I'm in the right mood for memes right now. And I should really go to bed already. -.-

Give me a character (or ten) from any fandom you know I'm in, and I'll let you know:

* How I FEEEEEL about this character
* All the people I ship romantically with this character
* My non-romantic OTP for this character
* My unpopular opinion about this character
* One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

Oh, thank you! I could imagine what the arguments would have been , I am quite familiar with this subject.

Me? I am firmly in the school of thought "nothing happened", because this what Sandor says in "his moment of truth", being sober, and wanting Arya to kill him. It doesn't make sense for him to hide what happened here as he wants Arya to kill him. And anyways, he does tell the truth always, whatever he is, he never lies.

If you see, the majority there agree with me too - I think nothing ever happened, nit even a kiss (because again, Sandor could have mentioned that too to anger Arya).

BUT SOME CRAZY COMMENTS ARE THERE!!!!

true. the one thing i can't refute is the symbolism of him giving her his cape. today it would just be gallant to keep a woman warm but in those days a man giving a woman a cloak was a big deal.

not sure what to make of the gesture. what do you think? is it nothing or something yet to be discussed?

Well, he didn't quite "give it to her", he dropped it on a floor as he left because he didn't want anyone to recognize him , without thinking of any symbolism, just as I would imagine him to do. :D

The important part is that she took it (off the floor) , covered herself with it and kept it all the time. In my simple mind - she fancies him :D, this what that means.

The kiss might have happened , though, and Martin put it there to make us mad with over-thinking.

This is the moment in the book, BTW:

"Some instinct made her lift her hand and cup his cheek with her fingers. The room was too dark for her to see him, but she could feel the stickiness of the blood, and a wetness that was not blood. “Little bird,” he said once more, his voice raw and harsh as steel on stone. Then he rose from the bed. Sansa heard cloth ripping, followed by the softer sound of retreating footsteps.
When she crawled out of bed, long moments later, she was alone. She
found his cloak on the floor, twisted up tight, the white wool stained by blood and fire. The sky outside was darker by then, with only a few pale green ghosts dancing against the stars. A chill wind was blowing, banging the shutters. Sansa was cold. She shook out the torn cloak and huddled beneath it on the floor, shivering."

so from this reading, i get more that the cloak symbolizes sandor ripping off his responsibility to the kingsguard than anything else. but it is odd that she would then choose a torn, bloody cloak to keep her warm. probably because sandor has been someone she could rely on to take care of her when she was in trouble.

in any case, i will pay close attention to her interactions with him when i re-read the series.

I have been re-reading them numerous times, and honestly, the idea of Sandor actually doing something to Sansa never crossed my mind as this doesn't add up, the same as with Ned/Ashara - I am sure it wasn't Ned who made Ashara pregnant.

agreed. ned is just too noble for that. and i also feel that sandor has similar noble tendancies, to a degree. i suspect that grrm had only 2 true knights running around westeros at the moment: sandor and brienne.

have you really re-read them that often? i've only read through once and that was at break neck speed since i was so eager to find out what happened. my next reading will be much slower. i've also been thinking about reading one pov through all the books to see if that would give me a more complete view of each character.

i want to re-read it very slowly and then before the next book comes out. but maybe there will be more :)

Sometimes I go and do searches in the ebooks (by name usually) . I did this few time for Sandor as he is my favorite and his scenes aren't THAT many. Yes, I am that geeky. I go and search for "sandor" and "hound". :D

I only re-read AFFC properly, but I am going to do ACOK before the new season starts. But I read the first few books quite well and had a good friend to discuss them with, so I am quite positive I remember the main points. Sometimes if I have a question, I go and search in ebooks.

I didn't view sandor as that noble at the beginning of the books, but he had few points he was firm on, like NO LYING.
