he'd do differently if he had the chance was to fuck Kerry - through *handwave* plot reasons Johnny gets sent back into the past when he and V are separated and finally has a chance to do that, or maybe that conversation simply makes him realise that he now has a second chance to finally give Kerry what he always wanted.
Johnny (says/thinks he) doesn't want to fuck Kerry, but that won't stop him from watching Kerry sleep with other guys while they make very intense eye contact at each other (maybe Johnny even orders the other guy around and tells him how to fuck Kerry)
Johnny used to fuck Kerry (and was maybe even in love with him), but he edited that out of his memories in Mikoshi. cue lots of anger when Kerry realises this, and lots of angst on Johnny's part because how can he even be sure he's still himself if he can't trust his memories? (I'd be up for Johnny eventually regaining the memories.)
Johnny kept Kerry from leaving Samurai several times - maybe Kerry only stayed on the condition that ... Johnny kissed him, fucked him, blew him, anything fun like that (and Johnny pretended he was only doing it to make him stay, but he enjoyed it more than he wants to admit) - I kind of enjoy how much Johnny is like an abusive boyfriend who is a dick to Kerry when he has him, but doesn't let him leave either because he's possessive (really, don't worry about going too hard on just how unhealthy and fucked up their relationship is)
or conversely: when Kerry tries to leave ~~him~~ the band, Johnny decides the best way to make him stay is to finally give him what he wants and fuck him (can be very dubcon-y if Kerry was so furious he wasn't even in the mood, but he should end up enjoying himself)
something set during those years after Samurai broke up, but Johnny and Kerry were still touring together, still in each other's space and never really getting over each other
the reason they never fucked in the past is because Johnny, by himself, really is straight - but he gets stuck in the head of a gay male V and their whole mindmelding business makes him appreciate Kerry in ways he never has before ...
they always argue, sometimes their arguments end with fucking roughly against the nearest surface (maybe this only happens in the present, too, and they realise they get along so much better when they can fuck out their issues with each other)
I love how grabby and shameless and demanding Kerry is in his sex scene with V, even while bottoming - so give me Johnny finding out about this and being super into it

TLDR: Johnny discovering to his surprise he may have a bit of a subby side and also that there's nothing he doesn't want to try out with Kerry
Kerry has pretty much the most gorgeous cyberware in the entire game, and he didn't have that yet back when Johnny still lived (not even those very blue eyes) - Johny wants to find it ridiculous and stupid, but he's also very, very into it (especially Kerry's absolutely gorgeous throat, because throat kink :D)
speaking of throat kink: Johnny canonically likes getting choked - either Kerry already knew about this before they ever fucked, or Kerry had no idea and Johnny just asks him to do it when they finally fuck (Kerry riding Johnny's dick while choking him? :D)
related: Kerry putting his belt around Johnny's neck to choke him and drag him around a bit by it - Johnny is very surprised by how much he's into something that's basically a leash
soulmate AU (I'm very partial to shared scars) but Johnny despises the idea of soulmates and anybody telling him who he's meant to be with, so he refuses to get together with Kerry. He doesn't realise he actually wants to be with him until during/post-canon - maybe only after he sees that Kerry had the scars or whatever other soulmate mark there is removed and Johnny realises he hates that.
if Johnny lives (whether in V's body or otherwise) - what will he get up to now? how does that fit with his new thing with Kerry? or does he only go to Kerry again to fess up that he maybe changed his mind about them post-canon?
Temperance ending, but Johnny goes to see Kerry instead of leaving Night City ... and maybe Kerry's money or just Kerry kicking Johnny's ass help bring V back somehow (whether in the same or a new body), after giving Johnny and Kerry some time to get closer again. (V doesn't have to appear in person for this, but I'd like there to be at least the possibility of him returning)
Johnny gets control of V's body for one night before he canonically goes to see Rogue and Kerry - he runs into Kerry accidentally (assuming Kerry ever leaves the house, lol), maybe at a bar, and decides to see how he's doing, but without telling him (immediately) that it's him ... and then he can get worried because Kerry is clearly depressed and suicidal. (I'd also take the identity porn version of Johnny sleeping with Kerry without telling him who he is - Kerry will be furious, but that might just snap him out of his apathy)
just in case anyone else ships both Kerry/Johnny and Takemura/V, I'd love to see the hilarious mess of a situation if V and Johnny continue sharing a body while Johnny is sleeping with Kerry and V is sleeping with Takemura - it sounds like it'd be simultaneously funny, messed up and incredibly awkward, especially since Johnny and Takemura can't stand each other

Johnny Silverhand/Male V

This relationship was really the highlight of the game for me, from the antagonistic start to that very quick development towards "I would literally die for you", complete with nonstop banter and complaining about each other, and the forced intimacy of being stuck in one head and sharing all their emotions and memories and not being able to hide anything from each other. It's such an intense, amazingly developed relationship in canon, and I want more of that. I love how Johnny is objectively the worst thing that ever happened to V ... but after losing him, V feels completely lonely and empty and just misses him (and same if Johnny is the one to lose V). /o\ So clearly they belong together forever.

I'd love fic set during canon, whether early on or towards the end, but I'd also be up for any kind of post-canon AU in which they both survive - whether as continued bodysharing or with Johnny in a new body (though I'd prefer him looking/sounding like himself). If you want to involve Kerry in this, I have Johnny/Kerry/V prompts below. I'd also be up for V sleeping with both Takemura and Johnny (who continue to hate each other). I'm less into V hooking up with any other canon characters unless prompted, though V sleeping with random OMCs before he and Johnny get together is of course fine.

weird bodysharing sex! They seem to be able to touch each other to some extent, so how does that work? Or does Johnny just talk dirty to V while V jerks off and make suggestions? Does Johnny enjoy the shared sensations? Do their preferences become more similar? Does Johnny tell V to choke himself a little because obviously he's going to be into that now?
I'm always up for Johnny having a lot of issues with being into a guy (whether he was genuinely straight and it's only mindmelding with V that makes him be into guys, or he was always bi but has a looooot of hangups and internalised homophobia about it) - maybe he tells himself bodysharing sex doesn't count, it's just jerking off! (and what happens in a post-canon verse in which they have separate bodies and Johnny still wants to have sex with V? how is fucking in normal physical bodies different from their mind sex?)
V trying to piss Johnny off by fucking as many guys as possible early on (if you want to combine this with V/Takemura, I'm here for that - Johnny would be so mad) - complete with some voyeurism and Johnny maybe commenting on what's happening
Johnny sabotaging V's attempts at dating any of those guys because he actually wants to keep him to himself, but he's too emotionally constipated to just say that - V eventually snaps at him that he doesn't get to tell V what to do unless they're together, and maybe that's when Johnny confesses that that's what he'd like
V can wear a lot of Johnny's clothes in the game - turns out Johnny is very much into that (also, V in a separate body still dressing like Johnny because it makes him feel closer to him - Johnny is still into that)
if V and Johnny somehow survive in the same body and have to bodyshare for good, how does that work? do they share their time equally? (I'd prefer if V was conscious when Johnny is in charge, too) does Johnny convince him to grow out his hair, while V possibly still keeps it dyed in ridiculous colours? do they just randomly switch who's in control when they feel like it?
if they survive in separate bodies: maybe they're both relieved at first and want to get away from each other ... only to realise that they got so used to being around each other that they can barely stand to be apart. maybe they keep living together in merc legend V's fancy flat, maybe that's when they start touching each other and going from more or less platonic touching to fucking, because that's somehow the most intimacy they can still achieve after sharing a brain. (are they unbearable to be around? do they voice every damn thought they have and finish each other's sentences? do they still bicker nonstop? outside POVs would be fun)
people assume V and Johnny in separate bodies are a couple because they go everywhere together (maybe work together as mercs sometimes?) - V is very okay with that, Johnny seems to hate the idea ... until he realises that there might be some truth to it
maybe they miss sharing a brain so much they find some way to link their minds again - something related to braindance tech or to the tech Panam and V used for the tank - so now they can have ridiculous telepathic conversations again, probably while confusing everyone else around them
all the identity porn: one of them having to pretend to be the other; all the clothes changes when they switch who's in charge; people recognising who's in charge because they're so different ...
I love all those little comfortable moments in canon, just the two of them doing stuff together like the rollercoaster date or finding who's behind Swedenborg-Riviera just because Johnny is excited about the whole thing and wants to know
V smoking for Johnny's sake is great. more of that please. (maybe post-separation, V keeps smoking)
anything dealing with the forced emotional intimacy when Johnny is absolute shit at admitting he cares about people - probably the first time in his life he can't pretend not to care about someone
anything dealing with the age difference! Johnny must have been a good 20 years older than V when he died (I prefer V being 22 to 27)
Johnny and V in separate bodies working together - doing merc work that Johnny doesn't disapprove of, but also doing the occasional bit of anarchist terrorism for Johnny's sake. helping each other, saving each other's life, taking bullets for each other, angsting when the other one gets badly injured, patching each other up, dramatically carrying each other to Vik's clinic ...
but also: Johnny getting back into music (maybe with Kerry?) because he's trying to be less self-destructive while V continues his merc legend life
anything dealing with all the ways in which they become more similar - sudden shared tastes in food, new kinks they acquire from each other, opinions they start sharing, things they're suddenly both angry about ...
Johnny and Takemura have to work together to save V, who got kidnapped/captured. They continue to hate each other, but have to set that aside for V's sake. Could involve Johnny in a suit or Takemura dressing down. Will probably involve V having wild threesome fantasies that Johnny and Takemura are both not up for.
any variation on the canon endings in which one of them is actually dead for a while - Temperance ending and Johnny has to find a way to bring V back to life, of merc legend ending and V's space heist is not just about finding a way to save his own life, but also about procuring a new body for Johnny's engram. feel free to handwave as much plot as you like, but I'd love to see either of them actually having to live with the guilt and shame of surviving and letting the other one die for a few weeks or months, until they find a way to bring the other one back
one of the side effects of his brain slowly turning into Johnny's (and maybe this particular side effect persists even after whatever handwavey solution happens to make them both survive) is that V can't feel/move his left arm anymore because his/Johnny's brain thinks it shouldn't be there, so V eventually has it replaced with a chrome arm - Johnny gets worried and freaks out a bit about it because what if V is still dying somehow? not to mention that losing his arm was kinda traumatic for him, so he might not like the idea of V doing that to himself (feel free to ignore my no-serious-injuries/amputation DNW for this one; body horror very welcome, just as long as V ends up with a functioning chrome arm he's happy with in the end)

Kerry Eurodyne/Male V

I still can't believe we got so incredibly lucky with the canon romance in this game. :D The massive age difference! The fact that Kerry is such a delightful disaster of a person with all his messy, fucked up issues! Just how much fun he and V have together, how much they clearly like each other from the start and just enjoy spending time with each other - how happy they end up making each other. And of course there are lots of issues there - V dying, Kerry being kinda suicidal and a mess, both of them being messed up about Johnny in different ways - and I enjoy all the angst potential of that, too, but the fact remains that they both clearly fall for each other so fast and just love being with each other, and that makes me incredibly happy. :D

My only complaint would be how little content they got, so I'd love to see anything that fills in the blanks and shows us more of how their relationship develops, how they get from the initial "you're hot and fun to be around" to being deeply in love with each other in the Sun epilogue. I'm also always here for post-canon fix-its so they can actually be happy together (I prefer the Sun ending if you go post-canon). And of course Johnny - whether he's actually present or just a ghost - is so hugely important to both of them and I'd love that coming up in some ways; I wouldn't want them both to just be happily over him and never think about him. I'm always here for Johnny/Kerry/V, too, and I have prompts for that below that you could combine with all this.

their first dates: what happens after the yacht thing? Do they immediately keep seeing each other? Does one of them think it was just a one-time hookup, but then the other one calls? What else do they get up to and how often do they see each other before Mikoshi?
Kerry keeps calling V with "jobs" that are increasingly obvious excuses to see him/spend time with him - eventually V tells him he doesn't need to hire him for that
early on: Kerry comes by V's little megabuilding apartment - maybe V is a bit embarrassed or tries very hard to be a good host or just happily shows him his cat and his gun/clothes collections
the six months between Mikoshi and the Sun epilogue: V comes back without Johnny, devastated and feeling empty and still dying, and presumably at this point he and Kerry haven't been dating for that long yet (if they've been dating at all and didn't just fuck a few times) - does he go to Kerry? Does Kerry check up on him? I'd love it if V didn't expect Kerry to stick around and stay with him through his last dying months, but Kerry actually wants to be there for him. I'd love the bittersweetness of V still dying and feeling guilty for Johnny's death mixed with him and Kerry falling in love and feeling like they'd actually have a future together, if only ... And all that ahappens while they both mourn Johnny and miss him (I'd love if there was at least the option of V finding a cure, though it doesn't have to be explicitly addressed in the fic; I just don't want him to definitely 100% die at the end)
post-Sun fix-it: V (possibly after falling in love with Kerry while dying for months) finds a way to save his life (and maybe bring Johnny back, too) ... cue happy reunions, maybe some angst because V isn't sure Kerry didn't just stick around out of guilt, but isn't actually interested in a long-term relationship, maybe some fun because V can just go tour with Kerry for a while now or enjoy being rich or whatnot

Feel free to use any of the prompts/ideas listed above for Johnny/Kerry and Johnny/V and Kerry/V. :) I love V's relationship with both of them - how antagonistic he and Johnny start out and then slowly grow closer (while also becoming more similar to each other), and also how V and Kerry's relationship starts with Kerry just seeing V as a way to see Johnny again, but then actually growing to like V himself, too. It makes for a fascinating triangle where all three characters are, in one way or another, really into each other. And I imagine they'd all have their insecurities about the other two - V about all that history Johnny and Kerry share, Kerry about the fact that V and Johnny literally share a brain and body and it doesn't get much more intimate than that, Johnny about the fact that Kerry and V actually have something resembling a functional, happy relationship.

As with the previous requests, I'd be up for fic set during canon or, especially for this ship, an AU long-term solution where Johnny and V either have to share a body forever and they're both kind of dating Kerry (and possibly also sleeping with each other when Kerry isn't around) and it's messy and complicated, but still works somehow, or an AU in which Johnny somehow gets himself a new body that looks like him.

Dragon Age

Ah, I love these games! I've played and enjoyed all of them, including Veilguard, and I'm always up for having characters from different games meet as well, if you're writing something on the plotty side. Some characters I enjoy in general are: Alistair, male Hawke (especially purple mage Hawke), Fenris, Anders, Cullen, Dorian, Solas, Cassandra, Emmrich, Lucanis, Davrin. I am, however, not particularly invested in any of the non-Hawke protagonists - I mostly played male human mages because that's what works for me, but I'm not all that interested in reading fic about any Rooks, Wardens and Inquisitors. I'm okay with them getting mentioned or appearing briefly, but I'd prefer to keep the focus on the NPCs.

In general, I adore the messy worldbuilding and complicated politics of these games - magic being dangerous, mages and elves being oppressed in the South (but also having their own history of oppressing others), the Templar/mage conflict, the fucked up history of the elven empire and of Tevinter, slavery in Tevinter, the political influence of the Chantry ... I love that many of the character conflicts aren't about one character being right and the other being wrong, but about both of them having understandable points and the situation being too complex and nuanced for simple answers. My main criticism of Veilguard was actually that it mostly did away with all that, so if you want to reintroduce some messy worldbuilding, fucked up politics and grey morality into ships for that, PLEASE do. :D

Dorian Pavus/Cullen Rutherford

I love how much of a guilt- and PTSD-ridden mess Cullen is, that mixture of anger and fucked-up-ness on the one side and the sweetness on the other. I enjoy his whole addiction storyline and how he clearly thinks he deserves some suffering; I love his awkward attempts at redemption while not actually letting go of all his old opinions about mages and magic. He's such a wonderfully complex, complicated guy, and I love fic that explores that further, both the darker sides he's not at all comfortable with anymore and his kinder side. I've always been interested in characters who are (or were) decent people but spend a long time upholding a bad system, and I love him seeing struggling with all that.

I love how passionate Dorian is while still so often hiding his feelings behind his wit and jokes. How confident he is in his looks and his skills while also feeling constantly out of place and lonely and in some ways inadequate. I also really enjoyed his blind spots about his privilege in DAI, so him going full "my goal in life is to abolish slavery" in Veilguard was, frankly, kinda boring to me. I'd prefer him focusing on general reform and change in the Imperium and, if you write something set post-Inquisition, for Tevinter politics to remain a bit more complicated than "evil Venatori doing blood sacrifices 24/7 vs. Good People abolishing slavery". For that reason, I'm also not super into Dorian (or Maevaris) becoming Archon or the entire Magisterium getting decimated at the end. Nooo, let him struggle with complicated politics and assholes he grudgingly has to work with some more! Let things be messy and full of filthy compromises.

Anyway, back to the ship: I love that their respective issues are a great recipe for intimacy issues and misunderstandings. I'm really into the idea of them being friends who stumble into bed together and have mindblowing kinky sex, and then they catch feelings while both being convinced that the other one couldn't possibly be interested in an actual relationship (Dorian because he thinks he can't have a loving relationship with a man, Cullen because he thinks he's too much of a mess to inflict on anyone). But I'm also interested in different takes on how they might get together - if you'd rather write long pining while they flirt casually but think the other one isn't actually interested, I'd gladly read that, too! Or if you want to write some antagonistic hate sex very early on before they actually get to know each other, and they only realise later there's more to the other one than meets the eye.

On a shallow note: jfc, they're so hot together. :D

I will read a thousand first time fics for this ship, I'm not even kidding. Whether it's UST and pining until they both break, or casual fucking after chess games while they both do their best to convince themselves that no feelings are involved (and of course neither wants to admit to any feelings because the other one is clearly just in it for a friends-with-benefits arrangement, not for love), I'll take it.
I headcanon that Cullen is still irrationally terrified of mages whether he wants to or not. I'd imagine that a mage from Tevinter who wasn't taught to obey (ex-)Templars his whole life must be even more terrifying. Cullen being torn between his attraction to Dorian and his fear of mages, wanting him but also not really wanting to be alone with him because an irrational part of his brain can't help but go "but what if he decides to hurt me?"
related to that: this ship is just made for the filthiest D/s, if you want to write some porn. Cullen topping Dorian hard because it's the only way he can get past all his fears of sleeping with a mage; actual Templar/mage roleplay because Dorian can't believe that mages are really treated that way in the south (but he finds it kind of intriguing, you know, since he never had to live through it); slave roleplay because pretending to be a slave is probably the single most humiliating thing Dorian can think of (and Cullen would feel horrible for how much he's into the idea of owning Dorian and doing what he wants with him); and if you throw in actual consent play and Dorian pretending soooo hard that he doesn't want this at all, I'll be the happiest person in the universe
but also: Cullen who's afraid of hurting him, so he lets Dorian order him around, kneels and worships him, does exactly what Dorian wants him to do and nothing more ...
sometimes they go a bit far in their kinky, rough sex - it's still consensual, but Cullen actually hurts Dorian more than he intended to and feels absolutely awful about it afterwards, so maybe he tries to break things off (maybe Dorian thinks Cullen is disgusted by the fact that Dorian still enjoyed this much pain and humiliation)
Cullen is a virgin (too awkward/dutiful as a teenager, too traumatised after Kinloch Hold), but he has a filthy imagination and thinks nobody could possibly want to do all those kinky things he dreams about with him - maybe Dorian finds out somehow and offers to let Cullen try out some of his fantasies, or maybe they get together first and Cullen desperately tries to be "normal" about sex (and fails)

lyrium relapse! whether Cullen simply can't resist his addiction at some point or whether he chugs a lyrium draft in an emergency because they're fighting mages and he needs to do something (maybe save Dorian's life) - could be both during Inquisition or post-canon if they're in Tevinter and being around all those mages all day is messing with Cullen's head
generally, if you want to write something fluffy, I'd love to see all the different ways they find to take care of each other
all the internalised homophobia and general intimacy-related issues: Dorian who never thought he'd really find love rather than just brief distractions, and Cullen who may not have any hangups about loving a man, but who thought he was simply too broken to fall in love, let alone to deserve being loved by someone else
I adore post-canon fic in which Cullen follows Dorian to Tevinter, e.g. as Inquisition ambassador: reunions are great (especially if they never even talked about their feelings back in the south, and Dorian just assumed they wouldn't see each other again; or maybe they only had UST during Inquisition and never got together), Cullen being horribly uncomfortable in Tevinter (that place wouldn't help his issues with mages at all) is great; Dorian and Cullen arguing because they disagree about so many things is great (e.g. Dorian still being nonchalant about slavery and Cullen not being cool with having a bunch of slaves serve him in Dorian's house; or Dorian making compromises with less progressive magisters to get at least some reforms passed in the Magisterium and Cullen hates that he's working with these people)
but also: Cullen, the Fereldan farmboy turned Inquisition Commander, realising to his horror how much he enjoys some of the luxuries of life in Tevinter - the wine, the food, the spices, the silk sheets, the expensive outfits Dorian keeps insisting he needs to wear, maybe even some of the magic gadgets they have around
any and all outside POVs on the weirdness that is the southern ex-Templar and the Tevinter mage falling in love would be great, whether it's someone in the Inquisition or from/in Tevinter. (I'd totally read a fic about them from Dorian's father's POV, while we're at it.)
related: someone in the Inquisition (maybe one of the rebel mages?) accidentally catches a glimpse of Dorian and Cullen's fucked up mage/Templar games and is seriously weirded out by it and/or worried about Dorian
another possible outside POV: Emmrich meeting Dorian again, since he knew him as a student, and being surprised that Dorian is now mature enough for an actual relationship (especially if he and Dorian had an affair back then) ... and maybe also being surprised that he's apparently quite happy with a southern (ex-)Templar?
Dorian using blood magic to save Cullen's life (because nothing gets me like people breaking their One Principle for their loved one) - maybe the lyrium use catches up with Cullen and normal magic can't heal his brain anymore, but a blood magic ritual could; and Dorian loves him too much not to try everything for him, even knowing that Cullen will be furious
I love Dorian's complicated, messy relationship with his father (I actually have prompts for them here), so if you want to write an AU in which Halward doesn't die so soon and he and Dorian actually have to work together to make some change in the Imperium happen, I'd be here for that - including for Cullen and Halward interacting and Cullen maybe being a lot less forgiving towards Dorian's father than Dorian can be
basically, you know how I mentioned in my general likes that I love unhealthy relationships that should be trainwrecks but work incredibly well for the people involved? This ship is definitely one of those. :D

Emmrich Volkarin/Lucanis Dellamorte, Emmrich Volkarin/Lucanis Dellamorte/Spite

Oh, Emmrich and Lucanis are so good! They were my faves in Veilguard and I love all their interactions - their completely different worldviews and attitudes towards death make for such interesting conversations, they're both snobs with good taste who love the finer things in life, and Emmrich has more sympathy and understanding for Lucanis' whole demon situation than anyone else. I love that Emmrich and Spite clearly like each other, too, that they can interact with each other, and I'm 100% here for including Spite however much you want (including during porn).

Like I said above, I missed the whole Dragon Age grey-and-grey morality in Veilguard, so if you want to include that a bit more, I'd love that. Emmrich may have had a fairly sheltered life in the Necropolis, but he must have dealt with anti-mage prejudices, too. He must have had a Templar escort any time he travelled outside of the Necropolis or at least outside of Nevarra. Lucanis is an assassin who without a doubt has killed people who didn't deserve it. He's specialised in killing mages and has seen the worst of what mages can get up to. He went through a ton of horrible things both as a child/during his training and in the Ossuary. Being an abomination is really fucking dangerous for himself and for others. And so on, and so forth. So if you want to give them some more issues or things to disagree about or want to focus a bit on any of these things, I'd enjoy that.

I enjoy the idea of Lucanis being either a complete virgin or at least very inexperienced (and feeling awkward about it at this point in his life), but I'm also up for him having had plenty of casual sex and just no relationships, if you prefer writing him like that. With Emmrich, I imagine he's had plenty of relationships that just didn't last all that long, and plenty of experience.

Lucanis keeps buying nice things and doing nice things for Emmrich to woo him (cooking his favourite meals, bringing him tea while he's working, inviting him to walks on beautiful cemeteries in Treviso ...), but because Lucanis does nice things for everyone, Emmrich doesn't catch on that it's meant to be romantic
I love them being snobs together - going to wine tastings or fine restaurants, buying each other tasteful gifts ...
either one of them playing +1 at some social event for the other, especially if they aren't together yet - Emmrich reluctantly charming Antivan nobility? Lucanis being surprisingly good at talking about magic with Emmrich's academic circles? one of Emmrich's colleagues being obnoxious about Emmrich having a younger lover, Emmrich wanting to clear up the misunderstanding and Lucanis turning the whole thing into fake dating out of spite?
the class difference between them is fun - Emmrich grew up on the poorer side even if he has money now, Lucanis grew up filthy rich and spends large sums of money without a second thought, so I'd love to see how that influences the gifts they give each other
Lucanis sets out to use some of that Crow seduction training on Emmrich - the problem is just that he's never gone past the seduction part and isn't entirely sure where to go from there (which might make poor turned on Emmrich think that Lucanis changed his mind)

Emmrich Volkarin/Dorian Pavus

I love the fact that these two know each other or rather knew each other when Dorian was young and probably incredibly obnoxious, and I would be up for both fic set during that time when Dorian was in Nevarra as a student or something set around the time of Veilguard (though like I said above in my Dorian/Cullen section, I'm not super into where Veilguard went with Dorian; I prefer Tevinter politics to be a bit more messy). For this ship, I'm good with it being actually romantic, but I'd be just as happy to read about them fucking with no strings attached.

If you write about Dorian as a student, underage down to about 15 is totally fine, but I'm also up for him being in Nevarra as an adult.

cheeky student Dorian crushing on his dashing gentleman professor in Nevarra and setting out to seduce him - maybe Emmrich tries to resist him at first (because Dorian is too young for him? because Dorian is his student and it'd be unprofessional? because Emmrich likes him way too much and figures he'll get his heart broken?), but eventually goes for it

Ghost of Tsushima
Lord Shimura/Jin Sakai

This is such a wonderful game! I will admit that a big part of why I picked it up is because I heard that it had an amazing uncle/nephew ship and ... wow, it didn't disappoint. I mean, I loved the entire game - the gorgeous landscapes, the great gameplay, the exploration, the absolutely heartbreaking story, all those themes of identity and duty and suffering for the sake of duty - but that relationship was really the heart of it all and I loved it so much. It's devastatingly sad, but it's still so obvious right up until the end that they love each other deeply even while things deteriorate more and more between them, that they don't really have anyone but each other, and that they desperately wish they could be on the same side again, but everything between them has just become so hopeless by the end. They made me cry several times throughout the game.

I really adored Jin while playing the game - that mix between his gentler side (how sweet he is with his horses, the flute playing, the overall protectiveness towards everyone) and his utterly ruthless, murderous side. How much he loves and respects his uncle, but is still willing to go against him when he thinks it's right. I'm also such a sucker for conflicting duties and people basically breaking themselves because they try to do what's right, and sometimes doing what's right means breaking all your principles and everything you were taught and losing the person you love most in the world. All these themes of duty and what is and isn't acceptable in the face of overwhelming odds fascinate me and I'd love to see that picked up in fic, too.

I also love Shimura, though, because even though he is rigid to the point of being unreasonable, he also isn't wrong sometimes - Jin's methods do in fact backfire on him at times, and the things you do to win a war are things you can't undo once the war is over and you need to restore peace again. I love complicated relationships in which neither party is completely right or wrong. And the really heartbreaking thing about them is that there was probably some sort of compromise to be found that would have been better for everyone involved, but instead they were both convinced that their way was right and the other one was being blind and unreasonable.

I'd be up for pre-canon fic or something set during canon or any kind of post-canon AU - as much as I adore the absolute tragedy of canon, I'm still desperate for any fix-it in which they somehow find back to each other and things turn out less bleak than in canon. I'd love to see a 'verse in which Jin does in fact get to go home after everything is over, even if he still has to deal with all the things he's done and all the damage his relationship with Shimura has taken. Feel free to go about that however you like, with as much detail or handwaving as you prefer. I'd just rather not get post-canon fic in which Jin stays the Ghost forever and is just lonely and miserable while getting hunted. I'd prefer to leave that level of depressing in canon. ;D

maybe part of the reason Shimura is this obsessed with honour and Never Breaking The Rules is because he has some very dishonourable thougths about his nephew, and if you start just doing whatever you want, well, who knows where that might lead ...
apparently it wasn't unusual for samurai and their wards to have a sexual relationship - now of course Shimura thinks he can't just do that with his nephew, but maybe there are still some ... lessons? kisses, jerking off together, things they can pass off as plausible deniability, while both wishing they could do more than that
or: Shimura takes Jin to a sex worker to teach him about sex, since he isn't going to fuck him himself; but they're both far more interested in each other than in the person they're meant to fuck together (longing looks and fleeting touches on the third party's body and Jin asking Shimura to show him what to do ...)
or maybe Shimura wasn't at all interested in Jin when he was younger, but once he's grown up, an adult and a great warrior and everything Shimura had ever hoped he'd become, it just hits him how much he loves and desires him - I'm always here for a good "oh no, why is he suddenly hot" moment
Jin thinking about how much he'd love to go bathing in a hot spring with his uncle makes me want fic about just that, pre-canon, post-canon, whenever, just let them relax together
speaking of relaxing: going on a ride together, Shimura listening to Jin play the flute, just generally spending time together and enjoying each other's company (especially if it's post-canon when things are Complicated, but they still want to be around each other)
reunion sex after Jin rescues Shimura and they escape from the castle - they were worried about each other, blood runs hot, they both thought they'd lost each other ... and it leads to them finally acting on all that UST they always did their best to ignore (and if that maybe contributes to things becoming Difficult between them afterwards because Shimura insists they can't possibly do that again while Jin wants them to ... I'd be into that)
I'm obsessed with that slap - it's obvious Shimura has never hit Jin before and is absolutely horrified by himself; so maybe an AU exploration of what might happen afterwards - maybe Jin does let Shimura apologise, maybe they end up fighting each other a bit, maybe they end up all over each other in different ways
Jin-as-the-Ghost sneaking into Shimura's castle after act 2 to talk to him, and maybe Shimura can say things to him, or do things to him, that he never managed to say to Jin while he was thinking of him as his nephew or his son
under whatever circumstances: Jin sneaking into Shimura's bed at night and them having sex without ever talking about it, and in the morning they both pretend nothing happened (and maybe eventually something happens that forces them to acknowledge what they've been doing)
AU in which Shimura does adopt Jin as his son, just to make them both feel even more guilty about their attraction (and I'm all for Shimura calling him "my son" in bed)
AU in which the shogun figures the Ghost can be useful and offers Jin a pardon for all his Ghost crimes if he goes to Iki and cleans up the Mongol problem there - he expects Jin to die conveniently, but instead Jin comes back and actually gets his life back. I'd love to see Jin and Shimura having to deal with the fallout of their decisions, of their arguments and disagreements, but also getting a second chance at the life they would have had otherwise; Shimura learning to see Jin as an equal rather than his ward who'll always just follow his orders would also be very interesting
related: Jin still suffering from the Eagle's poison when he returns to Shimura, with all the hallucinations and fears, and Shimura helping him through that
also related to Iki Island: I'd love some conversations about Jin's father and Jin maybe understanding Shimura's point of view better now that he knows how ruthless his father was
I'm generally fascinated by Jin's and Shimura's relationship to Jin's father, so anything exploring that (and also the fact that Shimura was clearly already very involved in Jin's life while his parents were alive) would be interesting
any kind of flashbacks to Jin's childhood/youth and Shimura's involvement and how their relationship changed over the years
the scene of Jin kneeling in front of Shimura and telling him he lives to serve him continues to live in my head, so - all the displays of loyalty and fealty and submission, whether it's early on when Jin unambiguously means it or later on as part of some messed up kind of reconciliation or in an attempt to pretend that things are still as easy between them as they used to be (maybe Jin will disobey him again in the morning, but at night, he'll do anything Shimura demands)
AU in which Shimura has to go on the run with Jin for a while - maybe there are fewer loyal soldiers left than expected, or they have to get to them first, or they were cut off from their main camp; anything that forces Shimura to go along with Jin's in-game life for a bit, from the not-quite-honourable tactics to sleeping curled up together in barns or in the woods ...
canon ends the way it does (though with Shimura surviving), but the Ghost eventually does something or other that earns him the shogun's forgiveness and gets him his life back (maybe by saving the life of someone important?) - I'd love for Jin and Shimura to be reunited at a time when they'd already thought that was impossible for them, and Jin having a hard time adjusting to his old life again, while Shimura had some time to reconsider his own opinions, too
if the adoption offer happened under somewhat more peaceful circumstances: it's all Jin ever wanted, but at the same time, he feels like he can't accept because being in love with your father feels even worse than being in love with your uncle - so he might have to confess all that to Shimura if he plans to reject his offer ... maybe things go from there because Shimura isn't as shocked and disgusted as Jin expected
all the mutual body worship, touching each other's scars and muscles, sword-calloused hands, hair etc.

I love that Shimura clearly didn't hurt Jin while raising him (or he wouldn't have been so shocked by the slap), so maybe they're also very gentle and loving with each other once they start having sex ... but Jin actually wouldn't mind a bit of roughness and has to coax Shimura into it
the more fucked up version of this: Jin does feel guilty for some of the things he's done and even though he's convinced they were necessary, he still wants Shimura to punish him for them in bed - cue some carthartic spanking/whipping/dominance/rough sex (if you want to combine this with the displays of loyalty mentioned above, yes please)

Mass Effect

I replayed the whole trilogy a while ago and was frustrated again that the games didn't let me romance the characters I wanted to romance most. I adore Shepard's relationship with both Garrus and James so much: that undying loyalty, will-follow-you-to-the-end-of-the-galaxy, where-were-you-all-my-life friendship he has with Garrus, how much renegade Shepard enables Garrus's darker impulses and how much they just get each other; and that more complicated relationship with James, the fact that James massively hero-worshipped Shepard before meeting him, and then babysat him for six months when Shepard was at his lowest, and then in ME3 he really feels like one of the people who keep Shepard grounded, who are aware that he's human and that this war is taking a toll on him, that his hero is fallible. There's a lot of interesting layers to explore there.

I strongly prefer renegade Shepard (who is nicer to his companions/friends) because he's just 100% tailored to my character preferences - ruthless and efficient, the end justifies the means, snarky and intimidating, a dutiful hardass who's willing to do whatever needs to be done, no matter the cost to himself or to others. Should it come up, I really prefer him sabotaging the genophage cure for that reason because Shepard having to kill two of his friends to do what he thinks is right is such a horrifically great moment in the games (I'm generally fine with a lot of the other more "save as many people as possible" paragon decisions, but I like renegade Shepard a lot more personality-wise - I like that he's the biggest asshole you'll ever meet who also happens to be on the side of the good guys and uses his ridiculous dickishness and competence to help people by yelling, threatening, bullying and murdering his way through the galaxy).

I picked the Spacer/Ruthless backgrounds and vanguard as his class, but I'm not fixated on that, if you want to write something else. I prefer Shepard written as gay rather than bi. Ending-wise, I think for fic a handwavey "the Crucible destroyed the Reapers without destroying the geth, and Shepard is alive" works best. I'd also be super interested in a variation of the Control ending, though, in which Shepard doesn't die while uploading part of himself into a God-AI, simply because the mindfuck of co-existing with an all-powerful AI version of yourself must be incredible - so if that's something you'd like to explore, go for it! In general, I love stoic and/or angry suffering, so feel free to whump Shepard hard as long as there's a happy-ish ending.

I'm very attached to his default looks and name, so please no custom Shepards (though I don't expect anyone besides his mother to actually call Shepard by his first name anyway). I like pretty much all the other companions and am happy to read about them. My other faves are Zaeed, Legion, Miranda, Jack, Tali, Cortez, Mordin, Joker, Grunt, Samara, Traynor, Javik, EDI. I also like Aria, Anderson and Hackett a lot, as well as spacer!Shepard's relationship with his mother.

Male Shepard/Garrus Vakarian

all the awkward getting together scenarios, whether it's something similar to the canon romance for femShep or something completely different (though I wouldn't want a simple retelling of the canon romance just with mShep, please) - whether it's hooking up to blow off steam and then wondering for ages if the other one is even interested in a serious relationship, or pining for ages while thinking their friend doesn't want anything more than friendship
they only sleep with each other right before the final assault on Earth because they both know they might die ... and then Shepard does almost die and Garrus maybe has to go back to Palaven while he recovers, so they can pine some more while not seeing each other for a while
or maybe it's only after Shepard almost died at the end of the game that he manages to think about something other than defeating the Reapers and realises how much he would have regretted dying (again) without telling Garrus what he really wants
maybe they spend all of the third game fucking each other's brains out to have one good thing in their lives, but they never actually talk about any of it (partly because Shepard doesn't expect to survive the war, so he doesn't want to make any plans for the future) - so what happens after the war is over and they do actually both survive?
or they hooked up once just before the suicide mission and then were immediately separated for six months - how does it go when they meet again in 3 and the world is ending? maybe neither of them is sure if the other one is interested in continuing where they left things last time
Garrus being confused by his attraction to a human - whereas Shepard is maybe more chill about being into a turian. I'd be here for Garrus seeing Shepard hook up with turians when they're on the Citadel and having very complicated feelings about it (jealousy? but why would he be jealous, shouldn't he be glad his friend is getting laid? relief? but why would he be relieved that Shepard is clearly into turians when Garrus is tooootally not interested in him that way ...)
cue Garrus and Shepard having awkward conversations about Shepard sleeping with other turians: maybe Garrus is curious about what draws Shepard to them, maybe he wonders if Shepard just has some kind of turian fetish, maybe Shepard keeps sleeping with guys turians would consider ugly and Garrus really wants to have a word with him about his bad taste (which might lead to discussions about whether or not Garrus is considered attractive by turian standards ...)
Garrus asking Shepard how eactly he picks up those turians he hooks up with and Shepard giving him a demonstration - it was supposed to be funny, but oops, turns out Garrus is really into it
Garrus runs into a turian acquaintance who's slept with Shepard in the past - and who maybe assumes Garrus and Shepard are together now or that Garrus is interested and starts telling Garrus all kinds of things about how good Shepard is in bed; leading to Garrus unable to stop thinking about the fact that Shepard apparently really knows how to make a turian happy ...
Shepard sleeps with Primarch Victus while he's on the Normandy because, well, it's war, they're both hurting and stressed out and could use a distraction - he doesn't expect Garrus to be kind of jealous and possibly also a bit insecure because he can't exactly compete with the primarch
Shepard hurting and Garrus being (almost) the only one who catches on and sees through his "I'm totally fine" facade is like catnip to me (that scene when Garrus figures out Shepard sabotaged the genophage cure and killed Mordin is one of my favourites in the whole series). More of that, always, especially Shepard having to make more awful decisions that weigh on him, and he bottles it all up and refuses to talk about it and Garrus is there for him (and cheers him up with snark and shooting competitions and possibly sex).
by ME3 at the latest Shepard sleeps like shit - so give me all the sleepless nights spent together, maybe drinking together, or Shepard wandering the ship and ending up with Garrus who also can't sleep, Garrus trying to talk Shepard into getitng some rest, Shepard being so exhausted he actually asks Garrus to stay with him for a night because, who knows, maybe not being alone will help him sleep (and then they wake up together in the morning, actually rested and also almost naked in bed together)
Shepard getting captured by someone (Cerberus agents? batarian slavers? friends of some bad guys he killed?) and tortured or raped or otherwise hurt - maybe Garrus (and the rest of the crew) saves him, maybe he escapes by himself, but either way he's very visibly Not Okay afterwards, hurting and traumatised and hating himself for having been helpless and trying his damnedest to bury all those emotions because he needs to keep fighting
related: post-noncon bad idea sex to prove to himself that he's totally fine? yes please - maybe it goes well because he trusts Garrus so much and it does make him feel better, maybe it goes incredibly wrong and Shepard feels even worse afterwards and Garrus thinks he did something wrong /o\

more light-hearted: Garrus clearly has an awkward romantic streak and Shepard ... not so much (I wouldn't be surprised if Shepard has never actually been in a remotely serious relationship). I'm all for the hilarity that may ensue from that. Maybe Garrus does things turians consider romantic or does some research on what a perfect date looks like in human societies (I'd enjoy this both when they're actually together or maybe sleeping with each other but still figuring out the whole relationship part, and before they get together because Garrus is trying very hard to show Shepard he's interested.)
post-canon fic: I'm all for Shepard being badly hurt/in a coma and nobody knowing if he'll live for a while. I'm also here for post-war Shepard having lots of trouble readjusting to a normal life (well, what counts as normal for him, he's still a soldier - I'm not interested in him retiring). How do you even have a normal life if you're the saviour of the galaxy? I can see him running away from all that to his usual marine duties and chasing the next battle and refusing to deal with how weirdly numb and empty he feels without death constantly looming. Also, what's Garrus up to? Did he go back to Palaven after the war? I'd love for there to be more pining and missing each other until they find a way to be reunited again (maybe Garrus does finally become a Spectre, too, and they work together?)
I love turians in general and am super interested in more worldbuilding for them: relationship traditions/expectations, meeting Garrus's family, possible issues with an interspecies relationship, possible issues with Garrus dating someone who's his commanding officer as long as he serves on the Normandy (is that acceptable for turians or not?) ... I'm always interested in cultural differences and misunderstandings (also ye goode olde trope of one of them doing something innocuous the other misunderstands as a romantic overture, or conversely doing something romantic the other misunderstands as friendly or even insulting ...)
during or post-canon they go on some mission for the turians and for Reasons, Garrus is officially in command during that mission - I'd love the role reversal of this, Shepard being supportive and actually doing as he's told, Garrus being badass in his own right ... and maybe they get back and Shepard suggests he keep following Garrus' orders for the rest of the night <.<
Garrus joking about marriage proposals on the Citadel made me think: Garrus pointing out that from a turian POV, Shepard would be one hell of a catch as a partner (successful military career, dutiful, self-sacrificing, devoted to the cause) - I'm less interested in actual marriage fic than in them teasing each other about this, maybe leading to Shepard pointing out that if he could be any turian's trophy husband, Garrus may have some convincing to do that he should be his ;)
in general, I adore their banter and them teasing each other - whether it's during firefights or in other rough situations or while hanging out at a bar, and maybe their teasing escalates to being more and more flirtatious over time
fun with bets! probably about who kills more husks/pirates/whatnot on a mission - maybe with slowly escalating sexual favours for the winner?

what does Shepard's mother think of Garrus? Shepard clearly had zero friends pre-ME1, she's probably used to him being a misanthropic dick, and now he's best friends with this turian who's a lot like him? Maybe Garrus contacts her to get a message to Shepard between 2 and 3, or they meet at some point during 3 on the Citadel, and she asks one or both of them if they're together ...
porn is always good. I like Shepard bottoming (and being demanding about it); I like desperate we-might-die/you-almost-died sex; I like sparring leading to sex; I like xeno weirdness (I'd like turians to have a dick and an ass, but beyond that feel free to go wild with barbed or ridged dicks or two dicks or very long tongues and the sharp teeth or whatever, just spare me the word cloaca please) and kinking on each other's differences (Shepard loving the scratch of Garrus's talons, Garrus getting off on how soft Shepard's skin is, things like that).
speaking of sparring: maybe Garrus hears about Shepard sparring with James and wonders why they've never done any hand-to-hand sparring! maybe they also need to go a few rounds and then hold a tiebreaker in Shepard's cabin ;)
Shepard usually likes it really rough and Garrus is happy to oblige (bruises? bruises please), but after a while Shepard realises to his surprise he'd actually also like to try something slower and more tender with Garrus? and maybe he's a lot less certain how to ask for that

post-war living together (sometimes) on the Citadel - maybe they both have some kind of important positions that require a lot of travel to the Citadel and Shepard offers to let Garrus stay with him at Anderson's apartment, so when they're both there, there's plenty of potential for seeing the other come out of the shower naked, having breakfast together, just being happy to be around each other, Garrus walking in on Shepard with another turian who kinda looks like him ...
post-war, Garrus finally becomes a Spectre and they work as a team; or maybe Garrus and Shepard head up some turian-human military cooperation, or maybe Garrus permanently becomes the turian liaison officer on the Normandy or really just anything else that allows them to keep working together long-term (I'd also enjoy outside POV things where new crew members maybe wonder about the commander and his turian second-in-command who's with him basically all the time)

Male Shepard/James Vega

casual hooking up during the war while they slowly develop feelings they're trying to ignore because this is so not the time (I like Shepard especially refusing to think about what might happen post-war, because he doesn't really expect to survive it; but maybe then the war is over and they both live and sooner or later they might have to deal with the fact that this has grown beyond casual sex)
related: pining while sleeping with each other, especially on James's side - wondering if there's more to this or if the Commander is just blowing off steam, wondering if they'll keep doing this after the war, wondering if he's being stupid for wanting more ...
maybe they slept with each other during those six months Vega had to babysit Shepard because, well, they were bored and into each other and Shepard was relieved of duty anyway - but then the war starts, he's Vega's CO and everything is suddenly a lot more complicated

post-canon fic: I'm all for Shepard being badly hurt/in a coma and nobody knowing if he'll live for a while. I'm also here for post-war Shepard having lots of trouble readjusting to a normal life (well, what counts as normal for him, he's still a soldier - not really interested in him retiring). How do you even have a normal life if you're the saviour of the galaxy? I can see him running away from all that to his usual marine duties and chasing the next battle and refusing to deal with how weirdly numb and empty he feels without death constantly looming. Did James get transferred to a different ship in the meantime or maybe even his own command? Does it maybe take some time until they meet again and Shepard isn't even sure if James wants to come back and serve under him again on the Normandy?
I like how surprisingly sweet James can be? I'd like to see more of that, once he becomes more comfortable around Shepard, and Shepard maybe not quite knowing what to do with it because he's always been one for casual sex rather than actual relationships.

Male Shepard/Garrus Vakarian/James Vega

Basically just throw the two requests above together? I'd love to see any of the things I've requested above for all three of them together - whumping Shepard, post-canon fic, weird cultural differences, some conflicts about wanting a human/turian/man ... This would probably start as a V - they both want Shepard, Shepard wants them both, it leads to a mildly awkward threeway arrangement, and over time Garrus and Vega either start being into each other as well or they're just very okay with being good friends who share their lover with each other; both options work for me, though I don't really see Garrus and Vega ever being madly in love with each other. I'm good with pretty much any set-up of how they all get together, so I've got prompts for just about anything, whichever works best for you. :D

Original Work

All of these ships sound so good and I'm looking forward to seeing what kinds of characters you come up with for any of them and what world the story will be set in and all that. Below you can find a lot of rambling because I figured I should give you some general ideas of what I enjoy in characters and what I might like for these tags specifically. All of these are just suggestions and preferences. I absolutely do not expect you to include literally everything I've listed here or to follow every single one of my preferences to the letter! I just wanted to give you a lot of options, this is not some kind of list I expect you to work your way through.

With that disclaimer, here are some general things I thought of that I enjoy, and then some prompt ideas for the ships I requested.

For characters:

morally grey characters: whether they're generally good-hearted people for whom the end justifies the means or power-hungry bastards who still have some principles or noble(ish) goals - I find those more interesting than shining heroes who never do anything wrong or cardboard villains who kick puppies all day for the evulz
character traits I like: loyalty, competence, confidence, intelligence, ruthlessness, principles, a sense of duty, either emotional repression or complete certainty in their devotion to someone (or both!), either very calm and controlled or very angry (or both! like calm types who are terrifying when they lose their temper), charm and/or charisma - I like Magnificent Bastards, Affably Evil characters, Determinators, stoic badasses, loyal second-in-commands, dutiful types who deny themselves happiness because they don't think their feelings should matter
character traits I enjoy less: insecurity, awkwardness, lack of determination/goals; Everyman characters, Loveable Fools, or characters who are mostly meant to be pathetic or pitiable (bad things happening to the characters is fine! I'd just like them to resist and fight back in some way, not just cry and be sad about it)
I generally like characters who are 25+, but I also enjoy age differences and am totally up for younger characters if the other half of the ship is considerably older - so two 17-year-olds are not my thing, but a 17-year-old and their 40-year-old mentor works for me
I like contrasts between characters: age, social class, cultural origins, looks, skill sets, life experience ...
mutual loyalty is really important to me for these ships - I don't enjoy it if one character is devoted to the other and the other sees them as nothing but a useful asset (though I'd find it very interesting if things started out that way and then evolved into mutual loyalty)
strong sexual attraction between the characters - porn isn't necessary (though welcome), but I like getting a sense that these characters are passionately into each other and have a great sex life, even if it's off-page
looks-wise (this is 100% optional, but just in case): I like muscular, tall, strong men, but also the more leanly muscled type; I ~~like~~ LOVE beards; long hair is great, so is very short/buzzed hair or baldness (especially combined with beards); black/ginger hair; blue/green/grey eyes; contrasts in looks - both between the two characters, but also for one character's looks (e.g. pale skin and dark hair, dark skin and very light eyes ...)
magic is cool - if you want to make any of these characters a mage, a priest with divine powers, a druid who controls animals, a sorcerer with some distant supernatural ancestors, a medium that can talk to ghosts, a prophet with visions ... go for it :D

For settings:

I like all kinds of fantasy - high fantasy with magic and dragons, low fantasy with none of that, fantasy inspired by other cultures than the typical Vaguely European Middle Ages (although I like that, too! but if you want to take inspiration from the Vikings, the Ancient Romans, the Byzantine Empire, the Aztecs, whatever, please do!)
I also like more modern-ish inspired settings - steampunk, Vaguely Victorian, industrial revolution, stuff like Dishonored or Blades in the Dark
futuristic/technologically advanced settings are cool too, but I'd rather not receive a story ~in space~ - the king being the ruler of an intergalactic futuristic empire would be cool, but I'd rather read a story set in the capital of said empire than on a spaceship
I'd rather not read a story set in the current real world or in similar modern (20th/21st century) settings - I'd like either a historical or a futuristic vibe
worldbuilding - dump all the history, religion, politics, art, literary traditions, people/tribes/countries with cultural differences etc. you like on me
I like moral nuance in settings, too, more than Good Guys fight Bad Guys; I also like fictional settings that aren't perfect utopias - if your world has sexism, homophobia, colonialism, slavery, wars, corruption, any of that stuff, that's interesting, and I find explorations of different value systems fascinating
for the monarchs, I'd like them to have actual political power - not necessarily absolute power (conflicts with councillors or powerful noble families are fun), but I don't just want them to be figureheads (but I'm good with stories about figurehead monarchs deciding to take over for real)

King's Bastard Half-Brother/Silver Fox General who helps him oust the king (M/M) (OW)

What's the background here? Was the bastard raised at court and the king actually treated him well, but the bastard was too jealous and wanted to take his place anyway? Or was the king cruel and sent him away or mistreated him and now the bastard wants revenge? Does the king even know he has a half-brother? (I'd prefer if it wasn't "Good Half-Brother ousts Cartoonishly Evil King", though the king being kind of shitty at ruling his kingdom and the bastard thinking he can do a better job is totally fine.)

And what about the general? Why is he helping the bastard? Out of loyalty to him or because he has some kind of grudge against the king? (Both are good, but I'd like it to end with loyalty to the bastard even if it doesn't start there.) And what's their plan for taking over - a full-scale military rebellion? Political scheming and assassination? How does the rest of the court and/or the country feel about the king and the bastard?

Some ideas:

the general was the mentor/teacher in all things war and strategy of both brothers, but the bastard was always his favourite, so when the bastard was put in charge of military campaigns by the king, the general went with him (and their rebellion against the king grows out of that)
the general was the mentor/teacher in all things war and strategy of both brothers, but the bastard was always his favourite, so when the king banished the bastard from court (whether out of paranoia or because the bastard was legitimately scheming against him), the general accompanied him into exile
generally, I'd love an age difference between these two, with the general being much more experienced when it comes to war and maybe politics, but the bastard being quite brilliant and learning fast
the general gets banished by the king (because he lost a battle? because he wins too many battles and is too popular?) and wants revenge - he decides to find the king's rumoured bastard brother and help him take over (is the bastard aware he's the king's brother? what's he up to - is he a soldier, a brigand, a mage ...?)
is the bastard a fighter too? or is he more the intellectual type? (is there sexy sparring? :D)
incest option: the general is actually the bastard's father and that's why he's so devoted to him, whether or not the bastard knows this from the start (though I'd prefer him finding out eventually, possibly after they started sleeping with each other); I'd rather not have the general and the bastard's mother in a serious relationship, though, I'd want the general's devotion to be about the son, not about his mother

Lawful Evil King/His Brilliant Devoted Favourite Male Slave and Closest Confidant (OW)
Lawful Evil King/His Devoted Personal Assassin (M/M) (OW)
Lawful Evil King/His Devoted Silver Fox General (M/M) (OW)

I'm really into villainous loyalty kink, in case you can't tell. :D And into villains with some sort of principles who rule with an iron fist and believe in Law and Order. I'd love some politics or scheming or courtly intrigue for this, and also a feeling that the king can't really trust anyone else, so it's just extra special that he has this one person he trusts so completely. I'd love background stories or flashbacks or mentions of the past for any of these ships to see how they grew so close, and I'm also always interested in hearing how the rest of the court feels about the king's closest advisor (if it's even known that he's the king's closest advisor).

Like I said above, I really love mutual loyalty, so it'd also be amazing to see the king do something for the other one on the rare occasions that the slave/assassin/general asks him for a favour, or the king protecting him or helping him in some way. I'd also enjoy it if they disagreed sometimes (on what to do, on how exactly to proceed, on how to deal with an enemy), while still respecting each other a lot. (Serious arguments are great, too, as long as they make up.)

What's the king like? Is he also very martially minded and a warrior himself? Is he the scholarly type? Is he blunt and direct or cunning and scheming? With the assassin and the general - are they his favourite way of dealing with problems (assassination or sending his army) or are they a last resort when the usual methods don't work? What exactly does the slave do for him - just help him come up with political schemes or collect blackmail on his enemies or devise strategic plans for wars ...?

Some ideas:

the king's court is full of power-hungry vipers who only care about their own advancement, but he can't just get rid of all of them - so there's a whole complicated system of blackmail/threats etc. to keep them in line (does the slave know about all the dirt they have on everyone? does the assassin occasionally intimidate people? does the general make sure the king's personal army is always very strategically positioned?)
there's an uprising against the king - maybe they need to flee for a while before regaining power, maybe there's an assassination attempt, maybe there's a plot to convince the king the other half of the ship has betrayed him (but they haven't)
either of them gets hurt - the king during a military campaign or an assassination attempt, the general in a war, the assassin on a mission, the slave ... not sure how the slave might get hurt, but I'd read that, too! Either way the other one 1) is extremely worried and upset, 2) goes absolutely nuclear on whoever or whatever hurt him.
King/Slave: I'd prefer if the slave hadn't been born a slave, but captured later. is he from the same people/tribe/nation as the king or not? was he initially a sex slave who turned out to be smart and trustworthy, or was he a very educated slave (a scribe maybe) or a captured great warrior whom the king only started sleeping with later? I love the huge power imbalance for this ship and the slave over time learning/having learnt that he's actually allowed to speak openly to the king (in private). do people know the king trusts the slave so much or do they think the slave is just his favourite bedwarmer? did the slave already start out with positive feelings towards the king or did he initially hate him for, you know, the whole slavery business? (I don't mind if this is a profoundly fucked up, unhealthy relationship, as long as they're both happy with it)
King/Assassin: why does the king have a personal assassin? did he have him trained personally? did he hire him for a job some day and decided to keep him? did the assassin actually plan to kill the king but then changed his mind (possibly because he watched the king for a while and decided he liked/admired the guy)? what's the assassin's position at court - is he officially a bodyguard or servant? is he officially nothing at all because he only sneaks in and out at night? or is Royal Assassin an official court position?
King/General: I'd love similar vibes to the mentor/mentee prompts I mentioned in my Bastard/Silver Fox General prompts above - maybe the general already worked for the king's father and watched him grow up, taught him about war etc.; but I'd also be up for the general only rising to importance during a war the king starts. or maybe he was a common soldier/lieutenant/captain the king put in charge because his generals were all noble idiots who got their position through money and influence.
I'm repeating myself, but ... age difference! honestly either direction works for all these ships, so do whatever pleases you :D
again, if you wanna give any of them some magic? yes please. Mage King? Priest King? General who's actually a powerful battle mage? Assassin who's some kind of arcane trickster type? Assassin who's a cleric of the god of night/darkness/murder? Slave who has divination powers he uses to spy on the king's enemies?

Warrior King/His God (M/M) (OW)
Male Paladin of Vengeance/His God (M/M) (OW)

Badass warriors having bizarrely intense relationships with and getting fucked by their gods, yes please. :D I'm really into the whole "paladin of vengeance" concept as a more ruthless, the-end-justifies-the-means take on a paladin (while still being generally a Righteous Warrior Fighting For Justice), and I'd love to see what kind of god it is he worships - is it Ragathiel by any other name (look, I just love the angry warrior angel with the flaming wings)? Is his god a more traditionally Lawful Good Type who maybe disapproves of the paladin's methods sometimes (or admires his relentless devotion to the cause)? Is it a darker god of vengeance who'd like to corrupt the paladin a little bit on his quest for vengeance? Lots of interesting dynamics possible! The Warrior King is probably a bit more straightforward, though of course he too might not necessarily worship a god of war, so y'know, feel free to go wild. If you want to write a warrior king who worships the god of Beauty and Music, I'm certainly not going to mind. :D If you want to take any inspiration from my Lawful Evil King prompts above for the Warrior King, feel free.

I would generally like for these gods to exist unambiguously in the setting - so not just faith and hoping you're right, but the gods actually do things (grant prayers/favours/miracles DnD/Pathfinder-style? actively intervene or show up? send their magical heralds/animals/avatars?). I'd also prefer if there were several gods in the setting, rather than just One True God. And I'd like it if the king/paladin were or became pretty special to the god, too, rather than just some random worshipper among thousands or millions.

Some ideas:

how did the king/paladin find his faith? was he raised in it? does he actually worship a fairly rare god because he had a vision or met some lone priest who convinced him? did he almost die and this god saved his life? did the god send him on a quest?
different gods vying for the powerful king/the mighty paladin and trying to convince him to worship them, trying to corrupt or redeem him
how does communication between them work? I'd love some kind of, er, increase in mutualness? maybe initially the king/paladin just prays, maybe at some point they get some divine favours, maybe they get visions, but maybe the god doesn't talk to them much (aside from an initial vision, if that's how it started) ... until that happens more and more
meeting your god in person for the first time must be wild - does it happen in some kind of dream/vision? does the king/paladin visit whatever plane the god resides on (for reasons)? does the god just drop by some day?
do they only meet physically after the king's/paladin's death? (I'd like there to be an actual afterlife, if that's the case, and the king/paladin maybe fighting in the god's celestial army now or whatnot). or maybe the god doesn't want his most faithful servant to die and offers him immortality as his herald - maybe the king/paladin has to do a bunch of quests/tasks/magic whatnots to achieve immortality because the god can't just give it to him
weird godfucking? weird godfucking :D whether physically or in dreams, but either way it should be a pretty mindblowing experience (does the god usually fuck mortals or is this kind of a new experience for him, to fall for one of their mortal servants?); go wild on the religious/sexual ecstasy or whatever else you can think of
for all the mutual loyalty, I do like demanding gods who have high expectations and expect their worshippers to be extremely Dutiful and Devoted and all that (unless we're going with something like the Warrior King and the God of Beauty who's just trying to get this guy to relax and watch the flowers or something - I'd enjoy that, too)

Vampire: The Masquerade - Parliament of Knives (Choice of Games)

Arundel/Robert Ward

So this is a text-only Vampire game that I've probably played too many times at this point and just love a lot. It's filled with so much complex scheming and vampire politics and various NPCs all having their own nefarious goals that I keep discovering new stuff! Absolutely brilliant. But of course what really got me was the canon vampire ship with lots of Opposites Attract and canonical blood bonding and saying the most romantic shit about each other and a tragic breakup followed by missing each other and moving heaven and earth for each other and finding back to each other and aaaaaaaaaaah, they're perfect.

I really love how different they are in so many ways - Arundel who seems so utterly controlled and commanding and aloof, what with people talking a lot about how hard he is to read, who isn't exactly a horrible guy for a vampire prince, but still utterly ruthless and who rules with an iron fist and will destroy anyone who dares to fuck with him, whereas Ward is a pretty cheerful guy who loves to show off and make a scene and tries to talk people around to his point of view, while also having a huge temper if you piss him off. And at the same time they clearly had a shared, common dream and were willing to work together and listen to each other, and there's just something so beautiful about that. I also love that they weren't even together for THAT long (considering how old they both are, 20-30 years isn't that much), so they clearly must have fallen hard and fast for each other despite their age and experience. And they're just so devoted to each other! Actually blood-bonded, considering that both of them clearly know the other's Disciplines.

There are so many things I love about them: they worked together, but both still clearly have their own principles. Despite leaving him, Ward came back THE MOMENT he thought Arundel had called him. Then he goes to tear up half the city looking for him. The fact that they trusted each other enough to bond. Everyone in Ottawa knowing that there was CLEARLY something going on between them and everybody being horribly jealous because apparently everyone is in love with Arundel (I don't blame them for that). Ward still having such unshakeable faith in Arundel and being so sure that everything will be fine if Arundel comes back. And still calling him "boss"! The huge size difference between them! The age difference! The class difference! Literally everything about their reunion scene - Arundel saying several times how much it messed him up that Ward wasn't with him, all but admitting he needs him, the bit where he asked Ward to be "his lifeline" so he wouldn't lose himself. And then the fact that if all goes well, Ward finally decides to come back to him and stay with him this time. They love each other so much and so much in canon happens just because of that! And I want literally everything about their relationship. :D

Apart from that, I also adore Qui. Super lawful and loyal and extremely hot badass? Of course I love him. And I love that he's every bit as devoted to Arundel as Ward is, to the point where they both seem to be jealous of each other (Ward complaining about Qui having "too much influence" over Arundel, Qui hating Ward in a way that seems a lot more personal than just "Anarch blowing up my city"). I have some shippy prompts featuring him below, but if you want to include Qui in a non-shippy way - whether it's him and Arundel being great partners or him and Ward sniping at each other - I'd love that, too. Qui is a delight.

anything about the beginning of their relationship! Ward was supposedly really excited to come to Ottawa and join the Camarilla there, so how did that go? did he and Arundel like each other right away? did Arundel immediately see him as an important partner to make all his coexistence dreams come true? did they have lots of arguments and discussions and fell for each other that way?
around that time: I do enjoy the Camarilla with all their convoluted rules and traditions, and that early on Ward prooobably didn't rebel too much against it yet ... I'm just saying, he should kneel for Arundel and maybe kiss his hand/ring
what exactly drew them to each other? they're both the kind of person the other one usually wouldn't like - an irreverent, passionate rebel and an unreadable, power-hungry control freak - so what made this different? what did they do that made the other one go "oh, he's NOT what I expected at all"?
did they meet for the first time then or did they know each other before? they've both been in Canada for a long time, so it wouldn't be unthinkable that they've met in the past - maybe during some Sabbat raid, maybe when Arundel visited another city ... did they already talk then? did they maybe have a passionate one-night-stand they both almost forgot until they met again?
so vampires in this setting are often not hugely interested in sex, right? especially the older they get. I could see Arundel (or both of them!) being not used anymore to caring much about sex, and I love him being absolutely blindsided by the fact that he just wants to fuck Ward's brains out in a very human way. (to clarify: I do absolutely want them to be sexually attracted to each other, but maybe it isn't lust at first sight, but only happens over time; or it is lust at first sight, but that's very unusual for them)
but also: considering that sex and blood-drinking are pretty closely linked and they probably didn't want to risk a blood bond immediately, I imagine they had UST for quite some time - give me all the almost-kisses, the pining, the passionate arguments where they back each other into corners, sharing humans they both drink from at the same time while making intense eye contact ...
sex while trying to refrain from biting each other, possibly featuring fun things like Arundel Dominating Ward into not biting him or Ward using all that supernatural strength to hold him down by his throat
that being said, I also want all the passionate blood-drinking, whether they do it on purpose or whether they snap and lose control and then worry about the consequences later; but also the completely unrestrained blood drinking once they're bonded anyway and can just bite each other to their heart's content (thigh biting? :DDD)
what if they were only bonded twice before canon because they both valued their independence too much for that third time? maybe Arundel insists on a full bond when Ward comes back because he doesn't want him to leave again
but also, what if they were in fact fully bonded all those YEARS they were apart and it fucked them up because they kept yearning for each other
anything post-breakup: Ward in New York on a small rampage, perfectly-stoic-and-controlled Arundel being so "inconsolable" that people noticed ... - I love that both of them dealt SO BADLY with their breakup
did they not see each other at all during those years after Ward left? did Arundel have spies to keep an eye on him? did he ever go see him - whether to ask him again to come back or just because he missed him so badly? I really enjoy the pain and tragedy of their lengthy breakup that they both probably assumed was for good; I'd just also want them getting back together after all that
post-canon fic! I'd love to see whatever conversations lead to Ward deciding to stay as Arundel's second-in-command rather than leave again, what made him decide to give their cooperation another chance, what exactly their Camarilla-and-Anarchs-coexistence will look like. I'd also love to see them talk some more about the Beckoning and Arundel's torture basement, and maybe Arundel having some difficulties trusting him completely again after Ward already left him once (and how will Ward convince him that he won't leave him again?)
while I absolutely adore the ending in which Ward comes to the villa to save Arundel and would love fic about that, I also enjoy the one where Qui saves him and Ward and Arundel only meet again right before the Council fight - how would that change things? how much of what Arundel tells him in the villa when Ward sees the corpses would he tell him if he didn't have to? or rather when will he tell him? how would poor Ward handle the fact that the irritating Sheriff he can't stand is the one who saved his beloved Prince? (Ward trying to be grudgingly polite to Qui while Qui still hates him cracks me up, okay)
rough sex! vampires in general are tough, but between the size kink and the combination of Ventrue Fortitude + Brujah Potence, these two are clearly made to fuck each other so hard they'd break anyone else's bones (especially once they share blood and both get stronger and tougher); maybe with bonus size kink because Ward is HUGE?
sexy fun times with Dominate, especially if Ward has extremely conflicted feelings about literally wanting Arundel to take away his free will for a little bit
in general, I'd love both of them having some hangups about submitting to each other - Arundel because he's a Ventrue Prince and if anything people should kneel for him, Ward because he loves his freedom and usually doesn't like arrogant assholes who try to boss him around, and yet they both really like the other one giving them orders (tldr: switching would be great)
fighting side by side and competence kink! whether it's pre-canon, fighting the Sabbat together, or dealing with the Archon's allies and with Arundel's expansion plans post-canon, I just want them to kick ass together and admire each other's power and then maybe fuck in the blood of their many, very dead enemies
arguments leading to sex - I imagine they find each other as infuriating sometimes as much as they find each other irresistible, so I bet once they were together, at least some of their passionate disagreements ended with one of them bent over the nearest surface :D

Arundel/Qui

Quiiiii. I admit that during my first playthrough, I missed out on a lot of Ward-related content because I was too busy following Qui around like a puppy who just wanted his approval. What a fantastic character. I love that mix of stubborn determination and loyalty with his more playful, adrenaline-hungry side - yes, he's faithfully served Arundel for 30+ years and will do anything to find him, but his idea of a fun night out is to raid a hide-out full of weapon-smuggling bikers and get his dinner that way. I'm also fascinated by his background story - being raised by a Tremere mentor who taught him a lot, but also just used him; getting tortured horribly by that Tzimisce who even "warped his soul", but the result being that he gets a more "normal" un-life than probably any other Nosferatu ever ... Speaking of, I love that he doesn't seem to get along very well with his own clan, which seems pretty unusual for a Nosferatu. But he and Bouchard clearly don't like each other, and Qui seems to only care about his position as Sheriff, not about any scheming to further his own or his clan's position. And I mean, there's the fact that his portrait is RIDICULOUSLY hot. They didn't need to make him that hot, but they did and I appreciate that.

And I just adore how utterly devoted he is to Arundel - he's been by his side since Arundel became Prince, and they knew each other a bit before that, too, so Qui has had a long time to develop all that respect and admiration for him, and Arundel has had just as long to rely on Qui and actually learn to trust him. I love Qui doing everything to find him even when everyone already tells him to give up. I also love that, despite his devotion, he doesn't seem afraid to speak his mind around Arundel and disagree with him, even if he'll back off when Arundel puts his foot down. Arundel clearly relies on him a lot, but I get the feeling in canon that he still keeps him at a distance (especially compared to how he behaves around Ward) - I'd love to see their relationship develop in a more mutual direction, with Arundel realising that he wants Qui to be more than just his loyal ~~dog~~ Sheriff.

Note: I also love Arundel/Ward, so I'd prefer fic that doesn't 1) kill off Ward, 2) go on about them totally never ever getting back together. I'd prefer something set before Arundel and Ward get together, or set after Ward left town, or maybe it's sort of a semi-open relationship so both ships can coexist ... I'm good with a lot of things, just please don't tell me how totally 100% over Ward Arundel is (I'm perfectly okay with Qui hating Ward and talking shit about him, though).

tell me aaaaaall about the beginnings of their relationship - did they have much to do with each other yet before Arundel became Prince? or was it just after Arundel's predecessor got herself killed and Arundel rebuilt his Domain with Qui by his side? either way I'd love to see that slowly growing mutual respect and cooperation
canon does mention that they were the only survivors of the Sabbat raid that killed Arundel's predecessor, so anything about that would be cool - fighting together, life saving, Arundel becoming Prince shortly after that and deciding to keep Qui around ...
maybe early on, Arundel bonded Qui to himself - just once, no need to overdo it, just a little bit of blood once a year to ensure his loyalty ... some nice UST blood drinking? maybe he eventually stopped because he genuinely trusted Qui and Qui was honoured by that, but he actually also missed the intimacy of their yearly ritual of getting to drink from his Prince?
Qui's loyalty is such a rare thing among Kindred, so anything about that - maybe some time another Kindred approached Qui and tried to turn him against Arundel, and Qui dragged him staked to his Prince?

Qui having a more-or-less platonic crush on Arundel, or at least being very okay with their relationship being platonic even if he's attracted to him, until Ward shows up and Qui realises that Arundel isn't in fact above human feelings like love and attraction - and suddenly Qui's pining intensifies because now he can't stop thinking about Arundel having sex with Ward and what if Arundel was also interested in him ...
Qui comforting Arundel after Ward leaves him and things go from there - maybe they have rough, bad idea rebound sex that's just supposed to make Arundel feel better, but they keep doing it and they catch feelings ...
Arundel, for all his forward-thinking ideas, is still a bit of a posh snob - what if he finds the idea of fucking and/or drinking from a Nosferatu disgusting, and ... something needs to happen to make him see Qui in a different light? I enjoy a good "oh no, he's hot" realisation - maybe when they fight people together or when Qui demonstrates his loyalty for him and kneels for him afterwards or maybe after Qui saved his life ...
just like with Ward, I'd love Qui having to deal with the 'verse in which Ward is the one who saves Arundel's life (though of course I also adore Qui being the one to save him)
Qui is also extremely tall, so ... size kink! I so like Arundel being a tall, broad-shouldered guy himself, but apparently being into men who tower over him
Qui's hair is gorgeous and it should get grabbed and pulled a lot - while he's blowing Arundel, or drinking from him, or fucking him ...
I like the idea of Qui usually not being very subby (he dated his ghoul, he clearly has some control issues), but Arundel with all that effortless dominance of his just bringing it out in him and Qui being very, very happy to serve and please him
but also: Qui fucking Arundel senseless once they've been doing that for a while
I find Qui's bloody scar extremely sexy; it should get kissed and licked and caressed and nibbled on
very specific prompt: one of Arundel's ideas to stave off the Beckoning is to drink Qui's blood once or twice to bond himself to him - he would have done it with Ward, but since Ward left him ... Cue Qui being extremely honoured, extremely turned on, probably feeling bad for letting his pining get out of hand when he's just supposed to help his Prince, and Arundel maybe finally seeing Qui in a different light ... maybe there's bloody fucking eventually, maybe they both resist the UST because they don't want to do it just because of the blood bond, and they only fuck once Arundel finds a different solution with his shady torture experiments (or once he binds himself to Ward instead) and they let the bond fade, but realise the attraction is still there
this is supremely fucked up, but ... Arundel asking Qui to make himself look like Ward before he sleeps with him - maybe Qui does it, or maybe that is the one thing he actually refuses to do (and maybe instead he proceeds to distract Arundel from his faithless lover who left him in a different way) [and yes, I know that's not quite how that ability works anyway, it'd be impossible to do without Ward there, but hey, maybe that's Qui's excuse not to do it, or maybe you can just handwave the exact rules if you want him to do it]

Robert Ward/Qui

This may be a less obvious ship than the other two, but I just really enjoy a good bit of antagonism that has the potential to become more than just antagonism. And I adore them both and wish canon had actually given us more direct interactions between them.

I enjoy that they're such extremely different people (the rebel Anarch and the very lawful Sheriff) who are not only both devoted to Arundel, but also utterly convinced that he's a great Prince who rules well and is generally right about things, even if they may disagree with him at times. And they clearly just cannot STAND each other (Qui spending half of canon hunting Ward; Ward talking about Qui being a "prick" and literally hoping he dies at one point), and they also both have some jealousy going on (I'm FASCINATED by Ward complaining that Qui always had "too much influence over Arundel" because Arundel doesn't strike me as an easily influenced guy). So there's a lot of antagonism there, but I also feel like they both care enough about Arundel to at least try to get along. Somewhat. While still being jealous of each other. And maybe in time they might learn to like each other? Or at least their arguments grow a bit less serious and a little bit more friendly?

I do think they have some potential to develop a better relationship - they certainly both seem a lot more adventurous and more inclined to do things for fun than Arundel, so maybe they can bond over that. That being said, I'd also enjoy a fic that's nothing but hate sex and arguments, so don't feel obliged to write something more emotionally intense than that if you don't want to.

did they dislike each other from the start (due to their personality/viewpoint differences) or did they actually get along at first? I'd love to get a glimpse at their first meetings
if there was a time when they got along better, if only because Qui was trying to be supportive of Arundel's decisions, did they hook up before Ward got with Arundel (or afterwards, if Arundel didn't mind)? I'd love some working-together-leading-to-a-spontaneous-hookup sort of situation, whether it's more friendly or more antagonistic
pre-canon hate sex, possibly while they're both pining for Arundel
but maybe also early bonding moments over having a lot of respect for him, or while working together to deal with some Sabbat problems or inter-Camarilla rebels
they're both very big, strong guys, so I'm very much here for rough sex with lots of manhandling and neither of them being used to someone else being able to match their strength and to hold them down or lift them (wall sex? yes)
starting to work together post-canon because they do both want to make Arundel's vision reality and they slowly realise they actually get along at times - Ward would probably enjoy Qui's idea of a fun night out a lot, and I can see him starting to go hunting with Qui because Arundel is just no fun in that regard and simply has his servants bring him mortals to eat
I'd generally like Ward getting to see a different side of Qui than just the dutiful, obedient Sheriff upholding the system - which he is, obviously, but that's not ALL there is to him
what if Qui only finds Sam's murderer post-canon and Ward happens to be with him at the time? that'd be a good opportunity for Ward to see that Qui has emotions and all that ;)
like I said above, I'd love either of them having to deal with the fact that the other one saved his beloved Prince, especially if that newfound respect is one-sided at first - whether it's Ward grudgingly accepting that Qui is utterly loyal and not just out for himself, or Qui grudgingly realising that Ward does still love Arundel and is trying to make it work again; either way I'd find it really funny if one of them tries to be nicer and the other one is not having it for the longest time
an AU version of canon in which Ward and Qui very, very grudgingly work together to find Arundel - maybe Qui finds proof much earlier that the Anarchs are convenient fall guys for Corliss' schemes and seeks out Ward; maybe Ward approaches Qui because he figures if anyone can help him find Arundel, it's his 1) extremely competent, 2) extremely devoted Sheriff; either way the whole thing makes them realise that they can actually get along (and it might even lead to them hooking up while looking for Arundel)
Nosferatu have that neat little ability where they can calm someone's Beast, right? sooo Ward in a Frenzy and Qui actually bothering to calm him instead of just trying to stake him to shut him up - especially if it's at a time when they really don't like each other, Ward would probably appreciate that immensely

What if ... all of those ships together? :D Everything I've said about the individual ships here still applies. I'd assume in a threeway situation, Arundel and Ward would get together first with Qui joining them at some point later, but if you have an idea for Arundel and Qui getting together really early on in Arundel's reign and it's Ward who arrives later, I'd also love to read that! Or if you want to write Ward and Qui starting to fuck while both pining for Arundel and they only realise later on that Arundel is also interested, that would also be perfect.

I'd love this starting out very messy, with lots of jealousy and resentment and uncertainty because Arundel wants them both and they both love him enough to accept that, but they also really don't fucking like each other and aren't happy about having to share (though I'd prefer if they eventually figured out ways to make the situation work for all of them)

Qui has been pining quietly for Arundel for a while by the time Ward shows up and Arundel falls for him hard, and Qui is kind of bitter because he assumed Arundel was above such things as love or attraction - I love Qui being intensely jealous of Ward and also seriously questioning Arundel's taste, I'd just also love him to get with them eventually :D
maybe Arundel always saw Qui as just his loyal Sheriff, dependable and valuable, but somewhat beneath him - and it's only post-canon, after Qui saved his life AND starts taking on even bigger responsibilities in his Domain that Arundel starts seeing him as more of an equal (well, -ish, it's still Arundel) - hell, maybe it's Ward's fault for teasing Arundel about Qui clearly having a thing for him, and that gives Arundel ideas

it's not a thing in the lore, I know, but if you want to handwave that and have all three of them bonded somehow (though preferably not quite Vaulderie-style, I think they'd have issues with that), I'd find that immensely hot and enjoyable - or maybe it's just Arundel who's somehow mutually bonded to both of them in handwavey ways [if you want to write something plotty: maybe they need to do some research or they need some magical artefact or spell to make this possible]

Vampire: The Masquerade - Port Saga
Edmund Glass/Titus Reed

This podcast is so good - the murder mystery, the political scheming, the big cast of so many intriguing characters, the excellent voice acting. But on a shippy level, I mostly came away from it wanting Glass to badtouch poor Titus. I love how angry Titus is at the world, how much he struggles with his own humanity and his past and all his emotions and real or perceived failures; I love that he's not exactly stupid, but also not the most politically experienced guy, so he's completely unprepared for all the scheming going on around him. And Glass is just such a smug, cheerful asshole - he's clearly having the time of his life being a lying, manipulative, power-hungry vampire prick, and I enjoy how unapologetic he is about that. The way he manages to get under Titus' skin and rile him up is so much fun.

For this ship, I'm up for anything from complete noncon-via-blackmail of the "you have to do everything I say" kind, or something dubcon-y where Glass manipulates/pressures Titus, but Titus maybe thinks he can also get something out of it, to something consensual but fucked up like angry hate sex and reluctant attraction - maybe Titus thinks he can manipulate Glass, maybe he thinks it's a good idea to fuck someone he will definitely not grow emotionally attached to, maybe he has an ill-advised thing for rich, arrogant Ventrue douchebags. I would prefer it if Titus ended up enjoying the sex, though, even if it's non-consensual. Honestly, as long as Titus makes some bad life choices and Glass is having a great time being a smug, happy asshole, I'm sure I'll love it. :D

I also like Titus' complicated, sad feelings about his dead sire and am totally fine with their past relationship coming up. I like pretty much the entire cast, so feel free to have anyone else appear. Some of my faves are Rebel, Lysander, and Quill. We don't know much about what any of the characters look like, but feel free to include your own ideas about their looks - or keep it as vague as you like. Either works for me.

Titus ends up owing Glass a TON of bond debts at the end of season one - maybe Glass demands some sexual favours and Titus has no choice but to obey
or maybe Titus could in fact say no (maybe Glass was just needling him and not actually serious), but it's a welcome excuse for him to pretend that he has no choice in the matter
maybe the sexual favours start out slow (like making Titus strip to humiliate him, or making him kneel at Glass' feet) and only slowly escalate to actual sex
maybe it starts out as a noncon/dubcon thing, but Titus actually enjoyed it - so when Glass stops fucking him (maybe because the debts have been paid, maybe because he is playing some cat and mouse game with Titus), Titus actually has to go to him and admit that he wants him ... or maybe he deliberately brings himself in new situations in which Glass can demand sex from him
