While I was procrastinating, I indulged in my latest obsession and looked for a few pretty pictures of *drum roll* Miroslav Klose. And I found these absolutely HILARIOUS pictures from some milk advertisement he did a while ago. I showed them to
assassin_nariel , who immediately suggested to photoshop the same milk advertisement with, of course, Hans Landa. I have no idea why I didn't think of this myself. Because who could advertise healthy, yummy milk better than our dearest Standartenführer Hans "un verre de lait s'il vous plaît" Landa?
Original pictures and photoshopped Landa silliness behind the cut. The pictures are fairly big, and I don't want to cram people's f-lists with my late night silliness.
So, these are the original pictures. I find Klose's incredibly serious facial expression hilarious. Because milk is serious business!

The text reads:
"Milk is my strength." (big letters)
"Miroslav Klose, World Cup Topscorer: What makes a good striker? A strong will, robust bones, a lot of energy and a daily glass of milk with calcium, milk sugar and proteins. Because from nothing nothing comes."
(Did I mention he's hot? He's hot. Damn, is he hot.)
And the second picture, even more hilarious (I laughed so much I cried):

And now ... the photoshopped Landa silliness. I'm not very good at all this photoshop business, so this looks very amateurish. Also, Landa doesn't seem to think that milk is such serious business, after all ...

The text is almost the same:
"Milk is my strength. Hans Landa, SS-Standartenführer: What makes a good SS-officer? A strong will, high intelligence, a lot of energy and a daily glass of milk with calcium, milk sugar and proteins. Because from nothing nothing comes."
Erm ... yes. I feel like drinking a glass of milk now. The advertisement worked. Both with Miro and with Landa.
(And before somebody starts complaining, no, I'm obviously not comparing them. But an advertisement for MILK was begging for a Landa joke (even though this advertisement is older than Inglourious Basterds, but who cares.))
I apologise for taking up your time with such nonsense, but I simply couldn't resist. :) You should all go and drink a glass of milk now, it's healthy - no matter what line of work you're in. ;D

Date: 2010-06-23 12:54 am (UTC)Heh, unfortunately you can't watch Klose in the next match (Wednesday), he got a red card in the last match, so he won't play tomorrow. :'( Germany without Klose is just not the same. But drooling at him is always a good option - seriously, that man is just gorgeous. The eyes, the nose, the everything. ^^
YAY!! :D You're a bit late to the party, but better late than never. ;) Landa is so wonderful ... and so is Hellstrom. Now I can force you to read my fanfics about them. ;) Nah, never mind me. But it's great that you saw IB in time to understand my silly Landa/milk-joke. ^^

(I have to imagine a TV clip with Landa all the time, in which he actually says, "Milch ist meine Stärke." With Hellstrom facepalming in the background.)

Date: 2010-06-23 08:07 am (UTC)I had to do the Landa thing. Don't you just see him saying that? Also, he seems to be having a lot more fun than Klose. ;)

Date: 2010-11-28 09:00 am (UTC)So, it seems Tarantino is able to memorize milk advertising lines and use them in his movies; this is really strange, isn't it?
