I'm in the right mood for memes right now. And I should really go to bed already. -.-

Give me a character (or ten) from any fandom you know I'm in, and I'll let you know:

* How I FEEEEEL about this character
* All the people I ship romantically with this character
* My non-romantic OTP for this character
* My unpopular opinion about this character
* One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

Omigod, yes, Toreth!!! One of my very favorite characters. I could easily see the dueling mindfuckery between those two, and Toreth would probably subdue Landa in the end. Toreth and Hellstrom would be an even more fascinating match-up.

I've enjoyed the Stiglitz/Hellstrom stories you and Nariel have written and quite like the idea of them being childhood friends who went in vastly different directions. And of course, I like to think that Stiglitz going postal on all those SS officers has a lot to do with his heart being broken by Hellstrom.

I remember you mentioning at one point that had Hellstrom lived, he and Landa would have set up house on Nantucket Island and lived happily ever after, until Hellstrom died of lung cancer, which is a vastly appropriate ending. ;-D

Toreth, my beloved mind twin. ^^ I love him so much it's not even funny anymore. You know, I never got all this rambling from people who didn't feel "represented" in the media ... neither did I, I just never minded. But Toreth makes me feel so very represented, and I get now that it's kind of awesome. It's like a more awesome version of myself running around on page.
Yep, I think not even Landa would win against Toreth. He's just too good. Hellstrom would have even less of a chance, Toreth would use his weaknesses against him so easily.

I know it's unlikely, but it was nice to play around with the idea, childhood friends who became completely estranged, choosing such different paths. Like most fanfic, it's a bit of a mental exercise.

Exactly. ^^ It would have been beautiful, and tragic, and more importantly painful and disgusting because I think dying of lung cancer is pretty horrifying. Especially fifty years ago.

Ahhh, yes, Toreth. I could see you perfectly matched with him. You just have to find him in real life. And I agree, he'd have no difficulty whatsoever bending Hellstrom to his will.

I actually feel it makes some sense, Hellstrom and Stiglitz being childhood friends. It gives Stiglitz some motivation for targeting Gestapo officers, and of course we all believe that Hellstrom was wielding the whip in Stiglitz's whipping flashback. Just as Landa and Hellstrom having been lovers provides Landa's motivation for strangling Bridget. One person at fanfiction.net wrote a pretty good storty about that, an alternate take on Landa's investigation apres the tavern massacre.

Beautiful and tragic and painful - dear Dieterchen dying of lung cancer, his body finally ravaged by all those cigarettes. Saving him from death would be the one thing Landa couldn't do for him. I should write about that.
