I thought finding out that Michael Ballack looks like Aldo Raine was bad. But at least that was just because of the clothes and the fake moustache and the sprawl. This look-alike is even weirder. The big bad guy in Resident Evil: Afterlife looks EXACTLY like Tim Wiese. Seriously, they could be twins. Unfortunately, I couldn't find many pics of that guy (played by Shawn Roberts, whoever that is, or should I say Shawn Wiese?) except for the few official promo pics. The similarity is actually even more striking when you see the movie. He and Wiese have the same smirk. And when I say "the same smirk", I mean it. It's not similar, it's identical.

But even without the smirk - they have the same jaw line, the same chin, their noses are rather similar, and they both have a very similar horrible, longish, sleezy, slimy, fake-blond haircut (okay, Wiese doesn't on the picture below, but he does now). But it's really the jaw and chin that get me. The general sleeziness. They both can only be described by that wonderful German word "Proll".

I don't really have good pics to prove my point. As I said, not many pics from Resident Evil out there, and since I'm not exactly a big Wiese fan I didn't want to spend hours looking for a fitting picture of him. But, still, please tell me that I'm not the only one who sees this? This has been driving me crazy throughout the entire movie.

I really wish I could find a picture of Resident Evil-guy's smirk. Two non-related men should NOT have such similar facial expressions.

Also, James Frain looks like a younger, sexier version of Sylvester Groth. IDEK. It's all I could think about when I watched Whisky mit Wodka. No pictures for this one, because you'd probably all think I'm insane anyway.

I looked pretty much like this in the cinema today:

(Purple is so not your colour, Miro.)

Erm, yes, I'm also back from Hamburg. It was really nice. I will reply to e-mails and stuff tomorrow or so. Postcards have been sent out to everywhere.

...whoa. That's creepy. Like, if you hadn't mentioned it, I'd have thought it was the same person. Although I'm loving the creeptastic eyes.

HI! YOU'RE BACK! YAY!

I know right? It's creepy. They even have the same ears. I'm so glad you see it too, I was afraid everyone would go like, "huh, they don't look alike at all!"
Creeptastic eyes were probably one of the better things about the movie, because the movie was rather disappointing.

Yep, am back. ^^

Pffft. Your posts always make sense. Maybe a twisted, cracky kind of sense, but the logic can always be followed.

Bah. I've just been feeling the dearth of movies in local theatres, and thought that might be ... pointlessly violent enough to tide me over. Y/N?

You was missed. We decided that all the great ideas ever come from you, and yet you're all sneaky inceptor because we never remember that it was you who planted the idea until we go hunting back for the first mention and are all like, oh, linn said that. Oh, and that too. AND THAT TOO. WUT.

I may be a little high off giddiness. Pardon me!

Twisted, cracky kind of sense. I like that. It sounds like a compliment. ^^

There's just shit in the cinemas, which is about the only reason I went to watch this one (that and my brother dragging me along). It's ... well, it's entertaining, but less fun than the first three.

My ego just exploded. ^^ I like that, too, me sneaking around giving people insane ideas to make them write fic. Bwahahaha. ;)

Never apologise for being high and giddy. What do you think I am when I post stuff like this?

Is a massive compliment! :D

IKR? There's *nothing* in theatres of any interest. Everything I'm really looking forward to isn't out until December. But I'm a movie theatre freak and miss going to sit in empty rows and stare at a huge screen. :(

Mmm. Well. I may still consider it if I've got time on my hands (not filled by smut writing.)

...You are like ninja!inceptor. Is insane. Like how hivemind is become it's own sentient being.

:D *bounce*

I'm just like that too. I've stopped counting the number of crappy movies I've seen just because I wanted to go to the cinema even though there was nothing worth watching. :/

Ninja!inceptor. This is the most epic nickname anyone ever gave me. :D

*grins* Hello, fellow movie theatre geek! It's pretty nice, because no one seems to go to my showings, so it's basically me, inna theatre. Rocks. I'll go see crap action/scifi/fantasy movies, but I can't handle crap comedy or relationship movies. BORING.

Epic nickname for an epic person! If I had any skills, I would make you an icon. But I has none.

The cinemas here are rarely empty, but I don't mind. It's actually kinda fun watching movies and being the only one who's laughing their arse off. ;) And I'm with you, there's nothing worse than crap comedy or romance. If there are explosions it's at least entertaining, even if the movie is shit.

*hopes that serpentsign will stumble upon this post and thread sooner or later* ;)

Exactly! Even crap action movies are all *easily distracted EXPLOSIONS EVERYWHERE WOOOOOOT*.

*may have to give serpent a poke*

Yep, although I really have to be in the right mood to watch action movies, otherwise I'm just bored out of my mind. ;)

Yay. ^^

Yay, hai there! :D

...

They DO look alike, at first I was like "naaaah..." but now...yeah. That lil almost-sneer they both have *nods*

Hahaha, oh Miro's face <3 *sniggers*

Exactly. That sneer/smirk-expression is so similar it's downright creepy. And the jaw/chin. Seriously, wtf.

Miro is precious, he makes hilarious faces. ^^ I love him so much. <3

Just wanted to thank you for the beautiful Hamburg postcard!! (At last the holidays here are over and I'm reunited with my P.O.box). Looks like a wonderful and romantic place to spend a vacation, hope you had enjoyed it!

Ah, I was starting to wonder when the postcards would arrive. Glad you liked it. :) I definitely enjoyed the few days I spent there. Hamburg seems to be a wonderful city, not just for a short holiday, but I can understand why so many people want to live there.

Since I did not see the movie you mentioned (Wiese on the other hand probably did) I can only say so much: I wish Wiese had eyes as fierce as the other dude's killer eyes.

He could so throw shank-eyes and evil side-eyes with them. And they also GLOW in the dark, how awesome is THAT!

I think Wiese wants those eyes REAL bad -- they might outglow his ridic tan ;)

You didn't miss anything, the movie is crap. The only reason I saw it was because I wanted to go to the cinema and there was NOTHING worth watching, so I let my brother drag me along hoping that the movie would at least be entertaining. It wasn't really. Surprise!Wiese was the best thing about it.

The resemblance is scary. And I'm all for Wiese suddenly developing glowing orange killer eyes. Do you think they'd go with his beautiful new orange jersey? (What the fuck is up with that anyway? Orange??? Better than pink, but still ...)
Somebody should photoshop those eyes on a Wiese picture. Okay, not really necessary, since the guy already looks like Wiese anyway.

From: [identity profile] wb-deep-play.livejournal.com
My talents are limited. I was unable to fake BVG monthly tickets with photoshop, I probably won't be able to give Wiese those highly needed scarry eyes.

His kit. Oh my. It does not make him look ugly is I guess the best u could say about it. People have pointed out the orange kit is like that cornflakes tiger (Crispys or sumthin dunno don't eat that crap)

Needless to say, I approve of watching random movies, you can not always watch arthouse stuff, right?

My favorite silly movie (of all times) is 'Don't mess with the Zohan' You don't even need to be stoned or totes hyper to get into the mood. This movie actually does that for you.
Come to think of it, it has a Wiese character of sorts too. Adam Sandler...
Rosenthal (sauna dude) lists that movie too. SO I might join him in his eternal interwebz sauna session now ;) *presses elevator button*

I'm a photoshop idiot, too, so it looks like Wiese will have to live without epic orange eyes. Poor guy. I feel so sorry for him.

LOL the tiger. My first association (since I don't eat that crap either) was the waste collection here in Berlin, with the orange cars and orange clothes and orange dustbins ...

Exactly. ^^ I just generally love to go to the cinema, and if there's nothing great, I usually end up watching silly action movies because I can't stand most comedies (let alone romances, iek). I haven't seen the Zohan movie. One of my favourite silly movies that makes you behave like you're stoned and/or hyper is Reefer Madness. ;)
The eternal interwebz sauna ... now THAT sounds like some weird arthouse movie. ;)
